@@MysticFoxWildlifeArt My assumption is, you'd take over the younger born of the pack. So if your wolf lasted 4 breeding seasons, but died on the 5th, you'd take over which ever 2 year old was with the pack at that point, so maybe not a wolf from litter 1 but probably one that came from litter 3 because those would be the 2 year mark and ready for dispersal by the time breeding season 5 rolled in and the origin wolf died.

tysm this is amazing!! i literally am so excited for the saga!! i literally love and appreciate the hard work its just so amazing wolfquest is the best!!!
This is so magical. This has to be the best animal game ever made. I hope someday I can play it with my children and they can enjoy it just as much as I did when I first found the original WolfQuest fifteen years ago as a teenager!
I hope we get caregiver wolves - pups that stay after growing up to care for the new litters alongside the mating pair. So when you essentially restart the game to have your next litter, maybe one or two adults remain with you and help feed new litters, defend territory, encourage a pack hunt, etc. Might be a lot to expect/ask for in terms of the work that would have to be put in, but it would still be so cool!! Everyone just wants a big pack in the end, I think! 😂 But maybe that can only be gained after several generations of wolves mostly leaving and some staying - could be an adult limit of 8, and that allows for the introduction of more adult pack social behaviors and fascinating dynamics. It could eventually be able to introduce human intervention, the threat of hunters/vengeful ranchers or even the presence of biologists taking wolves away to either place trackers or straight up removal projects to relocate some of the adult pack members (previous pups) of packs that reach a size limit. Wolfquest is my childhood and I love seeing it expanding and becoming more and more refined. It played such a huge part of my desire to become an environmental scientist/ecologist and conservation biologist. I live in AZ, so my hope is to be involved in the Mexican Wolf Project within the next 5 years... Big hope since it's a smaller team, but Wolfquest was such an influence that inspired my path. Thank you, devs and others, for your passionate work, beautiful creations, and educational mission in the name of Wolves!! ❤️
imagine having 10-55 wolves like realistic packs! since the map is too small for perhaps 55 wolves, the developers could create an even bigger map for us to roam around?
@@lazyrat6687 an average sized pack will have as many as 6 to 8 members. But there was a Canadian pack that held the highest number of individuals, 36!!!! That's a VERY successful pack.

Oh my gosh, what a GREAT way to give us that real feeling of the pups growing over time... absolutely love it. As a related question: when the saga is implemented, is the plan for the year to still include the "timeskips" between winter and early spring, early spring and late spring, etc.? Also! Will we be able to see our pups' experience levels??
How long have I been watching these and watching for the mobile version to come out? Idk 3, 4 years? And I’ll keep watching and waiting patiently until it’s out, watching the progress of this game is enough for me!
Awesome! :) The idea of raising pups all the way up was always one of my favorite ideas ever since Slough Creek first came out, so long ago. I used to recreate my pups as adult wolves whenever I started anew; I thought it was cool enough in the current game to be have that be a built-in feature for surviving pups, but this will be even better. I can't wait to see the older pup and yearling behaviors.
Wow you guys are really going above and beyond!! The dedication to make this game realistic and accurate to wolf's life is really admirable! Thank you so much WQ devs, I cant wait to get back to playing the game once I get a new pc :))
Thank you guys for all the updates. Is it possible to also get a call for the pups to call them back to the den without sending them back inside? Also maybe have the run back to the den? Since them wandering around and exploring is apart of their way of gaining experience it’s only fair they wander a lot. However it can be very hard to keep up with all the pups when they all begin to wander far away in different directions. Especially in the case of a den attack and the pups panic and begin to scatter. It’s very hard to protect them and keep them from getting lost. Thanks.
so excited for the saga!! since the pups will keep growing and stuff, would they eventually leave the pack? like if a stranger wolf came by and was trying to encourage one of the pups to leave with them, would it be our job as the parent to chase them off? seems like such a cool mechanic!!!

This is so magical. This has to be the best animal game ever made. I hope someday I can play it with my children and they can enjoy it just as much as I did when I first found the original WolfQuest fifteen years ago as a teenager!
You guys (devs) are so amazing. Thank toy for all you've done, you've worked hard at wq and I respect that. Well done 👏 👏👏
Omg yes I badly want this! Plus lord 6 years??? It took 6 years!…Y’all fr have a lot of dedication it’s amazing
Yep thats part of the saga
imagine having 10-55 wolves like realistic packs! since the map is too small for perhaps 55 wolves, the developers could create an even bigger map for us to roam around?
@@lazyrat6687 an average sized pack will have as many as 6 to 8 members. But there was a Canadian pack that held the highest number of individuals, 36!!!! That's a VERY successful pack.
@@lazyrat6687 Yeah lets not pretend that there going to be that many
@@jinx6573 oooh wow. I thought Wolfquest said that there was on average 55-80 wolves in a pack in a video. I clearly misheard.
I'm truly happy to see WQ getting more and more complete and getting off the ground. Can't wait to play the new level
SO excited for AI updates!!!!!
AHHH I'm so excited!! I've been playing wolfquest since 2.7 in about 2011 when I was little... so happy to have grown up with the perfect game for me :)
Been having a bad day but seeing this made me so happy. Glad the new tool will make it easier for new behaviors and can't wait to see what you do next
I was so pumped to see this update!! It's literally my dream to go visit Yellowstone one day and get as close as I can to the actual area in the game. It would be so amazing to do something like that!!
You will be able to see pups XP progress, though not specific levels, most likely.
@@WolfQuestGame Woah! Will these be in numbers (eg 100xp) or in age (eg 4weeks)?
How long have I been watching these and watching for the mobile version to come out? Idk 3, 4 years? And I’ll keep watching and waiting patiently until it’s out, watching the progress of this game is enough for me!
Awesome! :) The idea of raising pups all the way up was always one of my favorite ideas ever since Slough Creek first came out, so long ago. I used to recreate my pups as adult wolves whenever I started anew; I thought it was cool enough in the current game to be have that be a built-in feature for surviving pups, but this will be even better. I can't wait to see the older pup and yearling behaviors.
Wow, this looks great! I'm so excited for the Saga it's gonna be epic!
As someone who wants to make games i really like that y’all go into the process!!
GEEZ! I’m so excited! I always am for new wq updates, but I’m EXTRA excited!
I am so exciting. Its so good to see the new Ai! I can't wait for the next update.
you guys are just awesome
Bro I've been wanting this for so long! 😭❤
Omg wobbly pups, adorable!!
Wow you guys are really going above and beyond!! The dedication to make this game realistic and accurate to wolf's life is really admirable! Thank you so much WQ devs, I cant wait to get back to playing the game once I get a new pc :))
I thought I couldn’t love this game any more than I already do, but then they add CLUMSINESS to the pups and I’m ADDICTED
That is ABSOLUTELY adorable, and I am so excited!!
OMGG!! The little clumsy puppers and their very smol awoos 🥺
Thanks.
Que filhotes fofos!!! Vocês sempre trazem novidades incríveis para o WolfQuest! 😍
Love the new updates keep it up! Maybe next update you can have the other packs have pups so sometimes you can rade a riviles den to
so excited for the saga!! since the pups will keep growing and stuff, would they eventually leave the pack? like if a stranger wolf came by and was trying to encourage one of the pups to leave with them, would it be our job as the parent to chase them off? seems like such a cool mechanic!!!
Yes, many pups will disperse in hopes of finding a mate and starting their own pack. :D
Oh my gosh ! Im so glad pups are going to be more immersive!!!
Can’t wait for the Saga update keep
Up the good work on the updates and enjoy your day
