Here’s my video demo of the new G7th Heritage capo, it’s a fantastic design that really works - no rattles, buzzes or tuning issues. This is an expensive capo that sits alongside other similar designs in its price range but you already know that and to compare it to cheaper capos would be unfair and like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford. Ultimately only you can decide if it is worth it but for me as a performing and recording guitarist who has been seeking the perfect capo for over twenty five years it is a game changer!
Filming / editing looking great now Stupot. x
Figured out how to use the camera and lights...only took 5 years! Just in time...;)
Just ordered one of these for delivery in the US.
So far I've seen nothing but positive reviews. When you were doing the aggressive strumming I was waiting for the nonsense noises to start and none. And the intonation seems to hold up well across various fingerboards.
It's an expensive piece of equipment but I hope I will find it to be worth the investment.
It's great Jim, it doesn't introduce any string noise and the pitch and intonation remain perfect!
I wanna get the 18kt gold one with the engraving and custom text lol just wanted to make sure it works before dropping the cash
I guess that Gibson J45 had a 1.75 inch nut width. Does this standard size Heritage capo fit and close above the nut for storage. I have a Paige yoke capo that doesn't. Thanks.
Thanks for this video, very helpfull.
Which guitar are you playing with the spruce top where you are demonstrating the performance in the higher frets?
Hi Saitentanz, that one is a Circa 000 built by John Slobod. All the best! Stuart
I think its difficult to tighten it to the exact measure to prevent it going sharp
Then put it just above the fret mate
Have you tried this capo with a 12 string? I find that can challenge a capo and wonder whether the "gel" layer would solve this problem.
Hi Grant, I haven't unfortunately (I love 12 strings but have never owned one!). That's a good question to ask the guys at G7th though. The one they sent me is standard width so I don't think I would be able to test it on a 12 string.
We're a bit late to this reply, but we have specific 12 string capos now, including a Heritage! www.g7th.com/12-string
What size capo is this? Standard size or Large?
At 2'20" there's a tuning issue.
Tochiro Mifune not that I heard
The Elliot is even nicer but much more expensive…
I have the Elliot, it's a wonderful capo!
@@StuartRyanMusic Me too. Not sure if I like it better. You? It feels very light.
This is crap.. you can get a capo for a fiver to do for a 6 string guitar... its 12 string guitars that need
a decent capo, I'm yet to find one ??

This is an on fret capo.. totally pointless review!
An on fret capo?
