That is a SWEET truck dude! Nice work! Lotta hours and hard labor into that. Good job!
+Military Chevy Thanks man. Yeah it was a lot of work.
This conversion blew my mind. It is REALLY amazing. Wish I had the skill, time, and money. Great job man!
Thanks! I appreciate it. Now if only Diesel Power would open their damn eyes and put it in the magazine...
Hey! I met you last weekend! One of your biggest fans here! 😁 Your truck is pretty amazing & so are you! Such a talented & hard working man!
Very nice truck, I put the 454 in my Tahoe dozen years ago and now I’ve got a 12 valve coming to replace that.. solid axle.. great minds think alike 👍
I love the way your truck turned out, it looks and sounds amazing
this is amazing!! I love what you did suspension, and body wise. But a compound 12valve is what really gets me. Long live the 5.9!!!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
One of the coolest builds Ive ever seen. Great work! look forward to more videos
+Korbin Lindell Thanks. There will be another one coming soon with video within the video. Stay tuned!
To this day.....i watch this video not only for the craftsmanship of this beast of a truck....but because tdg is the theme for this video. Awesome video guys.

Yes it is. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely amazing build sir. It is my dream to build a truck in such depth and detail. Watching this build video gives me the motivation to keep focus on what I want to do. Thank you for posting this video.
+David McQueen Thank you and you are welcome. It is worth it in the end to have something so many people appreciate looking at it. Thanks for watching.
I would have liked to see an Allison 1000 series trans behind that Cummins . Nice truck !!
Totally Awesome! Looks excellent great work!
+Dan Soderholm Thank you!
5 years too late but that is one of the coolest trucks ive seen. I have the last year of that body style i bought 2 years ago with 32k original miles on it. Now that it just passed 100k ive been looking into a 12 valve conversion. Hopefully this winter
This truck is beautiful, good job on all the hard work! Its only worth the time put in and this beast is damn worth it.
+Nick Lonsbury Thanks. I appreciate it.
Crazy build. Great job
Hell yeah! This is the definition of Built not bought! Awesome work!
+DbrownVision Thank you!

+Jesse Hart Thank you!
Hey this is the guy that was at the gas station!! Me and my buds took a couple pictures of the truck. You were hauling the skid steer. Nice work bud!!!!
Yeah I remember you guys. Thanks. Catch up with me sometime if you want to see more of it.
that's epic and proud to have on the inside 2:43
What a build it looks amazing!!!!
+Bass Slayr Thanks!
4 minute video, none of which shows the truck running and driving.
I never thought of that, but that is true. It is a nice looking truck however.
Nice truck, just wish they showed it running and driving.
I just uploaded a walk around for now. I will upload another one with some towing soon. Thanks for watching guys.
Awsome conversion. Do u have any trouble towing the Gooseneck trailer. my truck is lifted and I want to buy a gooseneck for my buisness and get rid of the tag alongside. And by the way my tag alongs r Gator Made trailers also. Best trailers in the world.
Thanks. No problem at all pulling a gooseneck. The whole setup works really well. And I agree on the Gators. I've owned two of them.
now that is a very proper build. very nice work
Thanks a lot.
Sick dually bro
i like that build, my dream truck is all american, a 67-94 chevy ext cab long bed with a 12 valve cummins, and ford solid axels, lifted a few inches with decently meaty tires, mickey thomson rims and a nasty cam with some stacks
+SS4LiFe1488 You have to be careful with diesel cams. If its too big and you don't have the air and fuel, it will be a dog on the bottom end. Some of the bigger cams like a higher RPM range and that means a stronger rotating assembly which = $$$$$$$$.
+Chevrolet Cummins thanks for letting me know man, ive only gotten into chevy small and big blocks, have never been in a diesel before. im planning on rebuilding a 12 valve cummins with a 5 speed granny low tranny for my chevy one of these days, and ill put my 350 in an old muscle car of course! or better yet sell it and get a big block
Badass truck, very nice work!!!
Thanks! I appreciate it.
This thing is BAD ASS. One thing I did to my Suburban which I think would look great on your truck is to make the upper side markers functional.
+Grajeda Thank you. I will keep that suggestion in mind.
Awesome work...great looking rig....
+GOTDZUL Thank you!
You nailed that sob! Damn nice truck
Holy shit this truck is BAD to the BONE, long live the 12 valve Cummins!!!!!
My thoughts exactly... that's why I chose that engine. Thanks!
+Chevrolet Cummins please contact me :)
Very awesome and super clean its one bad ass truck, I'm not exactly a fan of your wheel and tire combo but then again I didn't put 1500+ hours into the truck so you do you.
+Pablo Picaso Thanks. For the deal I got on those wheels and tires, I didn't even consider any other options.
really nice truck man good work
+justin burdett Thanks.
Buddy that's a amazing build 100
Awesome build. I'm actually looking for the same truck to build. Just built a 84 squarebody dually 4x4.
Clean! I love my duramax but wanna get a Cummins dually one day.
+Chris Ragsdale Thanks.
Nice truck and great song choice
Thanks for watching. And thank you for your service to our country. Stay tuned... another video will be coming soon.
Beautiful Truck and awesome to go along with it
+The Beige Wonder Thank you.
Beautiful truck!
Pretty bad ass truck!
Now thats what a bulletproof truck looks like!
Sweet build man! We got a cummins swapped dually as well. Its not nearly as finished as your beast though! Did you keep the A/C? & if so how did you plumb it/make everything work?
Bad ass! Wish my Cummins Chevy was that clean... Someday... Mines a work in progri
+Derek Michael Thanks a lot!

Dude I love the truck👍👍
+Colten Broadwater Thanks. I appreciate it.

That's really impressive
+Peyton Neiman Thank you!
Muchas Felicidades Joven Por Su Canal
What did you use to mount the gauges in the overhead console?
Bet that costed a grip in parts, great work!👍
Very very nice job. The perfect truck.
@CHEVROLET CUMMINS where did you buy your lift from? looking for a lift for my 97 silverado dually having a hard time. great truck by the way
badass truck man
+lacombboy Thank you!
I’m going to be starting my own diesel build, with a 99’ Chevy crewcab single rear wheel, and I’m trying to figure out a few things before I start. Like what motor would be best?, LBZ 6.6l or 98’-99’ 5.9l 12-v,.. how to choose a transmission, and finally I guess. What kind of money am I looking into spending?
I think u did a kick ass job bro and keep it up
Thank you!
Sir your truck looks awesome
Thank you!
Seriously built hah, It's really cool you had the ability to turn the truck on it's side and spray the frame WOW how cool is that?
+Mikey Moo Thanks. There is not one square inch of this truck that has not been rust proofed.
Dope Truck man
+Zeppig123 Thanks. I appreciate it.
Do all of your gauges work? If you kept them factory. I just finished getting everything mounted in have to run fuel line and adapting the A/C. What kinks did you have once it was running? Great build by the way! A++
Everything but the speedometer works. I still have to figure out which wire from my transmission controller I need to splice to for a signal. I ran into a few kinks getting it going... mostly leaks from all the plumbing I added. Nothing too bad though.
So did you have to make/buy a custom transmission bell housing mount for this conversion? Im thinking about doing a Cummins conversion on my 1994 GMC.
I got mine from Destroked. You'll want to get their ring gear too. They are pricey but very nice quality pieces.
I have a 12v with a bad transmission an a Chevy 2500HD with a 4L80E Billet with a blown motor. Do the 4L80E handle the power good would you recommend it or say go with a different transmission Aswell as pulling with it ???????
Awesome build. Looks like that cummins came from factory in that rig
+T Brice Thank you!
Awesome!
Right on dude thank you
how do you like those mirrors? im ready to do the sas on my cclb. did you body lift for the cummins?
+Bobby Ilejay I love the mirrors. I bought the ones that had all the options like heated, turn signal/marker lights, telescoping and power. They will vibrate at highway speeds but I don't care. Just install them exactly how the directions say. There is a little metal bracket that MUST be installed to help eliminate vibrations. No body lift. The straight axle conversion gives about 5"-6" lift.
Perfect in all ways i love the body style great build man again perfect
+Korey Grant Thanks a lot!
Chevrolet Cummins you have my gears turning now i have been toying around with putting a cummins in my 07 chevy 2500
I have more time then money
+Korey Grant I cant give you much input on that conversion. If I would have found one of those cheap enough, it would have been in the video instead.
Mine was not cheap but it is a nv4500 5 speed trans it would mate with cummins with right set up but you are right i paid top dollar for this truck
Extended cab 8 foot bed rare rare
that truck kicks ass
+Kevvie Chevy (Kang E.O.F.) Thanks a lot!
sweet rig
+Chevy Padilla Thanks.
Awesome truck
+Hondarider 1399 Thanks!
someone hit the lottery?? WOW MINT!!!!!
How did you control the HE351VGT? I am going to use the same turbo on my compound set up with an HT60. Did you use an electronic control or are you running it off of the engines boost? Thanks,
Awesome truck by the way.
+Cole Berenyi The controller I am using now is basically a prototype to see what it took to control the vanes independently from an ECM like it is in the OEM setup. It doesn't use any boost pressure and is controlled by a switch in the cab to open and close the vanes. I am in the process of designing a different one that has more flexibility and can be used for just about any universal application with a 351VGT in any vehicle. As soon as I have one in hand that can be tested, I will post a video of it to see if there is an interest for it. Thanks for the compliment.
Wow! very very awesome..that is a beaut......wait I mean BAD ASS truck:) VERY COOL
Thanks a lot!
cool Truck ;-)
That was really great
+88bigbyrd Thanks!
What runs the ac? Stock GM computer? What did you do for guages? Did you make custom brackets for accessories?
I used the factory AC compressor on the Cummins. I just had to notch the frame. Stock computer but I've been told it's not needed so I'm not sure. I've used all the factory gauges and added more. The only accessory bracket I had to make was for the GM alternator.
This guy really a machine
Man 🤦🏾♂️ dream comes true 🔥🔥🔥🔥
wow really awesome project!
+Spacebar312 Thank you!
awesome love the diamond plate
Thanks! I questioned how it would look but I think it will work.
Do you have a parts list with part numbers of everything used to build the exhaust? I'm working on my truck now and not getting any information from vendors on what's needed for the conversion exhaust system.
I would have to do a lot of digging to find all that. I did use a 5" downpipe for an 07.5 Cummins and cut the angles so I could clock them. It's all 5" from the turbo back. I had to make my own 5" Y pipe then went to 4" to go over both sides of the frame, 90's up into the bed with stack breaker clamps. I also had to notch the fuel tank for clearance on the driver's side.
Love the attention to detail.......Only thing I would have done different is the exhaust out the rear right.....One hell of a a job though.
+Chad Gronsten Thank you. The only way I could have went with exhaust out the rear is if I did without a spare tire. Otherwise, the 5" exhaust pipe would have been clearly visible and I didn't want that.
A 5.9 8.3 or 6.7 doesn't need 5...The ol 855's and ISXs run 5..I always thought it was hard to make 5 look clean, especially on older pickups that don't have the room to work with.
Wow whata beautiful truck😍
Thank you!
Sick. Now its a real truck
Thank you!
This thing is bad ass!
WELL DONE
+Don Sears Thanks a lot!
the fucking semis are killer dude, nice truck
