Just bought myself a 22 plate TTS. I really craved the TTRS but it was just too much of a reach for me. The TTS though is an awesome car, proper quick and the grip is epic. Drove it 200 miles today on a mix of motorway and really twisty B roads and it never put a wheel wrong, even though I left Glasgow at -5c. Yeah, proper good car and the 320BHP is plenty to handle. This will be my last ever car so I am so pleased I went for it!
@@samirpapito6402 It loves petrol if you put the boot down, I think I’ve had 13 ltrs/100 kilometres, using dynamic mode might even be more. I think some reviews have said it’s possible to get 30 miles taking it easy. In my experience so far driving in stop start urban, city driving, twisty roads etc it is hard on petrol. I’ve only had my MK3 TTS about 5 weeks now and I’ve saw a tank of fuel last only a week. The thing is this is a car that it is very difficult not to go quick in, it’s the nature of the thing, its like having a CBR1000RR (which I have had) and thinking you’ll take it easy.
@@samirpapito6402not a clue, an example on the motorway doing 70mph🤔🙄 220 mile journey uses 1/2 a tank driving sensibly, if you rip it the majority of the way going into sport a few times it will use a full tank, hope that helps

Drove one of these for 3 years. Loved it. Luxury appointments, tons of torque, and got plenty of eyeballs. I put a Stage 1 tune on it and it turned the car into a whole different animal. But as great as it was it wasn't an RS, which is why I sold it and bought a '21 TT RS.

Cool video. I actually went from a 2009 MK2 TTS to a 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4. So I think I answered your question LOL. But that being said I loved my MK2 TTS, definitely a fun car to drive, very easy for someone that wants a sporty drive but isn't an expert driver. It does have a decent amount of oversteer but generally pretty balanced. And I sure miss that amazing boot it had, it was the best car for my wife and I to take road trips in. Also I think the TT RS is more of a supercar replacement, that's the one with the 2.5L 5cyl engine which is basically half my Gallardo's engine. Also wanted to say great editing on this video, really good style overall. Keep it up!
I have had TTS for a year and I can say that it is a precise scalpel! Master of corners and wet surfaces, very reasonable fuel consumption considering the power of 310 hp. Every morning I smile while driving to work

If I have the money to burn I would obviously take the lambo. But in that case I'll just take the TTRS and still bank a bagload of cash. The 5 cylinder is a masterpiece.
Have a Mk2 TTs Black Edition with a Pipercross filter & Revo stage 1 remap which takes it to a very civilised 316bhp. Fuel economy is better than stock but its a proper weapon on the back roads. I love it.
My 2019 TTS is currently stage one apr plus and other few upgrades with 400+hp- I'm going stage 3 pretty soon it should be 450HP on the wheels and 0-60mph below 3secs easily
I have a MK2 3.2 with a manual transmission. I never get tired of driving it, best engine VW ever made. I’ve been looking at the MK3, but I just wouldn’t be happy with the DSG or the 4cyl.
The only Gallardo I would have is the Balboni. The TT styling has improved greatly over the years. I'd go for a TTs then slam on some DTM style mods, wide arch racing kit, rear wing etc followed by some bolt on engine mods and you have the perfect daily driver/track car........... in my opinion.....
Very entertaining review. I want one. I have a 2002 Mk1 and a 2007 Roadster Mk2 TT. Both are gorgeous to look at from every angle, rare, reliable, fun to drive, well built and designed. Ticks all the classic boxes. I will be looking for a Mk2 TTS and eventually a Mk3 TTRS to complete the collection.
In my case, definitely the TTS, because I have only one place in my underground carpark and I need an all-year car. So I've choosen the 2020 TTS Competition All-Black. I can use it as a daily car the whole year. Of course, the 18 inch rims with winter tyres are not that sexy as the 20 inch black 10Y rims for summer but they make it to a reasonably, sporty all-ear car (in Austria with snow in winter). Also there's plenty of space in the TTS (for 2 persons) and I even can go on a one week skiing holiday. The TTRS would have a better sound and is a little faster, but it's not worth the approx. 20k Euro price difference in Austria. Also I would have had to wait for more than a year and the TTS was available immediately at the car dealer. My conclusion is, the TTS is the most reasonable all-year sportcar and with the all-black competition package very good looking.
It's on my shortlist, should I decide to get rid of my Merc in the near future. Looking for a vehicle which has got a nice driving experience with some practicalities like a decent size boot for my golf clubs and electric trolley. Alternatively a sporty SUV like the Macan or SQ5 might tick the right boxes. Budget allowing I might consider a cheaper SUV and an older sports car like the Boxster. So many choices it's mind boggling. Thanks for the Video, very informative and entertaining.

I found my self in your shoes just 7 months ago. I was looking at a 2011 audi s5 4.2L and a audi r8 with a 4.2L. Needless to say I went with the S5 and used the saved money to fix everything so it was 100% up to date on maintance. Nothing will ever beat a turn key car no matter how nice it is broken and your pockets are empty.
Although the Audi TTS is a great car, I’ve owned a 2014, and a 2022. The 2022 was great, however it’s not a TTRS. I found a 2021 very low mileage TTRS. With a tune and an intake, it always puts a smile on my face hearing that five cylinder sing.
You get a used TT RS and put $10k in it you’re running low tens and on a perfect day you’re running a high nine second Quarter mile from dead stop! I’m just saying in regards to speed it’s hard the be better then the DSG transmission. Most cars faster then the 5cycl paired with the DSG are far north of $100k facts.

Sadly this isn't my car lol. Wish it was though
Hi Dave glad to join you other channel 👌👍👍
Cheers Paul 🙏
I think the M2 TTS is a better looking than the latest Mk3. It was clearly very difficult to facelift.
Although the Audi TTS is a great car, I’ve owned a 2014, and a 2022. The 2022 was great, however it’s not a TTRS. I found a 2021 very low mileage TTRS. With a tune and an intake, it always puts a smile on my face hearing that five cylinder sing.
im always smiling in my Audi
Turn it up a notch and get the TTRS, 5 cylinders is music to the ears!
Why not the TTRS? Does the TTS have more modifications?
I didn't have one at the time 😉
I would like the TTS
Great video hopefully I get the car in 5 months I’ll be back😂 to tell
Thanks very much. They are fantastic cars
the r8 has taken inspiration from the TT****
100%
Man Audi has some seriously solid cars. Yeah I'll take the Audi and put 70k into the motor and have an absolute ROCKET SHIP of a car.
Yeah I'd love to get one for myself. Quite like the s5
I had the previous tts and best car I ever had, and I am looking for another Tts.
I been looking at an s5 may get one soon
TTS with APR Stage 1 is 🚀
definitely
Great review, but what is a Lambo "Indivia"? Should that be Invidia?
Technically yes but if I titled the video Audi better than indivia people may not of watched it
I seen a video of a tt smoking an r8 in a race
Great review
Thank you 🙏
TT the best !!
I tested it, no chance against a Porsche GT3. ;)
The audi tt is a really gorgeous car

TT S please! I'm no Rock Star.
It's plenty good enough :)
I’d buy the Audi, and keep the change lol
Definitely 👌
306hp is mine. Facelift 7/2019
💯
I would prefer the Audi TT and drive it everyday
Definitely my 2007 MK2 is such a blast
Great video
Thanks Mike
Love it bro
Cheers Pete
TT hands down
100%
Picking my new one up next Saturday. Straight down to apr for a remap. Rs just means higher bills at Audi.

Awesome!!
Definitely an Audi fan here…
I wasn't at first but now I'm sold
