Probably be a 3yr pcp with 5k deposit, if you buy the car at trade price you could drive that for 6 months at least and get your money back when you sell it
Rob T doesn’t sound that bad for a 4 cylinder. If you hear one on the road, you will hear that it sounds very good. JE is paying £140 a month for this. It’s peanuts. For a TTRS your looking at a £500 a month finance deal at a minimum. Plus JE’s TTS is now turned. Very similar performance

I'm looking at these now on auto trader and this milage and age are going for 22-27k and he got this for sub 20 when it was 3 years younger! Where do these deals come from!? I imagine it was cheap for the time too regardless of the market
I think people are getting the wrong end of the stick about the finance. He hasn’t taken out a loan big enough to buy the car and paid the rest as a deposit. It will be a PCP or hire purchase type deal. Imagine the list price was £20k, the finance company will have worked out the residual value after say 2 years. Because the car is 2nd hand, good spec etc, it may only lose £5k over 2 years. So will be worth £15k. Imagine James has put a deposit of £1500, that leaves £3500 to finance over the 2 years (usually 23 months, deposit being the first month) =£152 a month. Figures not quite right but you get the idea. Cheap motoring, that’s why people finance / lease cars. You just need to find something that won’t depreciate much - theirs don’t as much, because they can get at trade prices. TGE has explained it previously in videos. 👍🏻

There are a lot of younger and easily influenced people following you. This could send the wrong signals for them to congregate on Industrial Estates and discuss cars. I hope you can see where I am coming from. It has to look right to the public. No need for your James to be there.

Enjoyed the video. But endorsing Revolut didn't age well. Too many of their customers have had their accounts hacked (to the tune of over $20m) and Revolut does not refund defrauded customers as it isn't signed up to the Contingent Reimbursement Model Code.

Another UA-camr I watch actually owns a 2015 TTS as well, and it's even Daytona Grey, and with the manual gearbox. But as opposed to the red leather interior, his has the black. I believe Tom's actually met him before, his UA-cam name is Syndicate
Someone I know personally used to have one. He had the fastest 1/4 in the UK 10.45s. unfortunately the car is now dead after a tree had a fight with it. Made 550bhp with a lot of work (good brake kit and coilovers are a must) keep it for longer than summer and make it a proper project car and push for higher power, would be good content. I’m sorry £140 a month my 64 plate fiesta ST is £200 🙃😂
Been using revolut for over year. Can't recommend it enough. Best thing is the free trades and bitcoin built into the app. Everytime you pay for a round at the bar people always ask where you can get the metal card from

A couple of serious questions for once. If you "mod" your car aren't you obliged to tell your Finance/Lease company as technically they still own it? Same with the insurance? (I wouldn't like a prang in a £100k car to find they won't payout.) I watched a UA-cam video where a finance company tried claim payment as the guy had "materially changed" his car? Finally, what did JE mean? If he pays for the car early does he get a cheap/trade price thus enabling him to sell it and potentially make a profit??? 🤔 Keep up the good work and keep safe.
i own a mk1 tts 2004 225 its really nice but constant fixing stuff costing me so much i should have bought a new mk3 tts by now instead. so thinking about selling it and buying one of these. i saw people trying to sell used mk2 tts for $30,000 usd they are out of their minds yes its nice but for 30k it better be a mk3 or a mk2 ttrs. people selling cars are out of their minds same with houses right now. i think a mk3 tts from 2016-2020 should be about 25k used with 50k miles ish would be a fair deal. i wonder what you paid for this back 4 years ago?
