    This is so strange- 2 days ago Amazon dropped a load of parcels outside my house by accident. I went around delivering them to the houses. I found myself on a dead end road alone at a house far away from the main road. For the first time ever I considered what a risky job this is. 😢

      Amazon sometimes delivers a package to the wrong address... But for them to deliver SEVERAL wrong packages that were supposed to be for MULTIPLE different houses to your address? Yeah... BS. Especially since they need to take pictures and confirm delivery. A mistake can happen with ONE address that is similar. But not with several completely different addresses... The delivery driver would realize the mistake immediately when noticing that it was not the same information on one package compared to another... Stop lying.

    I was a witness in a murder case very similar. Pizza delivery guy was set up, delivered to the house across the street from me. Once he arrived, they tried to rob him, so he sped off, they shot him in the head. He crashed into fence and died. I had to testify in court, had news people stalking me, and constantly ringing my doorbeIl. It got so bad that I had to go stay at my moms for a couple of weeks. It was a really sad case.

      I’ve been a pizza delivery driver for 5 years now and I swear the amount of people who have invited me in their house, no thank you. I keep an air tag in the side of my shoe, I always have my apple watch on not to say the wouldn’t notice it, keep my knife on me, always have a flash light for the night time ones, etc. I try my best to be safe but it is scary. Dominos was the scariest to deliver for. they make you do that hotspot delivery and meet people at places. I had to meet truckers at truck stops and they’d try to get me to drive up to their rig, like no idgaf if you don’t tip me you’re coming in this well lit truck stop around all these witnesses to get your food. Hotels always creeped me out too when men would be like just step inside and I’ll grab that money. no thank you you go ahead and get it or steal the pizzas idc I’m not going in your hotel room. I am blessed I live in a very safe town, but things happen any and everywhere so I try to stay vigilant. I’m not personable enough to be a server or I totally would but I do good at just the “hi how are you? good to hear that, here’s your food and you guys have a good night. thank you!” like that’s my copy paste speech for all of them lol I don’t do good with longer interactions I get awkward af lol 😂

Now he left without a ride past midnight... Who knows if he can find another Uber at that hour. I would be yelling and trying to chase your friend down as well...

      this particular case doesn't prove that AT ALL; its not like she was murdered by a stranger whose house she was sent to while doing her job. if chad and erica didn't "lure" her through job, they likely would've gotten to her some other way. I was a delivery driver for a small company in the early days of food delivery apps (that went bankrupt because they paid the drivers a great hourly wage on top of delivery fees and tips, while not yet having enough customers to support it) and I was never in danger. I was also delivering in the city because that was the only place the app was available. many of these neighborhoods were technically ntot the safest, and the only time I ever felt a bit scared was because someone told me I had to walk in the door (their apartment was on the second floor of what looked like a normal house) I was apprehensive because the light had burned out in the foyer area, but it ended up being fine. there are much more dangerous jobs for women. uber/lyft, for example, is much more dangerous since you are trapped in a car with them.

    For clarification, as a female veteran I can explain the custody requirements for mothers going into the military. Full custody has to be given to the father or other parent. If the father does not want custody a grandparent can take custody. After basic training and advanced individual training you are able to get custody again. But you still have to have a custody agreement for deployments. The military is not a good answer for anyone who doesn't have a good co-parenting situation.

      This is important info, and I know workers are super overloaded, but when I had to call them bc a kid I was working w/ was being abused by both parents, physically (his mom fed him food that was spicy to an abusive extent, and his respite care worker and I both strongly suspected the dad was sexually assaulting him. Significant circumstantial evidence like unexplained time together in the bathroom, and he would constantly fuss and pet over him, despite the kid’s obvious aversion. CPS came…they just called first, to tip off the parents! Twice!! I was crushingly disappointed bc I risked my job to try and save him, for nothing.

    • @nicolepsy
      @nicolepsy Місяць тому +2

      Same. I never dealt with a CPS worker that wasn't 100% working for the best interests of the child. Judges are too far removed from the physical reality of the child's life. Not everything is cut and dried or black and white, especially where children are concerned.

    • @ScubaWitch2021
      @ScubaWitch2021 29 днів тому +4

      Thank you so much for this because I am a CPS worker and every single state does things differently. It’s also important to know that parents have the right to refuse us access and we cannot just remove a child without the judge granting that and a parent can also go to trial on that removal. There’s so much information that the public doesn’t know about CPS. And I’m not saying that there aren’t circumstances where there’s negligence just like any job police officer, judicial, nurses, etc. but I work with some amazing people who fight that fight every day to ensure the safety well-being of kids.

    • @keepitreal86
      @keepitreal86 29 днів тому

      Yeah I have to disagree the CPS system is corrupt and legal kid trafficking. They always take the good parents kids away that made a simple mistake but give the parents back their kids to the one that was being abused neglected smh

    When I was in high school (I think around 2011/2012), 3 students robbed a pizza delivery at gun point in our small sleepy town. If I remember correctly, they shot him but he lived. He was actually another student’s dad.
    It was big news for a while and part of the reason that anytime I’ve had to do delivery jobs, I refused to do them at night.

      Why would someone risk their freedom by robbing a delivery driver?? Especially a pizza delivery driver?? They use to advertise that they only carried $20 in change…for this reason. It’s not worth it. And 2011 on, most people use CC. So what are they gaining?? Sorry to vent on your post, it’s just asinine. (Not your post…the fact that people rob delivery drivers lol)

    I remember hearing about Ashley,s case and how horrific the scene was when they saw Ashley's body in her car. Chad and Erica were as " evil " as they come, especially bringing the daughter of the person who you are murdering and your own children as well. This just blows my mind. I remember Chad was the one who asked his Mom, Cindy, to record Erica's involvement in her part of the crime while he was in jail. I'm glad that justice was served for Ashley and her Momma and Grace. The worst part is that Grace was old enough to remember what happened to her Momma (Ashley), and she did have to endure a lot of Erica's torture for a little girl who did nothing wrong at all. It's always the children who suffer the most in all these cases. I hope that they all are thriving and doing well and have a healthy relationship and a bright future ahead! May God bless them all! Thank you, Annie and team for all your hard work on this case.

      They don’t even cancel it. They give you instructions on how to. It’s a huge scam. I’m not sure why anyone promotes it. I gave it a good 6 months, and it’s a complete and total waste of money. The only upside that they don’t promote is if you do find out that it helps but it’s not worth the money you pay, you can negotiate the monthly price with them and pay as little as 4 bucks a month.. but it’s really not even worth that.
