I literally roll my eyes every single time he talks… it’s always about HIM. He is selfish, arrogant and full of himself. I seriously pray and pray the whole truth will come out and he will have to be held accountable for his actions. @jelam3390 the police officers in his county gave him a special badge that says his name on it so he can get by on speeding tickets amongst other things. I think this goes much deeper than we all know. Thankfully the FBI is on it or else Mica would never get justice! He's buddies with local law enforcement, money talks.

I perceived it differently, I felt like he was implying Mica had negative things to say about people “Mica said this and that, Mica told me everything, we will see who Mica was” meant ultimately Mica wasn’t a very nice person (I’m not saying she wasn’t!!) and he’s going to share all of her venting with the world. The fact he kept messages and has complied them to use is something I had to deal with. If I said a bad word about anyone or anything just in venting “Gosh my sister is so annoying” (for cancelling plans) that would be used against me.m as if I hated my sister now. Anything Mica vented or shared to her trusted husband is going to be used against her, out of context and to hurt every single person that loved her. This is what narcissists do!

I must mention I seriously did her a faint masculine voice at the beginning of Micas 911 call. AI? Coerced? Manipulated by a classic narcissist is what I sense fully completely. He is a dangerous man. Investigators need to take off the rose colored glasses and realize this case for what it truly is. R.I.P. Mica. I'm sad knowing whole heartedly what you lived through. I have often wondered about the weird pauses in the call. I heard other people say it was AI generated. How are there multiple gun shells and the gun found many feet away from the body?

I went to Solid Rock for TWO years. When JP found out I was a single mom he would say inappropriate things to me. In the beginning I tried to laugh it off he would say things like well maybe I could hook you up with this good looking pastor but he might be married. And I’d just laugh and move on. He would say things in front of Mica and she’d just smile even though you could tell she was visibly uncomfortable. He would always try and catch me at the nursery door when I’d be picking up my son. I could definitely see him having one the church vultures do it for him. Especially the ones that look at him like he is GOD in the flesh.

I believe he weaponized their spirituality. I also watched something where JP changed the sermons & was basically playing God making up his own sermon. Those people were in a cult. They were brainwashed & he used coercive control with them. A lot of people did leave the church & JP stalked and threatened them. He was psychotic. Each person who left was less money in his bank account. He saw his congregation as a cash cow. A way to get rich and stay rich. He wasn't preaching God's word, this was the JP show.

There's a fairly large church for the small town that I live in. The pastor's brother (a Deacon or something ) and brother's wife were indicted for repeatedly molesting and raping a small child. Most of the congregation stands firmly by the abusers. Funds from the pastor and/or the church were used to bail them out. I'm not 100% sure about the bail money but that's what has been said. I wasn't even surprised when church members stood by him. I remember them defending the Dugger guy tooth and nail on social media. It becomes more obvious every year that church has almost nothing to with God or Jesus and everything to do with being a member of the same club.
Scary weird and horrible. This guy is so unhinged. They should have sent him packing years ago. 😮

As someone who has been abused and was "told" to get a tattoo for means of manipulation, I can assure this wretched man that this is, in fact, something someone being abused would do.

A friend of mine just had a lot of tattoos covered, removed since her highly dangerous & abusive ex husband tied her up and did the tattooing himself.
I attended Solid Rock church briefly. He was always aloof to the congregation, as were others in authority.
He had purchased a very nice and spacious new home. The congregation arranged for an open house at his new home where donations were encouraged. The home was already very nicely decorated and he didn't seem to be in need of anything. He had his 5 children there and I thought maybe he needed financial help for them. It was taboo to ask what happened to his first marriage. He didn't speak with us while we were there, not even to thank us for coming or the money we gave him.
We participated in several of the ministry events held by others in the church at the church building. He was in the building (a fairly small facility) and would sometimes pass through, but didn't exchange any pleasantries.
I found the behavior of leadership and the teaching to be off. We didn't attend for long.
Sounds like a cesspool of abusers and psychopaths who wouldn’t do anything to discipline JP since the rest of them are probably no better or even worse.

THIS! This right here! I think back to my reactions the at the time I thought were “me being crazy” and see no, it was me REACTING to abuse and being painted by my ex as crazy & controlling.
JP gives mental health a bad name. I worked in Psychiatry treating patients and almost all of our patients were being abused in similar situations. That's the only reason they were seeking/needing help. We knew what was going on and provided a safe place for validation. Narcs don't usually seek therapy/treatment unless they are court ordered or using it to fight their victim in court. People like JP are the biggest reason for the mental health crisis in America. You are not alone and having lived this myself, you are NOT crazy, you're just surrounded by it.

He lied to my face, made me feel like I was crazy, made ME feel like it was ME IN THE WRONG and that HE shouldn’t trust me, completely gaslit me, and had me so confused. I decided to check his phone a few days- a week later to settle my mind. I found a lot of evidence that he WAS in fact cheating. No it isn’t right to secretly go through someone’s phone but sometimes for your own sanity--it is necessary.

Apparently JP's lawyer owns land right next to the park where she supposedly shot herself. I strongly believe he did it or made her do it with her hand while he forced it. A fisherman passing by said he heard whimpering before the bang. A lawyer would know how to do it, how to get away with it, how to get a tracking device on her car. And why would she drive all the way up there? Check traffic cameras.

But the Bible tells us not to forsake the assembly…meaning we do need to fellowship and learn from our fellow Christians. Our Pastor would be shown the door if he did any ONE of these things. Furthermore, all workers with kids have to have background checks. Our Pastor has an oversight committee and also he has accountability to the Denomination . There is oversight to all of us teachers as well.
Praying to find the right church has never failed me and my family. The Bible is clear as to how to know when someone, Pastor or not, is not walking up rightly AND what to do if they aren’t.
This man may call himself a Pastor and the congregation may call itself a church, but they did not act per the Bible. He had been rumored about, he had an affair with the lady whose husband died, he groomed Mica…there are so many red flags and the members of the congregation are also responsible for allowing him to be their leader. They all have much to answer for.
One issue I see is that he and his father “owned” the church. It was a private church.
Ours is not. Our Pastor doesn’t hold the deed to our church, even though he did initially found it. He went to school, got ordained in our denomination and that was over 30 years ago. This “pastor” and his dad apparently did what they wanted to do and had no accountability.

I was with a narcissist. I started going out with him, but didn't know exactly what a narcissist was. One thing that most people do not realize is most of them are highly intelligent and are very good at manipulation and controlling people. I am not saying that I am dumb or anything. I was highly intelligent in school. They have a intelligence of a different kind and on a different level that normal people would not understand, unless you have been around one. One day the guy I was going out with, looked me straight in the eyes and said " I am smarter than you will ever be". I realized that he was right in the end because I did not have the heart or the manipulation tactics to hurt someone like he did.

He was relentless with Mica, she tried everything to fight him off but lost her battle. No one should have to deal with such torture.

So I left a low drama marriage after 16 years and immediately met someone who turned out to be a malignant narcissist. I married him 3 months after meeting him, thinking he was my dream partner. I’m giving this background because I want to say that even if JP didn’t physically pull the trigger, he’s the cause of death. After I married my now ex, he completely changed. He stopped working, controlled my every move, down to where and when I was allowed to have my phone. He not only stalked me, while I was married to him, I found out he was still involved with his ex. I later found out he was stalking multiple exes of his, even the one he was cheating on me with. When he was caught cheating he responded that he just wanted to drive her to suicide. He said that would be reaching an ultimate goal, because he could kill someone without being legally responsible. He also said he wished all of his exes dead. When I was understandably shocked he tried to act like he was joking. Why did he want all his exes dead? He literally had no particular reason. He used to always tell me I should kill myself and bring up personal things I shared with him. He told other people I had mental health problems when I never did, despite his abuse. He would pull those same antics, throwing himself to the ground, sobbing, begging, threatening suicide, any time I wanted to leave. I was with this man less than 1 year and when I tell you it was devastating to my life I can’t overstate that. I lost all my belongings, left a great job, he cost me everything. In the end I did get away with my life and that’s the most important thing. I have since rebuilt and worked on why I even got involved with a narcissist like him to begin with. I’m doing great but that’s the exception after this type of abuse and devastation. When I was serious about leaving him he assaulted me so viciously he got a 5 year prison sentence. It was the first time (and last) he ever hit me. I was the first woman to pursue charges on him, all the others were terrified of him. I talked to multiple exes and we all shared similar stories of the extreme mental abuse and exhaustion dealing with this man. These types of people get off on mentally abusing their victims. I do believe my ex would’ve had the ultimate thrill if he could’ve gotten someone to the point of suicide. He wasn’t kidding about that. I believe that’s what JP did to Mica. I thought of my ex immediately when I heard this story. I don’t know how JP can be held accountable, but he killed her for sure, one way or another.

Instructing a church to listen in silence and leave in silence is not rare. My childhood has been littered with that situation.
From her videos of her talking , the 911 call tells me she was probably forced to make that call at gunpoint .. sounds like she was trying to give the dispatcher hints that something was off , the low voice , the no tears , sounds more fearful than sad or depressed . If said witness heard someone crying but she wasn't crying on the phone call.. don't you think she'd have been crying on the 911 call while saying I want my family to know where to find me or I'm going to unalive myself ?! This is Why I don't go to churches too many wolves in sheep's clothing God does warn about ....a bunch of man made religion that MALES abuse beyond words and I have my own stories about abuse within churches and the families within them , my own vile family included !

Growing up, there was a pastor in my area that used the pulpit to shame anyone who did not agree with all of his plans, especially financial plans for the church. It got so bad the governing body of Baptist churches in the area removed him, not just from that church, but from their organization as a whole. He then tried to start his own independent church. In the small towns in the area, being a pastor was part time, and all had to have a non church job as well. Not this guy. He refused to do another job as it would “interfere with his ability to tend his flock.” Of course, he could work out 6 hours a day, do no house or yard work, and no child care (3). All financial, household, medical and child care responsibilities were left to the wife, who had to follow his orders without input or question. He was verbally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically abusive to the whole family. Coercion was constant. There are many JPs out there.
I did find it interesting in his first statement at church when he told the congregation Mica had passed he still told them to make sure they gave money. I'm like wow really?! Still gotta add that in?!
Cause people want to kick God out this is what happens. It WILL get worse. Whether people want to believe it or not satan is real. He's dragging as many souls to hell with him as he can. In Texas, in 2021 at my final divorce hearing the judge asked each male from every case before mine if they agreed to allow their ex wife to change their name back to their maiden name. Thankfully the men had all said yes and my ex husband didn’t show up so idk what would have happened had anyone said no but I was blown away that I needed my ex husbands permission to change my name back.
