Well, you have friends here at 10 to life.. And those of us that see or hear you, just know YOU do matter.. you don’t have to worry about being bullied by us.. and who’s perfect at least you graduated high school I didn’t but I got my GED. I was a successful small business owner and I have ADD as I am over 50 that was not diagnosed very much back in the 80s. Have they would’ve caught that for me. I think I would’ve finished school as long as I was on my medication. I’m on it now and my life is so much easier. So nobody’s perfect. A lot of us have one or more of the same issues in your list so it’s OK, we are the ones that will not judge my friend.

The reason people use the phrase God told me is because there is no way to double check! I'm from Fresno where this happened. I remember being so horrified by what these poor children endured. The house this happened at has been torn down.

Please do a story on ex-cop, Elias Huizar. Yesterday, he murdered his ex-wife at a elementary school and underage girlfriend at his home! Kidnapped their one year old baby, then took the cowards way out when he was caught.
This happened where I live and it was constantly on the local news. This left such an emotional impact on my mind and heart that has stuck with me throughout all these years. Those poor babies.
It is really wild when she makes a video talking about the tragic event. We've had several tragic events that happened in our city or in our state and she ends up giving us more information. It's so sad because our city is in mourning and being able to sit down and hear about it and end up being national news as wild..
Unfortunately the news causes lots of trauma in its endless quests for more viewers. They make these type of stories as terrifying and gruesome as possible so people keep watching

My husband is in his thirties. His entire back is covered in deep scars from an extension cord from a stepdad that his mother allowed. He has now been diagnosed with NPD. He has no emotion and I have been in therapy for 2 years for surviving narcissistic abuse. These mothers are ruining their son and daughter's lives
I live in Fresno where the murders happened. I used to wait on him. He came into the restaurant that I worked at. My good friend worked for the coroners office he had to pick up the nine bodies of the kids that where killed. He was so traumatized he quit . I still do not understand why Elizabeth Wesson was not held accountable she knew what was going on.
I've always thought Elizabeth should of faced some charges also, at the very least, child abuse and neglect

I live in Fresno and I was 9 years old when this happened in our city. I was horrified. Til this day, every time I pass by the spot where their house was, (has been demolished now) I can't help but think about the kids and all the individuals that passed away that day. That guy is one really sick and twisted person.

You need a part two. He would have the kids outside in the middle of the night cleaning the old school bus they used to drive around in. And building coffins as he had one for each of them. They would cook outside at like midnight. The home itself was not made for residential it was an office. I don’t remember how he managed to rent it but. The home was demolished and the lot still sits empty. Unfortunately it seems like our community forgot about this horrible massacre. It still remains in my mind …every time I drive in that direction to visit family. He and the was believe it or not…a nice guy in person. The girls never spoke. His sons though were allowed to play outdoors with other boys. I could go n and on….its sad as the kids were murdered as police stood outside surrounding the home. The girls were screaming so loud as no one was able to do anything
So while the cops were there and everyone was fussing, this guy was able to go in and shoot 9 people? What the heck
I’m a survivor of SA as an infant. I’m currently in treatment for the mental health aftermath of my very first memory. I could never harm any living being (no promises for offenders though) let alone a child like me. Learning from the Annie’s Book of seeing something and saying something. Just an hour ago I tried to make a report to CPS: I’d seen a little girl’s (maybe even a baby’s) in the middle of the sidewalk soiled with what looked like blood and other fluids. At first, I froze, paralyzed , flashbacks flooding my mind. Then I took photos of everything and called. The person from CPS told me that they couldn’t make a report without the alleged victim full name even after I told them the circumstances. So now they won’t take it seriously unless you have that much information? Considering that many ab*se cases take place in the privacy and secrecy of the predator’s home, how can we help? I felt victimized all over again but this is not about me… I’ll never stop thinking about the little girl and I can’t unsee what I saw earlier this morning… 15:42

I’m from Fresno and I remember that day lividly… I was cleaning my room and It came on the news, the reporter started sobbing, I remember crying when I seen the little bodies being removed from the house, it was shown on the news. I believe there’s footage of it on UA-cam
This reminds me of the case of the girl in the basement. Which the father locked his daughter in the the basement for 24 years. Assaulted her all those years and have kids with her own daughter. So sick!! 🤢🤢

I lived in Fresno, CA when this happened just a few miles away from the crime scene. There is lots of video footage of this playing out in real time that is chilling. The house has since been bulldozed. There is an interesting side story about a news reporter who ended up losing her job because she (unprofessionally) developed a bond with some of the children and even ended up fostering/mentoring them.
This happened close to my work. I remember hearing tons of sirens on that day and not thinking much since we are in the ghetto. I felt so sick once we found out what happened 😔 I get reminded of the crazy people out in this world when I hit that corner a see the lot. They knocked down the house. Just an empty lot now.

Ok this is gonna sound weird but i have HORRIFIC insomnia from medical C-PTSD and chronic + Acute pain. And last night was pretty bad. Finally slept this afternoon and waking up to your vid dropping was kinda just what i needed. I know, using true crime to soothe mental pain, spoon depletion and distracting from pain but between your on point sass, honest human reactions and awesome research, really, your content helps me more than i could wish. So thank you. Especially extra thank you when considering the respectful way about which you represent the lives of the victims and for how hard you work even post surgical and with two wee bairnes! Ok I’ll shut up with the cringe now but I just wanted to say thanks again because the work you and your team do, really make an impact on more levels than you think.

This happened in my community. I’ve spent some time socially with one of Marcus’ sons. He seems like he is thriving - building a healthy life in spite of everything. He’s a fun guy to be around.

My friend lived down the street from him when we were 14 and we would drive by his house on the way to visit her. This story was horrific.

I've lived in Fresno my whole life and I was 19 when this happened. I remember seeing him with his little vest on.. what a sad little coward who had control those he "loved"
I worked at UMC when the prison brought him there, He was so mean to the staff and him and his hair was so dirty and gross, But he didn't let us bathe him and refused to clean himself at all. He was so big no way was he only eating veggies like he made those kids do. Such a sad case.
@valoriewarehime167 exactly! A family friend was one of the sheriff's that transported him a couple of times and said the same exact thing. I hope the surviving family got the help they so desperately needed and has been able to have some kind of "normal" life, if that's even possible.

The chills I got just seeing the title! I remember this ! I’m actually from where this happened and I use to see him at the stores and my mom and I always felt VERY uncomfortable whenever we’d see him. It’s horrible! This story has stayed with me since it broke the news.
Thanks #annieelise I was sexually abused as a child and I would never in a million years hurt a child and instead would do anything I could to protect any innocent child. My partner was stabbed 17 times by her best friends step-dad whom she had known and trusted as a second father figure since she was 3...he then randomly attempted to S-a her and instead stabbed her 17 times all while she was getting woken up out of her sleep when she was 28 yrs old and she is living w so many health issues and ptsd snd trauma but she still would never hurt a soul not even her abuser! So i honestly don't understand how people use past trauma as an excuse to hurt someone else innocent 😢 ill never understand man
Just YESTERDAY less than a mile from my house, a famiy of 5 was found dead. The dad killed his wife and then went after his three boys. I just don't understand how a parent could do that to his family. It's just evil.

I lived in the area when this happened. None of us were ever the same and the coffins are still in police custody and they hate going near them and say it's haunting.

I was living in Fresno when this happened...on my birthday of all days. It was heartbreaking to watch it unfold on the news. The office building where they lived was torn down after this tragedy, leaving behind an empy lot that’s eerie to look at.
Shortly after, I would see one of his sons at a restaurant where he was a bartender. He always seemed so jovial...as if this tragedy never occurred.
This all jumped off with a mother unwilling to protect herself and her kids from a sick man. If Rose had done what she should have and not kept in contact with Marcus once he became abusive to both her and her children, then maybe this whole situation at least with her and her children may not have happened. Plus, once Marcus ran off with the at the time 15 year old daughter Rose again failed by not calling the cops on him and getting her child away from him. It's so messed up. But, I guess if she was so brainwashed by then, then things still sadly would have played out the same.

I live in Fresno where this crime happened, before he committed this crime I ran across him in a store, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I had to leave the store because he had such an evil omen about him it made me physically ill.

Last night on TVs Wheel Of Fortune there was a man that looked just like their father, tall, Afro way out and grey hair, beard, heavy set. I almost got sick to my stomach seeing him and knowing what this man had done to his children……I’m sure it wasn’t him, but OMG could have been his doppelgänger!

This case is absolutely horrendous he deserves letters to prison telling him how horrible of a human he is definitely more of a monster than a man.... My sons father was raised as a 7 th day Adventist and basically experienced a childhood that had all the traumas and issues experience by this perpetrator. I was fortunate early on to be awarded sole custody of my son and was able to put boundaries in place to keep myself and my son safe. His upbringing was heartbreaking and tragic but as an adult he became an abusive and narcissistic person. I wonder how and why the experience of growing up in this cult (I fully believe it to be the case ) turns these kids into offenders. It’s disturbing.
