Stick shift or auto, the Focus has always been a outstanding car to me, and my family. Especially now since gas prices are going ballistic. Been eying the 5 speed just to change it up, and to get better at stick.
I have 2 of these little cars a 2008 Focus SE and a 2009 SeS and I love them both and won't trade them for anything, the 08 is pushing 280,578 the 09 has 155.620 no major issues besides the valve cover gaskets lower control arm bushings and the basic maintenance. The great thing is there is plenty of parts around for these cars and super cheap to fix anything.
@@GoddessMe444 I got a 08 sedan with about 150,000miles 5 speed for a daily and it’s great, recently found a transmission with 40k miles and dropped it in…love the car and their still VERY smooth
A bid on two of these today at Auction. Dealer only auction. Both of them had close to 200,000 miles. The final bids ended up just under $3000 for each one what the hell does this car have that is so special?
Cool video. My dad has an automatic same color/year. It’s been sitting for around a month because the bypass hose (or should I say tube because it’s plastic). There’s a manual someone’s selling for $1800 which definitely seems too good to be true for the price point, but if I had the money saved up I’d definitely consider it.
i honestly feel these are an underrated car from a economy/reliability standpoint. aside from the one motor mount it's honestly just regular maintenance. nowadays everyone moving to suvs
Bought an SE last year for $3100 with 98k miles. No issues except the typical shaky motor mounts and some plastic interior parts breaking. I wouldn’t ever classify the car as fast, but it’s definitely a fun little car to shoot around town in. The lady selling it to me did not know what she had to sell it for that little 😂
@@Ishbikes It was a 2008. I’d say that might be a bit over depending on the condition, used prices are starting to go down so you should be able to get that lower. I’d say around 3.5k-3.7k would be the max I’d pay. I’ve sold mine but it was a great car.
I wasn’t expecting a 2010 manual to with 116k to be 4k. The bmw next to it was the same price. Only difference is I knew I wouldn’t be riding that bmw long.

Very nice video, i liked the sporty sound of the 2.0 Duratec engine. 😊

Best 5 speed gear ratios ever, it's almost like a 6 speed.
Ur interior looks exactly like mine even the steering wheel is worn
