Belis Breckenridge it’s still funny dumbass that’s part of the appeal, you either speak with proper English and get your point across in a straightforward fashion or you spice it up and use slang which can increase the humour because the person listening also understand the slang and is more inclined to laugh to demonstrate that their knowledge of the slang is not to be questioned and to make outsiders who don’t understand feel like they’re part of the outgroup that doesn’t belong and is unworthy of this conversation.
Example:
English 😴: “Stop speaking this way to me or I may resort to using physical means to convey my sense discomfort in this conversation”
Slang 💪: “Yo twotwos nize your beak fam ‘fore a man like you get tomped up on their headtop for movin like wasteyute, ahlie? you’re a fuckin bucket g styll”

Funny how they look down on her but not the men who did it with her. Times never changed I see
they don't look down on the men cause they're the ones with a life of hard labor ahead of them and that's what the hoes are trying to freeload on
symone love cause we have an actual hard life the hardes thing for you used to be childbirth
symone love I think its just natural to assume a guy would smash multiple people and a girl less likely so. Well biologically atleast, a guy can smash 100 people and not be physically affected (asides from potential stds) but a girl has the chance to getting pregnant. So society a woman to choose her potential partner well cause she may be their child.
2019: netflix and chill
1950s: say we outa get together and talk over those props a little
This doesn’t seem like a genuine example, this is more likely one of those films they would show to kids to make sure they don’t ‘park’
V Nha they should, but there are a distinct portion of women who like the idea of reforming bad boys. There is no such movement for women. I'm not saying the women are screwed long term, but short term the slutty man has a much better chance of finding a nice girl and settling down; than the slutty woman has of finding a nice guy to date her seriously.

My dad grew up in the 70s and my grandfather grew up in the 40s: There was culture regression (I feel), like kids wearing sweatpants in public, shitty rap, and general lack of self respect in youth today. However my dad and grandfather can both testify the amount of bullying and straight up violence has gone down considerably in high school. They say that there were kids that got jumped literally every day in school.
They were probably just ugly.

Truth and Beauty are real. Popular music spit in the faces of Truth and Beauty.
I would totally believe that. People had it harder back then. Kids get abused and have bad homes today, but tonnes did also back then - it just wasn't ever talked about and nobody gave a shit. They're the kids that would get violent, I think. And it would've happened a lot.... maybe less gun violence, but they still had gangs and all sorts of shit.
Like, before the youth movement of the 60s kids were expected to be little clones of their parents a lot more. But I think they still would've been violent thugs a lot of them too.
That was probably just at the high school they went to. I can tell you right now bullying has not gone down. In fact, it's gotten worse.
If only men today behave like this and all calm when they speak...tsk tsk too bad I wasn't in that time.
Yes it's only you were in the time where women had much less rights and during a time of War 😀
Racism, homophobia, sexism... you sure you wanna go back?
Amethyst H. They didn't really speak like this, they're just actors. Acting the way adults think teens act. Even back then teens were rowdy and well, teens.
Oh come on. Why does everyone need to bring up everything bad about a time whenever someone comments about something they appreciate of the era? Being civil and polite to one another was a value back then, and it's clear these young guys thought of women respectfully and of value, even though the government had some not so great policies in place. Many women did actually work in the 50s, not the majority, but women were highly encouraged to get a college degree anyway and be educated before marriage and kids. Women that were especially gifted and showed a lot of potential in university were welcome to the workforce, and during the era you had a lot of women working in programming and telecommunications. A lot of people think the 50s was like the start of the 18th hundred, but the 50s actually had a lot more opportunities and flexibility for women than what is commonly assumed.
