I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed & learned from your videos. At nearly 80 yrs of age, I've decided to learn to weave wall hangings & your tutorials are so clear & close up to the actual weaving you were doing it has given me confidence to jump right in & try it. I taught school for 31 years & it's very gratifying to find another teacher so dedicated to her work. Thanks again for the five videos on UA-cam.
I'm a beginner weaver and I really enjoyed your video. Now I now how to warp and begin weaving on the loom. I will continue to follow your videos. Thank You
I love you, you don't go to fast, everything is clear and the zoomed-in shots are so helpful. You absolutely deserve all the kind comments you receive!
This is a fabulous video! The close ups, the slow process & the backdrop being a different color than the thread are all extremely helpful!!! Best vid on youtube! Thank you♡
thank you for your tutorial I use to do this when I was younger, You have showed me a wonderful way to start my Grandgirls.... Thank you again..on my way to get started!!! god bless
Hi! I'm glad to find this channel! I 'd like to know if wool is a good material for weaving with this technic. I'd like to make a blanket or maybe a shawl or scarf to wear as a warm garment.
Hello! Just got a Rigid Heddle Loom gifted to me and was wondering if it is possible to do things like this with it? I am a complete beginner with no knowledge on this topic and have been watching a bunch of videos. Would like to create hanging wall tapestries with different textures and sizes of thread and just wanted to know if I could achieve this with the Rigid Heddle Loom. Thank you so much! And great video as well, the finished product is so beautiful!
Hi..Your video is awesome..Very useful ...I have doubt in the first step are we wrapping the yarn on the nails in first row or second row...Do hope tat u will answer..It will b helpful.thnx
Thank you so much for this. I can't wait to start. I made my loom, but I put the nails the other way round (more on the inner row rather than the outer) will this matter in the end?
I just bought my first weaving loom what warp thread would u suggest that I should use since I'm a beginner were can I find warp threads at also what isle is it in in the craft stores
You probably won’t reply but what if your loom has wool at the front and back. Do you still need to leave space at the bottom? Because when you take the weaving off, you’ll have to cut the wool at the back to get it off. So can’t you use that wool to tie it up?
Your cardboard you say over and under. Your shed stick you say do the opposite of the cardboard but your actions repeat the same as the cardboard.. I just need to know whats right please?
it's actually opposite. if you start your cardboard over then under, your dowel needs to start under over. It creates a cross at the cardboard and will prevent your weaving from slipping down over the cardboard and cause problems later on. hope that helps.

I am pretty sure you put your shed stick in the same way as the cardboard. I have done it both ways and find it easier this way. Over-Under.

Tension is key
hi I wanting. to know. this is my first. time weaving. and I wanting. to know if you could do a video about what we need for weaving. on a loom
question: is it the cardboard that creates the space between the lines?
Can you make a cardigan using this type of loom?. If so can you make a video 😊
Good for school
is it easy to meke two side shed?
Two dowels with the alternating threads attached to them by string would have made a much faster weave.
