Might be a silly question but(beginner here): once I start weaving,do I go under both warp strings or between them?

For weaving tapestry you will go under one and over the next one and then repeat.

Hi Marty, if you want to triple warp the loom for 18 ends per inch, yes that would fill all the notches, but you want to use much finer warp in that instance as well as finer weft, otherwise you won't be able to achieve weft-faced fabric.
