My high school (I'm a history teacher) has added a new period in which we teach students life skills, and I'm teaching weaving.(I have taken weaving classes in the past, but am really a spinner and knitter. Another teacher claimed knitting first--ha ha!). So I decided to teach weaving. I've been watching lots of video tutorials to bring myself back up to speed and to show the kids, and yours are far and away the best I've seen. You explain everything so well, and your videos are so appealing to me and the kids. Thank you so much for all your work!
I feel like I don't need to watch another weaving video after watching your beginner weaving videos. You explain everything so well. Now I just need to get my materials.
You are absolutely the best teacher! I can see your hands (meaning someone is shooting the video properly), hear your well-paced instructions, and follow along easily. I hope you do more tutorials for tapestry weaving although I'm so new that maybe you have done everything through this fifth video! LOL Thank you, thank you! :-)
I'm just deciding to whether to get into weaving or not and I just watched all 5 of your beginner tutorials which were really great and so easy to follow, thank you so much for showing these. I can't wait to search for other videos of yours to watch. You are so easy to listen to.
Thankyou Annabel ,for this excellent selection of videos, I can see you've put a lot of time and effort into creating these superb video tutorials, hopefully now I can pass on this work to my craft club members,,WELL DONE..
I feel so stupid for wanting to have taken a $125 class after watching this. This video was beyond amazing and perfect in every sense of the word. Fantastic lighting, fantastic explanations, fantastic view points from the camera and fantastic timing of everything.
Over the last two weeks I have watched many many weaving videos. If I had found this one first I would’ve save myself a lot of time. Thank you so much. And now I’m ready to start weaving.
Cieszę się, że odkryłam Pani filmy. Uczę się, próbuję coś tkać, bardzo podoba mi się to zajęcie. Pani przekazy są bezcenne. Dziękuję i pozdrawiam Panią.
I was watching videos showing such complicated ways, like making the warp with separate lenths measured and tied on indidually, thought I'd never work with something so finnicky, this is so simple, so easy to follow, isn't overladen with tips and instructions, just wind your yarn around and pass your shuttle through
The best serie of tuts for the beginners, so far.Ive watched gazilions of them but nothing so well explained and made it .Step by step made for the followers/viwers and not only for the show as i saw on others.Thank you so much for sharing .Like and sub.
This is just what I was looking for, step by step from building loom to finished product. Love the way she taught and her manner. Defo in my saved folder. Excited to build my loom at the weekend xx
WOW. This was the best instructional video! The others I have watched take too long and are frustrating. Thank you for making your videos. I want to go weave now.
Very interesting. I have always wanted to learn how to weave but thought I would have to buy a big loom. Thank you so much for sharing. Your videos were very informative. Great job.
LOVE love love!!! And No worries won't spill the beans regarding the "secret" to a flat fringe...totally unexpected and funny!! Thanks for this - Cheers
I had asked you on another of your videos how to do all this here on this video. Sorry I didn't see this before asking about it all. These are all beautiful patterns!!! Thank you for sharing! 😊
I followed your tutorial.and was brave enough to have a go....I've tidied all.my back threads except the Marino wool which I'm stuck on how to get that stitched back in as it doesn't fit through my needle
Great video, very easy to understand, and the best thing about it?., no awful background music which is very distracting I find it hard to hear what is being said if there is background music Thank You So Much!
Thank you much, you have made it, with these 5 clips very clear. I took a photo when on holiday of the sea and islands and wondered if I could recreate it with a weaving- with this instruction I am going to have a go. Can I ask how long did it take you to create the one in this clip? How long does it take to finish one?
Oooh this was so helpful! Do you have any tips for using these in other ways apart from as wall hangings? I am picturing one on the side of a bag or the back of a jacket - but I'm not sure what the best method would be to attach it
I haven't done weaving since I was in school and girl scouts. Thank you for the tutorials and refreshing my memory. I would like to maybe make some coasters or trivets using your methods. What would you suggest putting on the backs so that they do not slide? For the trivets how would you connect two pieces if I had a smaller loom?
This was so well done that I am confident I could replicate it in short order. I knew the principles, but wasn’t sure how to implement them. You made it seem so easy. By the way, I love your blouse. Did you create it as well
Hi there, fab videos! I would love to weave a rug for my living room, I'm wondering can you join individual looms together? Or would I have to make a huge loom. Many thanks x
awesome tutorial very informative and detail, excited to try this and make my own, Thank you so very much. you are the best. looking forward to seeing more.
Great, easy to understand , love it, the best thing? not having any background music which I find very distracting it also makes it hard for me to hear what is being said.Thank You So Much! It
