My high school (I'm a history teacher) has added a new period in which we teach students life skills, and I'm teaching weaving.(I have taken weaving classes in the past, but am really a spinner and knitter. Another teacher claimed knitting first--ha ha!). So I decided to teach weaving. I've been watching lots of video tutorials to bring myself back up to speed and to show the kids, and yours are far and away the best I've seen. You explain everything so well, and your videos are so appealing to me and the kids. Thank you so much for all your work!

I feel like I don't need to watch another weaving video after watching your beginner weaving videos. You explain everything so well. Now I just need to get my materials.

You are absolutely the best teacher! I can see your hands (meaning someone is shooting the video properly), hear your well-paced instructions, and follow along easily. I hope you do more tutorials for tapestry weaving although I'm so new that maybe you have done everything through this fifth video! LOL Thank you, thank you! :-)

I'm just deciding to whether to get into weaving or not and I just watched all 5 of your beginner tutorials which were really great and so easy to follow, thank you so much for showing these. I can't wait to search for other videos of yours to watch. You are so easy to listen to.

I feel so stupid for wanting to have taken a $125 class after watching this. This video was beyond amazing and perfect in every sense of the word. Fantastic lighting, fantastic explanations, fantastic view points from the camera and fantastic timing of everything.

Over the last two weeks I have watched many many weaving videos. If I had found
this one first I would’ve save myself a lot of time. Thank you so much. And now I’m ready to start weaving.

I was watching videos showing such complicated ways, like making the warp with separate lenths measured and tied on indidually, thought I'd never work with something so finnicky, this is so simple, so easy to follow, isn't overladen with tips and instructions, just wind your yarn around and pass your shuttle through

Thank you much, you have made it, with these 5 clips very clear. I took a photo when on holiday of the sea and islands and wondered if I could recreate it with a weaving- with this instruction I am going to have a go. Can I ask how long did it take you to create the one in this clip? How long does it take to finish one?

I haven't done weaving since I was in school and girl scouts. Thank you for the tutorials and refreshing my memory. I would like to maybe make some coasters or trivets using your methods. What would you suggest putting on the backs so that they do not slide? For the trivets how would you connect two pieces if I had a smaller loom?
