The PS3 is my favourite out of the next-gen consoles. It's more powerful than the other cnsoles, but that means it comes with a considerably heftier price tag. And don't think I'm a fanboy because I've got 60GB 360, 80GB PS3 and Wii. My verdict on all: Wii--Not powerful enough;--7.5 XBOX360--Decent;--9.5 Playstation 3--AMAZING. A GREAT PACKAGE THROUGHOUT, WITH blu-ray DISC, beautiful graphics and gameplay, it's the paladin of all videogames consoles. I might send a thank-you to Sony!

@marshan3q even games, games on my country for ps3 are every single 1 priced of 180 dollars each game. i try to get them from people that goes to the USA to get them for only 80... everything that comes to my country its duplicated its price + more money for the shop. the ps3 80 gigas was 400 dollars on the USA, when they brought it here (URUGUAY), it was duplicated, 800 dollars + shop money = 900 + a USED game 970 + a transformator 120v 1030 dollars. lucky me it was my dad who bought it lol.
Yes you halo arguement is weak! That seems to the only reason people can make for buying a 360! Don't get me wong I love the 360 to but it's not the power house it claims to be. You blu-ray arguement is pretty bad as well. The PS3 is the cheapest blu-ray player on the market and the movies can be found for around $25 only about $5 more than a dvd new release. As more studios use the format as a standered the price will go down as it did with DVDs in the past.

Yeah, you can remove it and replace it with a compatible 500gig hard drive, but the only downside is that when you do this your warranty expires. But there are videos on how to change the hard drive on youtube. Check em out.

It's not my internet, it works fine. Maybe when someone uses both wired and wireless connection in my house at the same time (there's two computers) and i use wireless in my ps3 so...
If something were taking up memory it would be obvious. Try formatting the hard drive and see if that helps. If you format the HDD and still only have 40gb, then you were ripped off.

Theres 2 USB ports. SD slot is where you plug memory cards in, SD is a type of memory card.

@xplayer51x You got the 20gb model or the 40gb model. The 80gb ones came with the readers and a glossy trim.
depends on yur router or sumthing but my router is 20ft =( but my ps3 picks up my uncles router (120ft) away
