For the Heat question, the average human gives out around 80 watts of energy. Imagine having another person in your room just hanging out and sharing heat, would you notice?
NVidia CEO lost common sense when he released SUPER series with the 12VHPWR connector.... He is too busy with AI craze and totally ignoring that his gaming products are a fire hazard.
Yes, Jensen is absolutely insane
Hard to argue against though. One market is 15% of their total revenue and shrinking, while the other is 80%+ with huge potential.
@@koek4539It’s shrinking because their prices are so high
@@AtomicSub Mgiht be true, but do they care?
If gamers don't want to buy it for a high price, they can always sell it to companies for an even higher price!
🔥
Razer should've just stayed out of the bullocks. The very fact a GAMING company 'hopped into' the PPE ring, should have been the 1st sign...
When theres a hole or a niche or a trend, its not uncommon for companies to chase said things
Silly tho
As a user of that ring light camera it's not shit just overpriced by 40 dollars and using razers bloatware
yeah the govenrments can lie to us sell us scam products tell us about scams, and pfizer johnson and johnson can profit from it! but let a little company dare to get in on the action and they will be punsihed
👆
That's a fair point on Intel... not even the majority of gamers know what's going on, and it is more likely that they're just trying to save face in the eyes of the majority of consumers. It's also good to know you've heard some information that they will be held to account if they decided to not replace those chips.
Intel has done everything in their power to refuse warranty services for my 14900KS not performing to specifications.
@@stevenwest1494 That kinda rhetoric is unnecessary. You think AMD and Lesa Su care about you personally and not their bottom line? At least Intel's processor only crashed and din't fucking explode...
Intel is 🗑! It took five of them to get a decent working one. I'd return my 14900K if I could. I'm still within my return policy. The problem is, I'd be stuck with my $500 motherboard. Lesson learned😢
@@user-vsmsdos I mean they aren't wrong. It's been known for a long while now that Intel has been deliberately allowing their CPUs to be run at ridiculous levels just to compete with AMD. Hardware Unboxed couldn't even keep a 13900k from throttling in a case with a 360 AIO and overkill cooling at stock. It just came back to bite them directly in the ass as shown by well... you.
@@keyoske500 dollar board? Holy fuck why?
Nice going Brett, that “mesothelioma” line gave me enough nostalgia to lightly blow air out of my nose. Now I’ve got that “JG Wentworth, 877-CASH-NOW” jingle stuck in my head and I blame you.
No no, find the mesothelioma can can video 👌😂
IMBM made an amazing skit on that
11:00 I've put my office in a spare bedroom, I've put my server and networking equipment, NVR security equipment, etc in the closet. Approximately 500w. I can contain the majority of the heat in the closet if I close the door. But my desktop still puts out about 600w into the office space.
The HVAC has to work harder to displace that heat.
In addition My wife puts a 1500w space heater in the bathroom while she is in there.
The HVAC has to work harder to displace set heat as well.
I've thought about putting a vent in the network closet and then running a duct from the closet to the bathroom. I've found some fans that are made for 10 inch ducts.
This would move the heat to where my wife wants it; Maybe eliminating her desire to use the 1500w space heater. (It might also keep our pipes from freezing since the bathroom is on an exterior wall.) It would also make the office more comfortable. The office is typically 5 - 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house.
Am I crazy? My wife says, “you are NOT cutting holes in our house!”
I thought this was a very practical solution.
wouldn't the bigger die make it easier to transfer the heat und allow better cooling of the gpu ?
indeed it would theoretically
Brett, when do you think next gen of intell GPU are going out and what price range? Cuz what I've heard it's going to be good for price to performance.
9:52 I think he meant heat ouput in terms of keeping the chip cool.
I'm pretty sure the 2060 KO was a bit faster than the original, not slower.
9:30 I was sad when they stopped marking cards. At least i can still get their coolers and PSUs
I thought they meant Shin as in Shin Uchiha (the person that Orochimaru used to create Danzo sharigan arm).
Thank you for the infomercial reminder
It's been a while since I've wanted to say this, but your segues into different segments of the video are top notch :) Not like the stupid af meta segues from ltt.
new font and editing style?
Wish that Reece had deals on dishwashers. I just dropped $900+ on a new unit including installation and haul away😭
It would be dope if nvidia put a 4090/5090 in a 4070 box randomly 😂 it’s the only way I would ever own one. On second thought just put a 4090 in my cereal box
It would be like the heart attack I felt when buying a Jackson bass and the store shipped it in a cheap Ibanez cardboard box
Other options too about that 4070, that the 4080 slow down sales they may made to many chips, we may find out one day.
The MSI FLAW, both the 155H & 135H needs to be cheaper than the ROG ALLY Z1 & Z1X, before considering whether to buy or not, greedy MSI's
I have a RTX-4070TI-OC Asus 12GB and the 551.86 works better with the OBS software. The Newer drivers jerks with OBS. So there is some kind of difference.
in general a byproduct of energy is heat, soooooooo increased wattage would increase heat output
Hi Brett, I think that the comment about heat, refers about the heat in the computer and not in the enviroment. As you said, more watts used, means more heat and in a closed computer case, higher temperatures. Thats something no PC user like...
Intel is down 13.4% in April alone, the biggest drop for at least 20 years
What the hell happened to your RH inner elbow crease?
Give Brett a driver update on shaving
What's up with the band-aid on the arm?
Just get into the damn robot shinji
Don't get a space heater, just overclock an old AMD FX system and let that cook the room
Is it just me or does he sound like the tech version of John Green (saying this as a compliment)
Intel took deliveries of advanced EUV machines from ASML, and are set to receive more going into 2025. Hopefully Intel is able to produce a much better fabrication node than 10nm.
Hope you're doing great, Brett.
50 more watts of heat? What are you talking about? Watts are output as heat only if there are losses in efficiency. A 100% efficient card that draws 600 watts would output zero watts of heat. That's why the commenter was concerned with heat output - yet you just assumed it's because of it heating up someone's room? As for why heat output matters - it heats up the rest of the components in your case, reducing their longevity.
A bit too late for brettfast here in greece . Its already 16:33
Frankenstein gpu 😮
Did you donate blood or have some testing done ? Noticed the bandaid on the arm. You need to stay well so we get our daily dose of hotnews.

You have owie on your arm
I dont have mesothelioma, but i do have a structured settlement and i need cash now.

heat output thats bs light a cigarrette light a candle make toast fry some bacon because your eggs are scambled lol
You got cut? Twice??!? How'd that happen! I hope your finger gets better, and your arm too (looks like a blood donation actually). But I don't think you donate blood out your finger!!
intel is the blackberry of chips
Atleast they are a USA Company; I think it is wise that not all chips are made in Asia, better to be self-suficient.
People using Shintel likely mean 💩tel
I’m enjoying my lunch.

i have to agree with Elon that that does sound like a violation of his first amendment rights.
I think the n is silent in shintel

If the claw really beats the rog ally, Intel essentially just beat AMD at their own game of iGPUs
I'm not excusing Intel for this issue, but I do find it strange that this is similar to AM5 burning holes in Mobo's after release, both down to Mobo manufacturer's over volting the CPU, yet when Intel, its there doing, but when was it AMD, it was the Mobo's fault, both companies allow this to happen, I'm not taking sides I just think its funny that generally Intel gets a lot of grief for things everyone seems to be fine with AMD doing. also my 12900ks is showing none of these issues, thank god, happy to pull 330w if I let it, and 5.2 all core, 5.5 single core, All day no issues.
Double standard, and it's absolutely the same in the GPU market.
When Nvidia wanted to release RTX 4080 16GB and RTX 4080 12GB, everybody went nuts about it.
But AMD managed to silently release RX 6750 GRE 10GB (rebranded/slightly overclocked RX 6700) and RX 6750 GRE 12GB (rebranded/very slightly overclocked RX 6700 XT) and it's completely quiet there.
@@rinsenpai135 100% double standards, If I'm honest, I'm mostly put off AMD by the ''sweep AMD's known issues under the carpet, don't speak of them and pretend their not there'' Eg. CPU'S = memory stability issues, GPU's = crashing/driver issues. and that AMD GPU's are memory hungry in them selves, in many comparisons I have seen the AMD system is consistently use more Vram and system memory than the Nvidia. I'm no ones fanboy, I use what ever I feel works best for the situation, and not by who's name is on the box.
Fine gamers win, Intel should lock down ALL the settings on their CPU, and do the same for motherboard chipsets... oh wait! Gamers WANT to dick with the settings, they just want to blame someone else when they fry their CPU.
Except this was happening at STOCK. This occurs when you use your CPU and motherboard out of the box lmao
This is the result of default settings.
@@riven4121
Yes, the default settings of the MOTHERBOARD are often to enable THEIR overclock. The user loads into bios so can change this -by this I mean the motherboard maker settings. The blame falls on the board maker, and the user who bought the Z series motherboard and "K" series" chip for overclocking which almost always involves feeding power to the chip until it becomes unstable.
Mobo companies run bad settings that cause processors to blow up, they blame Mobo companies for it, its all good, they can't control it. Intel same same, but everyone says different. Intel is horrible.
Not sure why everyone has these weird perceptions of reality.
I guess as long as I accept Microsoft and Intel are always wrong, unless its Intel doing a video card then they are right.
Also Windows 11 always is terrible, no matter what and windows 10 is awesome but not as awesome as XP.....
These tired tropes honestly just keep getting washed rinsed and reused.
I like Intel processors, always have always will. I've tried AMD proc's in the past but I don't care for their performance, and it goes much deeper than gaming benchmarks, just overall they seem slower to me. I like windows 11, have since it was released, heck I even found I liked Vista (as long as it was run on new hardware).
Why does everyone have to accept someone else's stilted viewpoint, or they are wrong. Why can't everyone have their own opinions.
Hi
