Bokimon Well I think we have too large population difference, a province in China may have more people than the entire U.S. and we have 26 provinces. And there’s always someone wired among us, imagine the kid always copying what you are doing. And the mainstream is never a good topic for news or videos, since it is actually more similar than you probably imagined, the difference and conflicts stands out in our perspective. This goes both ways, eg: people in China think western crime rate is unbelievable high, but the truth is always neither. The truth is either way too boring, or too fked up to been shown.

At this point? Dont bother buying gpu, if you are planning to build a pc Buy a ryzen apu like ryzen 3 2400g or ryzen 5 3400g. These two APUs are capable of running light to medium games, I have played rainbow six with ryzen 3 2400g (my friend's apu btw, we swapped for a while). Why buy this cpu/apu insgedsdtof gpu, well the gpus on the market are now having a ridiculous inflation I'd not care to upgrade to anything at this point and just wait until next year when the market goes back to msrp.
Also side node, the difference between the ryzen 5 3400g and ryzen 3 2400g, sorry if I got the wrong model but you can look it up, they both perform similarly on games, but the difference comes in when you are going to use it in softwares so it depends on your need if it's solely for gaming and on budget, opt for the ryzen 3 apu if you're willing or have some spare budget go for ryzen 5 apu. You can upgrade later down the line and it would be best to have 18gb of ram since it'd boost the performance especially on ryzen cpus

@@Danny_rox Honestly right now if want to get your monies worth you really need to purchase a entire pre-built gaming computer to get a GPU at a decent price. And its not going to change any time soon. Trump's 25% tariff is still on going. There is a on going silicon waffler shortage. Demand on production was some thing like more than 10X what was projected for the year creating a huge shortage and it takes time to ramp up production, experts think it could be another year before production meets demand. And normal is still going to be more expensive unless Biden drops Trump's tariff on all video card coming out of China.

seeing how there are a bunch of videos which are exactly about these cards from nearly the same time as this video, it wouldn't surprise me if that was actually the case lol
I rolled the dice on one of these from Amazon, since I needed a video card and I was willing to bet $50 on getting this good a deal. The card arrived without any anti-static wrapping or protection at all, in a generic "GRAPHICS card" box with the exact same CD you showed. When the card arrived, it just flat out didn't work (blue screen on start), so I told the seller - in China - that it wasn't working and he said "okay, I'll refund, you don't have to send it back." In the end I can't really complain too much.

@@swiar_d7057 What actually happens is they set up a couple hundred of these in a crypto mining rig and just run them until they burn out. Eventually they upgrade to new cards, all the old ones get yanked, and nobody checks which ones do and don't work - they just throw them all up for sale and let support handle it. Some customers get a working card, some don't.

I was personally looking at that first ms paint image on the ebay listing for it and thinking seems like them and the GPU scammers are either the same or in cahoots to get more money off people trying to fix getting fucked on the fake graphics card
@@AlexvrbX i had a gts450 but it broke last year. it can run csgo and lol and older games. but it broke cuz i bought it near release date.
and now my 2nd pc has my older 750TI in it. which is also kinda abysmal. but hey... it runs some of the latest games altho on potato mode.
but games like escape from tarkov which is more reliant on cpu work great.

I bought a TV for 2 dollars, I received a key ring with a little TV attached, it even has a little light on the screen. Still using it and very happy with my TV, the single channel it has is much better than most crap on TV now a days.

@@diegosanudo 🙂 have u already installed any games? did it install DirectX? NET framework? Visual C++? the hacked driver mite not be enuf, u mite have to manually install everything else or find a game that installs it, sometimes installing Steam & MSI Afterburner will install some of it.
@@MrSamadolfo i tried a lot of things and before having that gpu i had a gt1030 that was able to run those games, and yeah i have installed direct X NET framework and VisualC++ i tried installing the drivers, but of course it didn't work, and finally all the games that i run where from steam epic games store and .exe, also i always have open MSI Afterburner, if you wan't to know anything else just ask for it.

As someone who has had to work with older GPUs, the ram is likely not the only issue. Most newer 3d games use newer DirectX versions, and if the feature limit on the card is below the version the game is made for, the game will start to open and then crash.
Thanks for this video. I am currently building my first PC and looking for a "temporary" GPU like a used 1050 ti or 1060 on Ebay to get trough this whole crisis and after the prices kinda normalize again I plan to buy my final GPU. I hope now I don't fall for any of these scams but get a actually real GPU.

Yep, look under the "Advanced" tab by the search bar, or else in the "refine" section. there is a slider for "sold items"
This was a huge help. They almost got me with this.
You gotta look at the part numbers on the little 8 pin chips to find the eeprom. The part number should start with 24 or 25 and a little dot for pin 1, to match with the pin # on the programmer.
The first letter is 佳 (in Korean, the pronunciation is /ka/) meaning 'beautiful'.
The second letter is probably a simplified version of 華 (in Korean, the pronunciation is /hwa/). I think I so this simplified version in some Chinese news footages that supposed to be 中華 (China). This letter also means 'beautiful' but in more ostentatious matter, at least in Korea.
The third letter is 宇 (In Korean, the pronunciation is /wu/), meaning a 'house' or 'cosmos'.
So, the pronunciation in Korean will be /ka hwa wu/, and the meaning could be a beautiful and splendid house. Probably something similar in Chinese.

Matt - I know it's an old vid but... my best guess for BIOS chip is U4, visible extreme bottom left of shot at 8:14 - Winbond chip - AND NOTE THAT PIN 1 is denoted by the dot/dimple on the chip surface - if you haven't been aligning pin1 correctly with your clip you won't be able to flash. I've never flashed a video card but I flash tens of router EEPROMs ever day.

I personally think Nvidia should do more to warn people of installing a fake GPU and have the tools in their Driver installer to analyse the GPU and warn users that the firmware does that match the chip and that it has been modded and what the GPU really is and notify the user to seek a refund if it is not as described.

Did you ever try the drivers on the CD that came with it? The drivers and bios might be proprietary.

how to know if a gpu is fake :
it most probably has photos taken from other sites
So like every GPU then? If it’s new, you think a seller is going to rip open a collectors edition Titan Xp Star Wars edition? Nope! What about a normal 1080ti? Well what’s the point when professionally photographed pics exist that show the card in an elegant studio photographed manner. Like your picture at best would look the same after setting up studio lighting.
If it’s used then sure, mostly just to show dust or if you cleaned it, but new I’ve never seen a retailer open up a new box to take a crappy photo compared to the stock photos for that particular model.
Also when I buy parts, they have the same stock photo on other websites, because it’s the stock advertisement photo from MSI/EVGA/Sapphire/Gigabyte/XFX/Galax/etc, like that’s what the stock photo is for, the manufacturer just has an album of stock photos for helping out vendors market and sell the cards (so that the manufacturer can sell more money to them, which makes sense for both).

Sorry, couldn't resist that... WISH are TERRIBLE, and EBAY nearly as bad … if it doesn't carry a recognized brand, it's 99.9% going to be fake (though there is the odd far East brand that you might not have heard of), got to the point that I can smell them by the often somewhat peculiar wording, the very generic appearance - and the VGA port on a card that's got no business having one

I bought a 4 gig 1050 ti and thankfully it is genuine. A pretty good card for my budget rig too.
