I have a 15' Scout and wanted to see the wheel change process. I'm going to watch it again, to get all that stuck in my head a little better. I've never changed a bike tire before so I like the idea of pre-marking the nut and socket before loosening them up. Thanks for the tutorial!
Awesome video! I was always intimidated in taking my wheels off my Road Glide, although, friends of mine do it regularly. I looked up and found your video on the Scout Bobber which is my wife’s bike. I’m doing great until I got to the front wheel with the 16mm allen lol. As soon as I find one I’ll have the front wheel off!
Wow thanks for this video. I bought new rims and tires and have been procrastinating cause I thought I had to take it to a shop. Video was so helpful. Which motorcycle jack do you recommend?
Good to know that I was able to help. The jack I use is the Craftsman aluminum motorcycle jack. From others that I've used. This one and the aluminum motorcycle jack from Harbor Fright are the best ones. Mostly cause they are the easiest to control when lowering the bike.
Thanks. I usually do. Another reason for spinning the rear wheel is not only to check to make sure nothing is binding, but also to see where the drive belt is going to ride.
5/8 instead of 16 mm Alan but if that helps anyone locate the part if they can’t find it in mm. Me and my Grandpa had trouble locating the tool around town. Ended up finding it at O’reilly.

Any advice on the belt? I can not get it off. I went 7 turns and still won’t come off. Should I just keep doing a turn at a time till I can get it?

Welcome. Happy to help. Ride safe.
great job... make sure you check the belt alignment, check to see that it is riding in the center of the rear pulley, if not will need adjustment.

It's a front axle tool. Has 4 different sizes in one tool.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Awesome video btw.
Thanks. Do my best to help.
Did say 16mm allen for the front?
Thanks and great video.
I believe it was a standard size. I didn’t have the correct size but was able to use a metric allen close to the size to remove the axle.
@@cliffcares6455 thanks. Yes figured it out it’s a 5/8 allen.
Thank you.
Welcome. Ride safe.
Better yell at that bike and tell it to hold that flashlight better!

Not my bike. It's a customer.
