What’s I’ve noticed from the Walmart site is that they’re doing the Walmart market where they have random sellers like you see on Amazon. I almost got burned like that once. Phew! Sorry to hear you got scammed bud.
Actually u can end up buying a fake one straight from the store. I noticed that the cheaper ones say "ps4 compatible" in the Walmart site. And the real ones would say "sony wireless controller for ps4". I just noticed it cause i bought one 4 years ago (the blue camouflage) and it just died. So i went to the Walmart site and noticed a big difference between prices. Thats when i noticed the cheap ones say "compatible with ps4". all the exotic colors ones are basically fake. At this point in 2023 ill just buy another fake one. If it'll last me 4 more years, im good cause i should have the ps5 by then. Im waiting for gta6 to come out.

If it says “Sony interactive entertainment Inc” then it’s not fake and has the correct model #

I got one off offerup for 30 and it was fake so I sold it back next time I’m getting an original from target instead
