Times are strange, challenging, changing and uncertain. It's an excellent time for us to practice self-care. Self care during quarantine, social distancing or lockdown, in a way that fits within our views of intentional living. These healthy habits can all be done while we stay home, alone or together with family, and without having to buy anything new. So we can take good care of our physical health, mental health and emotional wellbeing.
I think a lot of our focus these days, is directed at productivity. We need to stay productive while indoors, we need to take on all kinds of projects now that we finally have the time for them. But I think we also have to allow ourselves this opportunity to slow down. To take care, to unwind and reflect. We don't have to keep going the same pace as before. Times are challening enough. Just having a self care day for example, can work wonders.
What do you to for self care in quarantine? And are you perhaps decluttering? Let me know in the comments.
Lots of love,
🌼 Vera

NATIVE DEODORANT REVIEW #sponsored #workingwithNative #sharenative
What do you think? Leisure wear vs. regular clothes while staying at home? 🤗👇👇
Definitely leisure wear for me. Though I still find I need to "get dressed" to be productive it seems to work if I put on fresh leisure wear or pajamas. Fresh pajama pants, washing my face, and brushing my teeth is enough to get me going.
I need to change my clothes, even into workouts clothes, first thing in the morning. It makes the world of difference for me. Definitely, comfy clothes at home. It'll be hard to wear real clothes again!
Leisure wear ☺️
Leisure wear.
Always shower, get elegant casually
dressed, put on make up, eat a good
healthy breakfast. As I always do.
Luckily I am on two good Swiss
pensions, so do not need to worry
about job loss, recessions, reduced
working hours and... But I found
that a short time after retiring I did
miss working and my nice colleagues. However, had never
had a problem being alone or in a
group of nice people. Otherwise
life for me is very much the same.
Going on lovely daytrips, visiting
museums and art galleries have
been put on hold - I miss this, but
it is not the end of the world. In
fact, I hope this lockdown teaches
people to do inner reflection on
their life values, shop less for stuff
and running up debts. Also less
flying around on cheap flights. Hope
airfares become more expensive
and people start to think more about
the environment. Great points were
covered in this video Vera.
Anyone who's reading this , I hope you are healthy and happy😊😊 Please take all necessary precautions to be safe and remember there's light at the end of the tunnel.. we will get through this difficult time together 😊
Beautiful! :)
Deepti Padma Mallick ... thank you, I am keeping the faith… We must be the voice of calm and we must be the light that shines this is what the world needs now more than ever. 😘
I think, this is the greatest gift, the one little positive thing in this scary time: WE .... TOGETHER! We are ALL in the same situation right now! I never felt this solidarity with and in the whole world before and I hope, that it will last for a really long time. Stay safe, stay healthy. Hugs from Germany. :)
Love this reply, thank you. Wishing you all the same 🙏😊
So happy to finally hear I'm not the only one who wears pjs and comfy clothes all day long. No make up, no jewellery . I like feeling comfortable above all else. I meditate using email devotions from my church that really encourages me and helps me to think about and focus on the relationship with my higher power, God and the truth that encourages and uplifts me.
A daily routine including daily exercises, makeup, getting dressed and setting a goal of 1-2 productive items helps me a lot!
Sounds great! Thanks for sharing Raquel 🤗
I am too lazy to do that lol someone help me
I love being alone! I don’t get enough alone time now. 😂 I meditate on God and his word. ☺️
yup getting dressed in the morning does wonders in these times working from home. Every now and than there is a day I don't get properly dressed and I notice those are not good days for me :)
What an important video! Focusing on mental health is essential right now. We must listen to our body and try to meet our needs as best we can. Thank you for beautiful and helpful video ♥️♥️♥️🦋
Well said :) Thanks Nena!! Enjoy your Easter weekend
Yes, I agree 💯 right now more than ever… We have to incorporate self-love and self care. Stay positive and keep the faith! ✨🙏🏻✨🥰✨
Do you ever do videos on what you do on a normal day? It would be interesting to follow you through “a day in the life of Vera”. Just a suggestion! I appreciate all your wisdom filled videos!
Thank you Myrna! And thanks for your suggestion! Actually I've been thinking about filming a day in the life video, but I need to think about a way to make it interesting enough to watch and a way that the video will provide value. A normal day for a youtuber like me is basically sitting behind the laptop haha. But I'll definitely keep thinking about it and I'll try some things.
Hi Vera, I was really starting to enjoy your videos until I deleted myself off UA-cam last night. Which means I seem to have lost the comments that I had written. I am not very tech savvy at the best of times and this is one of those occasions.I am the one who spoke about building a tiny house here in Australia and I am learning a lot from you with becoming a minimalist.🍃☮️🍃Out..
This is something I was struggling for sometime. Maintaining balance with homelife and works. It's really helpful . Thank you, Vera.
You're very welcome, take care!!
Hello Vera I would like to ask if possible would you please make a video or mention some comments or whatever the case may be about when people go out to get their essential items having a list of what they want getting their stuff in a timely but quick manner in also really just extending kindness to everybody from the people who work in a store to fellow passerby‘s.
I work in a big box store and I see a lot of people just nervous ,scared ,fearful and on edge it’s like people are in this hospital and they’re sick other people just need to extend some compassion toward them some common courtesy it’s a hard thing to do but necessary especially today more than any other day thank you so much😀
Thanks for sharing Bill! Yes actually I get what you mean, going to the grocery store is a bit of a weird experience now, seeing so many people on edge. Although actually I think the people that watch these videos are already very kind and compassionate :)
I’d love to see a video of you cooking a healthy meal. I’m interested to see what kind of food is common in your country.
Thank you so much for your tips Vera. In Spain we are on lockdown and I have started doing physical activity at home thanks to a youtube channel and it' s been a rotine that I want to implement after this situation. Also I'm reading much more than usual. The most difficult for me is dealing with work at home, I' m a school teacher and it' s complicated to set boundaries but I' m trying my best. All the best Vera. Your videos are the best !
Heart of Kentucky. Hi Vera. Good to hear from you. I'm use to being at home alone. If I want to go out and walk or hike, there's plenty of space. I only went to the park twice and my shoes hurt my feet. I think my shoes are worn out. I then tried working out with my DVD, and did o.k. until the very end. I'm back to doing in depth Bible studies, daily, just need to establish the time, which will be morning. I got out sketch books, and did some simple drawings with inspiring words. I haven't done this for years. I'm getting back to myself, which totally messed me up after moving three times in two years. Playing a little bit on my keyboard, of my own compositions, and will probably get to my piano, I'm sure. Still not working on accordion or string instruments. I thought I wasn't supposed to keep doing my regular activities over the last few years because I thought I was suppose to move into the future and let go of my talents. Now, I'm happy just to being myself once again. I know this is a long message, but it is meant for you. Much love, Katie.
Thanks so much Katie, hope you're feeling well and it sounds like you're taking good care and I love that you're happy being yourself once again :)
Hi, Vera and friends! I love these tips. I've recently started meditating. Vera, I would love some meditation videos, please!
I've been doing yoga for about 20 years now (on and off the last few years). Since lock down, I've been working on making yoga and exercise part of my routine. So far so good!
🌺Hope you are all safe and well. 🌺
Thanks so much Thea! :D Wow 20 years already... you must be so much better at yoga than I am hahaha
@@SimpleHappyZen nooo.... lol. One thing I love about yoga is that it isn't about how good we are but whether or not we practice regularly. I have taken long gaps between practicing for whatever reason (health reasons or being post partum), but now I'm learning how to build habits, and I'm working on making yoga a daily habit. Wish me luck! I'm on day 10!
I agree with Thea here. I have read a lot of reactions in your previous videos, People saying you have a very calming voice. I believe it's perfect for meditations
You're absolutely right Thea :) Honestly sometimes I do get a little frustrated with my slow progress when it comes to yoga, but then I remember it's not about that. Maybe someday I'll be able to reach my toes and feel comfortable doing it hahaha. Good luck with the daily yoga challenge!!
Thanks Katelijne! :) I do have a guided meditations playlist from my earlier youtube days, you can
find it here: ua-cam.com/play/PLpDAC25h6PC-mZqi_Xd6ldISOzYdefy5O.html
You are such an inspiration! Love your videos!
Thank you so much! :) Have a lovely day
Soups and stews are my healty comfort food, 🥣warming. For the sweet Quick and lazy comfort food I will make a smoothie with( vegan) yoghurt of whatever sort there is in my fridge. Or i use thick coconutmilk from the pantry. Ad fruit, like banana🍌, berries, cherries🍒 , lime juice🍋, oranges etc🍊.. fresh or from my freezer. Flaxseeds , oatmeal, Chia seeds and blend it. Top it with nuts or bits of chocolat or make a bowl out of it instead of blending it. Lettuce🥬, cucumber 🥒and appel 🍎taste great together to as smoothy wit a bit of lemon juice🍋! Or a juist hot chocolate milk😋😋😋😋😋
Yum yum! :)
News once a day...max is really helping me cope much better. I'm a big fan of comfy clothes around the house too.
I agree I was watching the news constant at first and it had my so anxious. I'm already a very sensitive person and this was making me upset and uptight with everyone, including Husband. Now its once a day to catch up on essential changes and thats it. I feel so much better. I'm making masks to give away in my spare time and I feel I'm contributing in my own way. 🙏
Hi Vera. Thank you for these excellent ideas--all issues I have had more or less success (or failure) with since isolating myself at home. I live by myself, and I learned from subscribing to Fly Lady's channel to get dressed first thing in the morning, which I still do during this lockdown. The problem is that at home I wear old clothes, and I am getting tired of seeing myself in the mirror this way. Yes, I have meditated and practiced Yoga for almost 50 years. They give me a sense of stability now and allow me to stand back from this virus situation and observe my thoughts and emotions without necessarily believing them. My experience since the lockdown is this: Wherever I go, there I am (like the title of the book). The same worries and fears and hopes and dreams are there but now they seem to be virus-focused. I have heard from several Yoga students (one from 20 years ago) who have said how much they appreciate having their Yoga and meditation practices at this time. They bring balance which is needed right now. You asked for suggestions: One thing I haven't seen on your channel is a video about how to prepare for trips in a stress-free way, including organizing, packing lightly, preparing the house, making sure bills are paid, etc. It took me years to figure out these things. Maybe your watchers would be interested in some tips.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts Cheryl and for your video suggestion! :) Actually I've thought about making a video like that, but we're not big travelers ourselves. I hardly ever go out of the country. But when we take our next trip, whenever that will be, I think I'll make a video about it :) We go to Tokyo about once every 3 years or so. Take good care and have a lovely Easter weekend
Dankjewel! 🙏 😊
Hi Vera, loved this video! 😍
I also use leisure clothes when working from home, but I'm keeping my morning routine, trying to get up at the usual time, taking a shower and changing clothes. When I punch out, I change into workout clothes and do a workout video (I also love Yoga with Adriene), this helps my mind to stop thinking about work as well.
I absolutely love it! :) Thanks for sharing Junia
I'm wearing my leisure wear aka PJ when attending my online class ☺
Hahaha I love it 😄💕
I started listening to audio books
I use your guided morning meditation for positivity and gratitude every morning. Thank you and more power to your channel!
Wow that's amazing, thank you 🤗🌱🌟
Hi from Saudi Arabia.. I like your videos. I enjoy watching them they are so calming.. I found your channel while I was in a vacation in Netherlands.. It poped at my home page there.. I loved your channel.. and loved the country as well... Netherlands is so beautifull.. I have been in many places in Europe and all over the world.. but I found Netherland is the best.. people there are so nice and welcoming ... Wish to visit again.. wishing the best for you and for the whole world.. 🌷
Aw that's so kind, thank you so much! :) We'd love to have you visit our country again in the future :) Take care!
Hi Vera great video. I don't watch the news my husband does and if there is anything important he lets me now. We enjoy our home and we both are retired so we are ok with staying home.
Thanks for sharing, actually me and my boyfriend do that as well, we both don't actively follow it every day but we inform each other when there's important news
Definitely regular. If not feel like creeping into bed and sleep. Love this video. I'm stuck in a tiny room far away from my motherland due to pandemic. Useful tips to overcome boredom (though I'm working from home) and anxiety.
I'm glad the video was helpful for you Tharanga, take care!!
Good tips, thanks!
Glad to hear it :)
Yes on meditation content 💖 tfs
Great! :D Thank you
Thanks for this
You're very welcome Valerie 🌻🤗
As always, your video helps a lot and is nice to watch. Lockdown makes me think a lot, so I would love some videos and tips about how to love our body and about how to discover who we really are when our life feels empty. Thanks :)
For me it has been really difficult to sleep lately. I have completely lost my sleeping routine... I hope I can implement your tips on sleep and it will get better!
Thank you for your video 💫
I'm sorry to hear that, hope it will get better with these tips! You can also give this video a watch from my friend, it's a good video about improving sleep ua-cam.com/video/3Y9BdGjZvRk/v-deo.html
Fro Fro I can totally relate. I started working from home 4 weeks ago and the first about 8 or 9 days my sleep rhythm was all over the place. After that I somehow adapted but those first days I felt like I could just sleep for hours and hours at any time during the day. I‘m fortunate enough to live in GER where we can go outside for walks so I tried to get as much fresh air as possible during those weeks.
Hope you get better sleep soon! Stay well!
Thank you so much Vera! This was much needed! Lots of love back to you!! 🥳🤗
Yay, so glad to hear it, thank you! :)
Thank you for another great video Vera! I love being in my comfy clothes at home!
You're so welcome Holly and me too!! :D
I meditate at night for relaxation and to build my faith (if I do it in the mornings I will fall back to sleep :)
Thanks for these much-needed reminders!
You're very welcome Taria and take care!!!
Love all your videos🥰🌺😘😘😘😘❤️👍Thank you so much for supporting 🏆You are the best
Aw thank you so much Dinar 🤗🌷
Wonderful reminders! I'm also an introvert, so many of the stressors that are bothering others right now are just not issues for me. Re: meditation, would you consider creating and posting a guided meditation?
Thanks so much Amy! I actually have made guided meditation videos in the past :) You can find the playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLpDAC25h6PC-mZqi_Xd6ldISOzYdefy5O.html
Hi. I would love it if you showed how to start meditating.
Thanks Kathy!! I think I'll make a video about it 🙂
I’d love to have you do a video on meditation. I’ve really struggled to take the time to meditate lately. My brain always feels like it is going to hundred miles an hour! (BTW...I also love yoga with Adriene!!)
Thanks Sharon! And yes I know what you mean haha, that's normal though :)
Hi Vera, thank you very much for this video! I am struggling a little at the moment although I am lucky I am still working! These are difficult times. Thank you for all of these healthy habits I will definitely start using them. Have a wonderful day! 😊💞
Thank you and I'm glad to see the video was helpful for you. :) Take good care, things will get better!
Lovely uplifting video👍🏻thanks Veera🌸
So happy to hear it! :) Thanks Neelsha 🤗🌷
These times had a really bad impact on me. My grades went down i feel sad and unmotivated all the time. I’m really trying to keep it together but uts just so hard.
I love Native! I started using them about 3 months now. Thanks for the video Vera. Need to incorporate more healthy habits especially during these times. I meditate, but not as often as I should. I like guided meditations by The Mindful Christian. Also love doing Yoga with Adrienne!
Thanks Ngoni!! :) Hope you're doing well and it's nice to see you're taking care and also doing yoga :D
@@SimpleHappyZen I am doing well thanks to God. Yes, I love doing yoga. Glad to always see your videos. Take care!
This was positive, relaxing & encouraging! I am watching again now to note down all of these healthy habits :) :) Thank you! I LOVED this!! I am an introvert as well, so these 10 things helped me so much. I wrote all of them down and it makes me so happy. I have tried the wall stretch with legs on wall and it is super relaxing :) I esp love the part too, about eating well & escaping through reading, board games, etc. I have been reading a lot more, and knitting more, too. I knit dishcloths, scrubbies, and now, I want to make a simple set of coasters to set my cup on as I hydrate all day long! Be well, & I so appreciate you and your tips, Vera :)
Aw thank you for your kind comment Julie, I'm so happy to hear this video was helpful for you! I have tried knitting in the past and found it very relaxing. Although the scarf I tried to knit turned out more like a flag haha. Take care!
@@SimpleHappyZen Knitting IS very calming:) A scarf was the very first thing that I learned to knit! I just did regular garter stitch until it was the width that I wanted, then just repeated that over and over until I reached my desired length. (update: I have since donated my scarves though, because I found that I just do not wear them often enough ;) Our winter season in MO is fairly short (Dec-March) I dream of visiting the Netherlands someday
I love you, Vera. I always feel that you are genuine and sincere. May ALLAH bless you. Greetings from Egypt
I really like your videos.
I would be happy if you can do a video about meditation. What is your meditation routine? Do you listen to meditation music or even guided meditation?
Thank you!! :) Actually I do a bunch of different things, thinking about making a video about it soon :)
Thank you :)
You're very welcome Madison 🤗
Thank you so much for sharing! Great tips! I have been working at home and yes, my back hurts a little so I am going to lay on my back with my feet up right now!!!😊
So glad you enjoyed the video!! :) Did the back-tip help?
@@SimpleHappyZen Yes! And I ended up doing 2 yoga practices with Adriene too. I found her on UA-cam a few years ago and she's great! But I've been away from yoga for a while. So I'm so glad you mentioned her!!
Great suggestions. I follow Flylady so I dress (usually jeans and Tshirt) with shoes each day.
Thanks for sharing Charla! :) Take care!
Great tips Vera. 💜 I of course would love another what I eat in a day video but realize I’m in the minority. 💜
Thank you Tina! :) Maybe I'll do a poll haha, to ask people if they would be interested
Content suggestion: could you please make a video of “what you eat in a day”, or “healthy, simple (easy to cook) dishes”.. that we can eat during the lockdown. As nowadays (in India), access to ingredients has also reduced a lot. So what can we cook using basic ingredients easily available. 😊 (PS: I know this is not a cooking channel as such, but still, I would love to see a cooking-related video from you. 🤗) thanks a lot for being here with us, during the tough time! 😇
I was thinking to suggest the same! 👏👏👏
Thanks so much for your suggestion!! I have made a What I eat in a day video in the past, if you haven't seen it yet: ua-cam.com/video/PvlYUHV9v9s/v-deo.html Although all the ingredients might not be available right now, it could work well for inspiration :) They are easy and yummy meals
Simple Happy Zen Thank you Vera, I will check it out.. 😇🤗
The hardest thing is not being able to walk around freely :( I rarely sit in a day usually. My body is not liking sitting down!
Yeah we need to make sure we're not sitting all day...
Thanks for all of these awesome recommendations!!
You're so welcome Temmie, glad you enjoyed them! :)
Vera, thank you for your soothing video. I very much enjoyed your nature scenes. So calming.
I liked your hair in the side braid.
I would like to see a video from you about meditation.
Oh yes, I am decluttering. Love to do that!
Thanks so much Audrey, that's so sweet :) Glad you enjoyed the video!! Take care
As usual a wonderful video presented in such a lovely calming way, thank you for sharing xxx
Aw thank you Tann 🤗🌟🌷
Please yes more content on meditation..i can't shut of my brain.i justthink too much..for example...smile
I am trying to meditate or doing some yoga at least once a day. Sometimes it is nice to just sitt in silence. Plum village, the buddistic tradition that I follow have started to live send (here on UA-cam) the munks meditation so that you can join in with them, that is nice to do when it suits my schedule. But of I feel very stressed it is also nice to do a guided meditation, did one with the Sangha (meditationgroup) on compassion (via zoom) starting with growing compassion for yourself, then for your loved ones then for people that are neutral for you and lastly for people that you struggle with. It was such a nice thing to do at this time! Both for growing the compassion to yourself right now that things are though but then widening the circle.
But when I go to work (which I will continue with after Easter) I use to sitt for 8-10 min in the morning, would be nice to have a guided morning meditation for you to start my day with. That maybe focus on grounding myself so when I leave the house to meet a lot of emotions news and so on that I can be solid in myself and in that way also meet others in a better way and not be swept away in their emotions.
Take care!
Thanks so much for sharing Siri and I've tried those meditation types before too! :)
Hi Vera!!! Thank you for this video.. It's really important to know how to spend time during this social challenge, as I'd like to call it. Yes.. I meditate everyday from almost 2 months now but... In the last days I can't go over 10 minutes I don't know why. I always listen to 528 hz music while I'm meditating.. It really helps me to spread gratitude and focus. Do you use to listen to something while you meditate? Do you practice meditation from when? I do yoga too and I'm trying to organize all my fotos in the cloud.. Like you I used to work often from home so nothing has changed more or less but now I'm spending more time gardening with my husband 😍😍 thank you for all the suggestion. I'd really appreciate a video about your style of meditation.
Thank you so much Chiara and I think I'll share the answers to your questions in the meditation video :) But I also love listening to 528 hz music, both when meditating as well as when I'm working
Would love meditation video and breathing . Thank you as always for all good tips. 🥰🙏🏻
Thanks Lucy!! I think I'll make the video :) Have a lovely day
Could you post your meditation routine. How do you meditate? Do you use an app etc
Thanks for your suggestion Colleen! :) I think I'll make a video about it :)
Happy Easter Vera🐇🥕🐣 Definitely leisure wear during this time of staying in & staying safe!👍🏻 #r&r #appreciateyou💖
Happy Easter!! 🤗🌷
Perfect timing with this video
Glad to hear it Ethan :) Take care!
Yes, I would enjoy more mindfulnesscontent, like meditations (I love your calm voice!), maybe some yoga for lazy persons during the day, sustainability, goal setting, visualization, mindful eating habits, mindful cooking...
Great suggestions!!! Thanks Alice 🤗🌱
Love this and shared. I'm like you, when I'm home I'll wear cute pj pants with a matching t shirt, put my hair in a bun or side braid and put on some makeup. It makes me feel put together but relaxed and comfy at the same time. I meditate at night. I'll lay in my bed under the covers all comfy and put on a guided meditation, I've also started doing some yoga and am going to try quigong as well. Lots of love and hugs and stay safe and healthy!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💚💚💚💚💚💚
Sounds so great 🤗🌟 I've also done Qigong (don't know the correct way to spell this haha) and it's really awesome
A lot of comfy sweaters and leggings happening here. Doing yoga daily too. I would love a video on meditation. This is a new practice for me and would love to learn how you do it.
I love the comfy sweaters and leggings 😄
I would follow a nice gentle yoga session. Perhaps a video idea? Adriene rules! But I also like you. Stay safe xxx
Great video and information as always. Please provide more meditation videos. I am meditation and yoga now which is new to me both. 💘. Be safe and well. Xoxo
Thanks so much Joselin !! 🤗🌱🌾
Het jou wonderlike video so geniet. Ek is baie depressief en om in die huis te wees die hele tyd maak my so depressief. Danie vir jou liefde en omgee. Liefde van Suid Africa
Dankjewel voor je lieve comment Anneke en ik hoop dat je je snel beter voelt. Sterkte!
Hi Vera, I have been watching your videos for a awhile and I love them all. Can you also film some video about your daily lifestyle. Thanks 😊
Thanks so much Jasmine :) And thanks for your suggestion! Actually I've been thinking about filming a day in the life video, but I need to think about a way to make it interesting enough to watch and a way that the video will provide value. A normal day for a youtuber like me is basically sitting behind the laptop haha. But I'll definitely keep thinking about it and I'll try some things.
Hi Vera, I hope you had happy Easter. Everything good here. I have been at home for 4 weeks, but the weather is lovely on my balcony. I do notice that I am getting bored a bit, don't really feel like doing anything. How do you do meditating when your friend is at home? I myself find that difficult = when he is at home I don't do it.
Thanks for sharing :) Actually it's easy for me because my boyfriend also meditates. So he understands, and usually we do it together at the same time. But if he's home and not meditating, I just tell him I'm going to be in our bedroom for 20 minutes :) I understand it's trickies when you're not home alone. Take good care!
Content about Meditation would be great! And one question I have is if you ever struggled with headaches or dizzyness during Meditation and if you have any ideas what to do against those? I tried getting into the habit of meditation many times but everytime I get a headache and feel so dizzy that I have to stop. I couldnt really find an answer online either other that Im apparently not the only one with this Problem.
Thanks for your suggestion! Actually I don't have any experience with getting headaches or feeling dizzy... I will do a quick search online if I make the video. I do know that meditation is about balance. Between active awareness and finding ease. So not forcing too hard, and also not letting things go too much. Sometimes when people try too hard to focus during meditation, they can start to furrow their brows and tense their muscles. Perhaps that's what going on. You could try doing something else, for example a guided bodyscan meditation, while you're lying on your bed. That way you might be more relaxed in your muscles. And the bodyscan forces you to focus on different areas in your body, so maybe you'll be more conscious about letting go of any tension
@@SimpleHappyZen thank you for the suggestions ill try it out soon! Also thanks for your amazing Videos
Thanks for the vid! 🌸🌸🌸
You're so welcome, thank you and take care!
As always, great tips!!! I’m a leisure wear kind of girl, but I can see value in both.
Also, like you, I have been reading a lot. I read and reread, “goodbye things” by Fumio Sasaki based on your recommendation. It’s a great read. Thought provoking. Motivating.
Thank you, also for mentioning sleep. So important.
I’m doing well. Stay safe. ❤️
Thanks so much for sharing Corinna and I'm so glad you're liking Goodbye things!! :D
It is great! I am listening to the audiobook.
I bought the book first, then, I got the Audiobook and listen to it while I’m decluttering. 😊
Athleisure! Minimal makeup/jewelry and fix hair. This way I'm always ready to workout (walk outside, indoor stationary bike) and also look presentable for video chats.
I love it! Haha perfect balance
I would love some discussion on meditation. I find it hard to discipline myself to meditate daily under normal circumstances. I actually have not done it during lockdown at all which is counter intuitive. I love your videos. Stay safe. By the way I’ve been using Native deodorant for at least 2 years and I love it.
So happy you also enjoy the Native deodorants! :) I really love them. About meditation, I can relate, it's harder for me to stick to doing it regularly in periods when I need it the most. Just try to do your best, that's all you can do :) Take care!!
I hope you can make more money saving tips video. :)
Thanks Anna! I have a video about money saving tips, but I'm thinking you've seen that already? :)
i love your videos!! so calming and soothing. im addicted. hehe 😍 out of the topic question Vera.. is the equipment you use in your current videos still the same? like the camera for doing videos? I am planning to buy a camera that is also good for making youtube videos but cheap. 😊 thanks! I watch your videos every single day. thank you so much
Hi! Thank you so much :) About your question, yes it's still the same. :) I have everything that I use listed here: simplehappyzen.com/about-me/making-simple-happy-zen-videos/ and I still shoot with my Samsung phone :)
Thanks alot Vera for these useful and handy tips ... stay safe :)
You're so welcome, thanks for leaving a comment and take care!! Enjoy your weekend
@@SimpleHappyZen haha my manager will love you on the Punch in , punch out thingy xD
Hahaha well then I'd say he or she needs to realize that employees are allowed to have boundaries as well :D
I miss my boyfriend. Can't see him until the situation gets better :'(
Aw that must be hard sometimes... Keep your chin up and take care💕
@@SimpleHappyZen Okay ^_^ *chin up*
Me too😥
i would love a video about meditation. I already tried it but i can't concentrate...
Try these videos. They're very old, but they could be helpful: ua-cam.com/video/7XWCnqfb8rQ/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/jTzhXfIlQf0/v-deo.html
I love Native deoderant!,just ordered more plus their soaps and body wash.
That's awesome! Yes I was pleasantly surprised with the scents and how long they continue to work
Simple Happy Zen yes!...I have tried a number of natural deodorants and this one is the first that really works and it smells amazing!
Who’s here during the second lockdown?
Me! 😄
I love native! On my 2 box of deodorant
That's awesome! I was really surprised by how good they smell and how long they keep me fresh
My sister got some and didn't like it so she gave it to me and I love it. I will definitely order again.
Thank you for sharing✌💛☺
You're very welcome Wanda 🤗🌟
Hi Vera leisure wear for me every time!! I’m struggling to read and relax because my husband is at home he doesn’t seem to like time by himself any suggestions without hurting his feelings?? We have been busy de cluttering and organising but most of it is done now !
I get 20 minutes to myself in a morning for meditation but that’s it 🧘♀️ I use headspace and have been with them since they started I highly recommend to anyone starting out great video as usual 🤗
Hi Therese! Oh yes I love headspace too. It's great that you're meditating in the morning. About your hubby, maybe just try explaining that having alone time every now and then helps you, and explain the benefits it has for you. If you place emphasis on the fact that it helps you to be alone, instead of placing emphasis on him (so not saying you want him to be around less, but just that you want to be alone every now and then), it shouldn't hurt his feelings. If you know what I mean :)
Simple Happy Zen thanks for the advice Vera I will try it your very kind 🤗
Great tips!
Thank you Sarah 🤗🌻
When it's my turn to work from home, I stay in my pajamas till lunch time. Then I'll change.
Ah sounds good!!! 😄
I wish to see a declutter or a Clean with me video😊👖👗👙👠👜👚👢👕😘
Thanks Yoshi! I recently made a Declutter with me video where I declutter my jewelry: ua-cam.com/video/JMCsdHD1Sn0/v-deo.html
Love from India
Thank you!! 🤗🌟
Did you say that you shot your own video footage with your phone? But those nature footage look like they are stock footage, they look professional taken by special lenses. How come?
Hi! :) Yes I shoot all my own footage with my phone. I also have a small point and shoot camera for some b-roll. But I also use royalty free stock footage that I have a paid license for, to spice up my videos :) It allows me to show all kinds of things that I wouldn't be able to shoot myself.
Deodorant without aluminum sounds nice even though I personally do not use deodorant. I am strongly concerned with aluminum when aluminum contacts human body because aluminum is a heavy metal that is toxic to human. People also have to use aluminum free cooking wares. You don't want to ingest aluminum inadvertently.
I also practice meditation like you do. I meditate twice a day. I sometimes listen to solfeggio music while meditating.
Thanks so much for sharing Hiroyuki-san :) Have a great day!
Hello! Thank you for this video
Hi Emi! Thanks so much and thanks for your questions. I find it a bit difficult to answer them, because things are different for each country. For example, health insurance is mandatory here, everyone has to have it. About electricity, it sounds like you're already doing great things, I would suggest doing a google search for how to lower electricity in your country, because then you'll see tips from other people who live in a similar situation that deals with everything being electric. Again, that's very different here. Sorry I couldn't be of more help :) Good luck!
@@SimpleHappyZen Thats ok :.D Thanx for reading it anyway. Have a nice day!
I wish I had seen this sooner. I panicked and called my son to come and get me. Big mistake I now have panic attacks every day. SIGH😢
I'm so sorry to hear that Ann. Maybe watch this video, I watched it and found it quite helpful ua-cam.com/video/YuGGa7GIA74/v-deo.html
Yo! Shout out for Yoga with Adriene! Try it, you wont regret it xxx
Haha definitely! She's been my yoga teacher for 4 years now
Again Lockdown 😛
Did you cry before filming the video? 😯😘
Haha huh? No 😂 Why do you ask?
You are so sweet. I wonder why the tongue ring? Distracting.
It's not really a complement when you pepper it with unkind criticism. It's her body, and you don't have to stare at her tongue...
After several months of watching this channel, I never even noticed! And I will probably not notice again. Not a bit distracting .
