great vid thanks! my Tiguan was hit from rear last month in car park incident...the ?"?$$ driver disappeared of course :(( the problem is minor cosmetic plastics though so I will try to fix myself, not worth going to insurance maybe I can diy.....the problem is that whatever hit it was very low and has prised/popped the lower black chin section of the trim away from the main colourcoded upper section...I was going to take whole assembly off like you to put on bench and reseat the two sections together again but I'm wondering if I have to do this...maybe I can achieve while it's all still attached to the car? anyway thanks for showing me the main tricks!
Yes you can fit the lower spoiler with the bumper on...but you need pacience🙃 and wd40 ...get under the car and stick your hand behind the bumper to hold it and then tap in the spoiler...but if i whas in your shoes i take the bumper of to ceck the back panel,reinforcement and p. @@ADrowning moust vag group bumpers come with no holes or parking sensor brakets...so make sure you have new brakets,some are plastic glued some have dublle side tape...have a look on my videos and must be one with how to fit p sensors to a Skoda bumper...you need a special tool to drill the holes😪
@@mikedietrich6945 hi...if you take your time you can remove the lower side but will be nearly imposible to put it back on😅,because the bumper will flex and you dont have acces to get your hand inside to hold against...is easy to get it off as a complet unit...thx for watching sir

Thanks for the video. It was the closest I could get to a 2020 Jetta GLI. The bumpers and fasteners were similar and helped me a lot!

Is there a way to remove the lower portion of the bumper? Or does it all have to come off then separate the lower portion?
