Yesterday I spent a couple hours walking up a local creek, and I found enough agate and chalcedony to fill up a dinner plate. A lot of them have quartz crystal centers. Some have a light pink or purple tint, and some are blue. If you visit the PNW again I have some awesome spots I could show you in Skamania County WA. ☺️
That's awesome and very generous of you. Yes, WA is absolutely on my list of places to return to. The blue and pink chalcedony is pretty sought after if I remember right from my time there!
@@ThirdPlanetRocks I grew up and still live in the middle of the Columbia River Gorge, and I love showing people around my basalt homeland 😄 I found agates in driveways and by the road at the fairgrounds in the middle of town
Great fun thank you for taking us with!
Of course! Itching to get back up to Minnesota sometime soon

Beautiful part of the country, hope you keep exploring it!
@3:02 that rock would definitely make it into my collection of rocks with faces, great video!
There's a good chance it's still on that beach. Schroeder, MN - Thank you! (And great to still see you hanging around the channel!)
Really nice hunt. Such a wealth of beauty. So good you have a fine friend to share it with.
Always a bonus when I can take her along!
Yay you're back
Hey Paulie - cool to see you stuck around
Very pretty stones
Thank you! I hope to give most of them away over the years
Some beautiful finds! Man the flies and mosquitoes are nuts up there!
Thanks Dustin, and yeah… they’re a force up here. Bug spray is completely useless on the flies
Will you be sharing some cutting videos to show us what's hidden inside some of those beauties? Sure wish you would...😊
Shh... don't ruin the surprise just yet! Coming late Summer/early Fall.
You guys looks so cute together ❤❤❤❤
Thanks Miko! Good to see you around
Ya buddy 🙌
“Never gonna see her again…” lol 😂
Man, they both needed hiker boots in the worse way climbing down. Safety first.
You should see some of the places I’ve been barefoot 🫣
Is it or isn’t it? Some people call those “magates”….. maybe agates.
They are certainly magates. The final area in particular produced a whole bunch of them that were like that
