@@j.s.5180 For you it may not have, but remember the amount of effort things take people vary, the amount of energy people have varies, and those numbers can also vary on a momentary basis.
For me this looks like an amazing breakfast, but it means making sure I have everything for it bought in and that the perishables haven't gone off, then have the motivation to eat in the first place, the motivation to spend time and energy cooking it all, and at the end of it sometimes the motivation to eat has just gone and the effort feels wasted.
So, I'm glad it was something you could throw together with ease, and I promise you a lot of people wish it was that easy for them.

Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 red apple
2 tablespoons yogurt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup oats
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Optional: honey for drizzling
Instructions:
Grate half of the red apple and set aside the other half.
In a mixing bowl, combine the grated apple, yogurt, and cinnamon. Mix well.
Add the oats to the mixture and mix until incorporated. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow the oats to soak.
While the oats are soaking, chop the other half of the apple and set aside.
In a small pan over medium heat, add the chopped apple, oats, and chopped walnuts. Toast until the apple is slightly softened and the mixture is fragrant.
In a bowl, spread out the oat mixture.
Top with the toasted apple and walnut mixture, and add extra yogurt if desired.
Optional: drizzle honey over the top before serving. Enjoy your quick and easy one dollar breakfast.

For all of my lactose intolerant buds out there, what I did, was replaced the yogurt with homemade apple sauce.
Recipe: bring 2cups of water to a boil, and add 1 chopped apple. When the apple is soft, add a dash of cinnamon and let it boil for a few more minutes. Then if you want, you can either add the oats in that, or add them after blending.
For the lazy peeps, just add some pre-made applesauce and cinnamon to the oats and you should be good 👍

When I’m not in the mood for cooking, mostly what that means is that I’m not in the mood for doing dishes. I’m not gonna wash multiple bowls, a knife, cutting board, the grate thing, and a pan 😅 When I’m lazy and want to make this I’d probably just make oatmeal in the microwave and eat an apple on the side lol. Not lazy breakfast , french toast, baked oats, pancakes , korean traditional breakfast, sandwitch with veggies and eggs, toast with scramble eggs, smoothie with toast, baked or stove cooked fruits with cereal or oats...

I additionally add Maple Syrup and blueberries. Also, I make something called the blueberry yogurt because I don't really like the taste of plain yogurt. Basically what I do is after my frozen blueberries start losing colour in the bowl I put them in, I remove the blueberries and add in the yogurt with a little bit of sugar. Tastes amazing.

I suggest you traditional Balkan breakfast called pura or kačamak. It's not that quick but it is lazy. Boil two cups of water and dump one cup of corn flour in it (salt the water). Do not stir at all just make a small hole in the middle, cover it and let it cook for 30-40 minutes. Few minutes before its done cooking melt some butter and add it in and start stiring vigorously for a few minutes until it becomes solid mass without mass. If you want it more creamy just add a bit more water before. Serve it hot and mix in some cheese, milk, yogurt or sour cream with it.
