I have found that for your turning tool, if you twist the two ends of the handle together, it helps make it more rigid and you get more feedback from picking.
If I ever am in a situation where I dont have my picks and have to improvise picks from paper clips it will be my luck that I'll make the picks and find out that the lock is a high end medico or abus lol.
That was the exact situation I was in just the other day 😂 my coworker locked herself out of her locker, so I'm getting ready to rake open that cheap lock with my trusty paperclip lockpicking set and I come to find out she's the only one in the entire locker room with an abus lock...

Until the landlord fixes the fuse box and all the electrical stuff that I have to keep resetting 5 times a week, it's only fair compensation that I take the coins from his coin-operated washer and dryer. Plus I could definitely use the quarters.

If you have a bad enough lock you can skip over the actual pick and use a zip tie as a rake

Yes, another lock without security pins in it. Locks of that type (Euro lock) will have security pins in them. Real picks will be needed. Click Bait.
