Great review Dan you're getting very good at assembling these bikes now you're a professional. I think you're right Mazzy about the colour it does looks like a pearl orange in the sunlight. it looks great with the black very stylish.

Great bikes, I have the same one in the blue and have fitted a twist grip throttle and unplugged the white wire to derestrict it and she flys! On the throttle alone without pedalling it will do 28mph 😀

Another great video Dan love the look of the bike. All I would say to people is please dont bring the battery into your house to charge overnight charge it during the day when your at home because there has been so many house fires

Got mine last week,first ride out yesterday over the moon with it,as I have mobility issues wasn't sure if would be ok but Thankfully I was wrong it was very nice n easy to ride

Hey Dan, the 15mph limit is only for what the bike will do on its own power, using the throttle, not when being peddled.
Some ebikes only come with PAS sensor others with a torque sensor if your bike is PAS sensor then I would fit the throttle there’s a short delay when pushing of until the motor kicks in it’s very useful when starting off as it helps getting the bike moving. If that bike has hydraulic brakes care is needed when taking off or installing the wheels to make sure you don’t operate the brakes inadvertently as it will force the brake pads to close you’ll have a job then to install the wheel. Cool colour.

Hi Dan & Mazzy, a bit of info on the E bike laws. You can have Throttles but the speed when used must be a max of 15.5 mph (most manufactures will have capped the throttle to that speed). To use an E bike throttle it must have "type approval", this is usually done by the manufacture and there should be a sticker/plate with the type appoval number.
Therefore I believe if these companies are reputable, then using the supplied throttle is perfectly legal. This is on the Government website electric bike rules.
Cool.
But if this isn't the 250 watt motor then not putting the throttle on won't make any difference because having anything bigger than 250 watts is still illegal.

It’s not your height that governs your fit to the bike…it’s your inside leg, or inseam leg measurement. I’m five foot six, but need a bike to accommodate a tiny 29 inch inside length, but I think the Kommoda would do.

Enjoyed this review,i have 2 foldable ebike's which i will be taking with me to spain for 2 months.Miss my motorhome i had in 2005,but after watching you lovely 2 ,made me want get another one.Also that charger you reviewed,do you think it could charge my electric car dan? debs xx 🧌
