    It is amazing that a boat that size with such a small wake at that speed.

    Hydrofoils were invented by the British and fully developed by the Soviets, not Swedes.

      Over 100 years ago this was, I think. His parent's house is about 50 Km from where I live; it is now a museum. My wife lived in the house across the street from there. Small world.

    I wonder how with such a weak front sensor, it controls position of the main foil... is it electrically controlled¡?

    Thanks Ray I did not know the hydrofoil was a Swedish invention...

    • @ArchonLicht
      @ArchonLicht 9 років тому +5

      Walkertongdee I don't think they mean to say they invented hydrofoils per se. They mean they invented this particular kind of hydrofoil technology, that allows one to achieve elevation at a lower speeds, and have less rolling - more stability - during transit.

      @@ArchonLicht A Scottish-Canadian worked on hydrofoils over 100 years ago on the Bras Dor lakes in Nova Scotia. My family and I visited the place when my sons were young.

    Dear Mr. Ray Vellinga,
    Is it possible to obtain Mr. Alexander Sahlin contact information.
    My interest is to purchase the construction plans from this boat in order to build it.
    Regards,
    Jimmy

      There are two options:
      1) guy is dead.
      2) some company bought concept, and hidden deep away.
