FYI for newcomers: In the tablet's joystick options, there are 2 very important settings: 1. Reverse throttle is set to be part of the main throttle control (if you bring the throttle stick back to around 0 it will activate the reversers), so you might want to disable that if you'd rather use something else for reverse throttle. 2. There's an important deadzone setting there as well that you may want to adjust to your liking. (Default setting makes the plane unpleasant to land) I suggest you go through each and every setting on that tablet and make sure everything is where you want it to be. Thanks Osamah! Love your videos!

You are always polite, friendly, passionate and such a great help to the community!. It's also so good to have you back too! Thank you so much for all you do Q8!
Glad to see you back, captain! I was really hoping you would do a tutorial on the new A350 update, and to my surprise, you did! Thanks for the quality content! :)
Amazing tutorial. I remember learning how the 350 worked a long time ago, only to find out it lacked sids and stars. The new update is absolutely fantastic and revives the a/c to the state it should’ve been then. I now enjoy this plane quite a bit, really fun plane to fly. This is a fantastic tutorial for those learning the basics! Keep up the good work :)
May I ask a "noob" question... compared to the A320 in XP11, that bird does an amazing managed descent where I basically let AP do everything all the way to the approach. I've noticed when learning to fly this A350 (and I do have the latest beta update), it's not really a managed descent... or at least I am doing it wrong. When it's time to descend, I typically place my altitude bug to where my ILS alt says to be, but then my A350 never follows my flight plan and always descends way too early... am I doing it wrong (compared to A320 I never really had to manage my descent).
Definitely a top notch tutorial as usual and my top flight simmer. Your videos are helpful, relaxing and straight to the point. I’ve been subscribed for years because of your great content. Super useful tutorial as I step back from bug chasing in MSFS and focus again on XP11, which seems to be stable and accurate on SIDs/STARs. I just needed to quickly get acquainted with the Airbus FMS and FD/AP after flying the 787. Mission accomplished. 👍
As always Sam a great, informative video which is clear to follow. Just ventured into the darkness that is the Scarebus with this one and couldn't work out how to add the airways. A few mins of your video and I now know how to do it. Such a shame that the detailed FF briefing document does not contain a practice flight for newbies like me. Good job we have you in the community keeping us informed. Best wishes to you and your family my friend.
Another good video! If you want to get rid of the reverser issue with the throttle, you go to the left panel, click on the JOYSTICK OPTIONS at the bottom of the drop-down menu (under AIRPLANE AND GROUND SERVICE) and deselect the REVERSER ON SAME AXIS radio button. That gets rid of it. Oops - someone beat me to it already. Ok, there you go!
Great job Sam, sir. I've never picked this bird up previously, due to the lack of SID/STARs. However after seeing your great preview here I think I'll pick it up.
A very much needed update for the 350, it wasnt that annoying using xfmc but it really ruined the immersion. I'm sure with this update we are going to see a lot more people flying the 350 on vatsim. Great video again Osama!

Fantastic video to say the least - all your content is so good! Thanks for doing this quickly a complete video on the updated FF a350. One question that might be basic but this is the first Airbus aircraft I'm learning to pilot: how did you set the climb thrust (21:43)? I didn't set it and AP1 would turn off a couple of times within 5min or so (I ended up the flight there, mostly because I wanted to practice the ground setup for now). Thanks!
A little late watching it, but good video. One issue I saw towards the beginning was the four switches you switched on you indicated were the fuel pump switches, they were actually the hydraulic switches. The fuel pumps are below them which were already on. That's an issue that I have with the FF A350, the overhead isn't set up correctly. There's a script on the Org that correctly sets up the overhead for a cold and dark start.
I can't wait to bring out my A350 videos, looks really nice. All the stages of your preparations are well set up and easy to follow. I love flying this plane, rather smooth and quiet. is there anything about this plane that you really like about this aircraft? 36:00 beautiful approach and awesome landing sir...well done
Question.. Been "flying" these sims for sometime now and you've given me quite the head scratcher with this tutorial. Everything makes perfect sense with the exception of the ILS32L approach you selected. How can the approach course be 115? That's approx 140 degs in the opposite direction. Even though the current navdata shows a new frequency of 109.3 for LFBO 32L, it's approach course is 323deg. How does your example work with such a difference in approach course?

Engaging the second AP arms the Autoland feature and all the pilot must do is disengage the auto throttle when the flare begins. The AP will keep the airplane on (near) the center line. you mean reduce thrust when is doing the flare, engaging second autopilot is a procedure even if your doing a manual landing and disconnect at some point to do the manual landing. enjoy
@@waynesweet4336 the autothrottle automatically disconects when you reduce thrust to idle and that happens from 40ft to 30ft above the ground(manualy). if you disconects the autothrust it will go where the blue "donuts" are selected as it becomes manual thrust, if you are doing manual thrust landing from the beggining of the approach you have to select 21% of the thrust on the A350. @@toshiba2243 OK got that now. I read some of the A350 manual where it talks about that aspect. Another problem I bumped into is if I get the taxi speed up to 40knts, the brakes do not slow the plane at all. I'm careful now not to taxi that fast. I discovered this by trying to slow the plane on landing. I have since reverted to using the HI setting on auto braking and letting the plane completely slow to a crawl. Don't know if it's just my setup or if others have the same issue.
@@waynesweet4336 Sorry way long time for the answer....taxi speed is 30 knots to avoid brakes temperature increase on the real plane and about the BTV no need to put it on high just low or you can look for a video and watch how to set it up as typing it will take some time you can cancel the autobrake by applying some thrust in the sim I think don't remember on the real life you press the 2 red buttons on the side of the thrust levers twice so it doesn't scream AUTO BRAKE OFF lol that little annoying. i wish you would have gone into more detail is togo mode automatic or is the a switch. how do you descend what do you push ? how do you activate ils? ect a tutorial needs to be step by step otherwise its just a guide.
Why have you given the aircraft such a low price-worthiness (in some comments you said it is worth 39 dollars)? If textures are the only problem but systems are all simulated correctly and it feels like flying a real FBW plane, and even avionics are on point, why isn't it worth the full price yet?
Sound is terrible, textures not there and in terms of systems the MCDU is still far from complete. Many features still not modeled. All in all, it is very expensive for what it offers.
No one knows, but if V2 will be payware what I assume you most likely will only pay for the V2 update as a V1 owner and wont need to buy the entire V2 aircraft again
I have this problem when i upload my flight plan my frames dropps from 60 to 13 does this apply for everyone or just me, Also is there any way to fix it please?
The textures still look pretty bad. However, better than previous. Hopefully, they put a lot of effort into the v2, to bring it to the same level as the 757/767 with texturing, systems, etc. It does have potential, and I just hope that FF don't rush the v2 update like they did when first making it.
Great video, thank you so much. Something happens every time I landed this aircraft: after landing, i can't turn right or left to exit runway, when I release the reversers below 80knots and toggle brake, nothing works. Using X53 Pro as Jostick. Can help me to find what is wrong. Thanks in advance.

I'm still going to buy this aircraft, but which cloud plug-in do you use, the clouds are perfect. Thanks
Nice flight....
Hey dude nice video! Could you please tell me what your PC specs is?
You can find all my specs in more recent video descriptions or via my discord.
IS POSSIBLE TO UPLINK THE WINDS TO THE WIND FMS PAGE FROM ANY SOURCE OR FLIGHT PLAN ??
If I don't want to manually enter the flight plan, can I simply generate ofp from sim brief and enter that into "company route" then add the sid/stars etc? or is it better to enter manually, thanks!
congratulations on the video, which folder do I have to access to update the FF A350 airac?
Ahhhhhh yessss
Thank you so much for the video, i wanna buy this aircraft, but how is it going with the fps? comparing with the zibo for example
I didn't quite catch how look at the zfw and zfwcg, if anyone tells me it would help me
i wish you would have gone into more detail is togo mode automatic or is the a switch. how do you descend what do you push ? how do you activate ils? ect a tutorial needs to be step by step otherwise its just a guide.
This video is mainly done to show the SIDS and STAR setup. It assumes you have some basic knowledge of how to fly the aircraft.
I really wish these videos would zoom in to the MCU so we can actually SEE what you're putting into it....
bro I cant twist the heading and altitude buttons by the mouse it dose not work
Nice..like FS2020...
kinda =)
What's the difference between IHA and EIWR on the LS config?
Hello, my SID didnt appear when i enter the route and runways
Why have you given the aircraft such a low price-worthiness (in some comments you said it is worth 39 dollars)?
If textures are the only problem but systems are all simulated correctly and it feels like flying a real FBW plane, and even avionics are on point, why isn't it worth the full price yet?
Sound is terrible, textures not there and in terms of systems the MCDU is still far from complete. Many features still not modeled. All in all, it is very expensive for what it offers.
Does anybody know why when i try to manually control the plane it wouldn't move?
Does the TCA Quadrant work with this aircraft?
Can anyone tell me please if the GOODWAY FIGHT PLANNER WORKS with this copy of the A350 ,Thanks for the help all !
What is platform altitude? And where can I get that from my flight plan? I'm a newbie on the a350
Platform altitude = Initial approach altitude. It is available in the approach plate chart.
I have just downloaded 1.6.8 and can't zoom out from the panel as you do. When I try all I see is the back of chairs. How do you do it?
I use x-Camera.
Why did they make the wing look like something from an aircraft of the 60's? In reality its completely white and looks clean.
Flight Factor signature =)
What was the name of the music at the beggining ?
If you click on the icon Flightplan info its got a up arrow i wonder if this takes you to the top of the plan
No it will not, you have to cycle manually.
You should of used the flight number 2222
So “flight 2222 to Toulouse”
Do you input THS value in the mcdu ?
I'd really like to get this plane. If I buy this version will I have to purchase V2 when it comes out?
V2 will probably at par with the 757/767 in terms of texture quality.
whether the smartcopilot config available for this plane?
Wish I could fly this plane was really excited to fly it but it keeps crashing X-Plane on me. hopefully FF will figure out the problem soon
So everything works before take off and doesn't work after landing?
@@Q8Pilot Exactly! I have those issues after landing.
What do you use for the camera and shakes?
X Camera and XPRealistic
i bought the plane and i cant controll it on the ground iam a mouse player on xplane11
Why aren't there any sids/stars for Istanbul's new airport in this plane's fmc
Are you sure you have the latest AIRAC database?
@@Q8Pilot Uhmm, idk actually😂, where can I check that
@@Q8Pilot I'm sorry I'm kinda new to all of this
how to download aircraft into Xplane 11?
hello frm kuwait
Hello there my friend!
Has anybody else noticed how tiny the pilot figures are?
