Just took mine in for the 600 mile service yea... its expensive...yes im 100% capable of doing the work and have all the tools, its a brand new bike so i did it for peace of mind pretty much.
Good reasoning for dealer service. Nice guys at San Antonio Motorworks and I'll hover and get as much info as I can about how to do the oil change etc... for next time. I like to try doing my own maintenance as I've got 4 bikes and dealers are too pricey for basic crappola. Thanks again and ride safe

$169 for a first service? Is this video from 1955? No first service is that cheap. You were totally ripped off. They probably checked your tire pressure for that price.
I was told almost 400 for first service
I’m near Washington DC and my dealer quoted me around $420 out the door for the first service. I think it’s just too expensive but will likely just end up doing it there just for my peace of mind and because it’s the most important service for the engine.
I was told $1200 for my first service
I was told $8,400 for my first service…….
Was told 350 dude. Its insane my friend got quoted $11,000 for his firstservice @fastdude2002
They have to make some type of money for labor
