- Easy food prep for the week is what I will be sharing with you today. Food prep is the best way to be consistent, stay organized and stay on track. Everything you see in this video is WFPB and starch solution compliant. Food prep is one of the keys to losing weight and optimal health. This easy food prep video will be a game changer.

NEW CHEESE SAUCE
INGREDIENTS
3 cups chopped cauliflower frozen or fresh
1 cup frozen butternut squash
3 T nutritional yeast
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1 1/2 T cashew powder
1 tsp. white vinegar (optional)
squeeze of lemon
1 1/2 cups of the water from the steamer
Add cauliflower and butternut squash to a microwave steamer, for 10 minutes or steam on stove top until veggies are really soft.
Once veggies are done add everything into a blender and blend well

I try to make extra too. That way I often don't have to cook. I love having a big bag of brocolli florets in the freezer, then when I need some greens in my food, I just reach in and take a handful to add to my meal. Great video.

when u peel those spuds for hubby, u could toss the peels into your cheese sauce. just so their nutrition is not wasted.

Food prep 😊. It’s Sunday and I’m doing some food prep too - always make up pintos and rice for burrito bowls. I have them most every night for dinner. I often cook potatoes in a potato express bag as needed. It doesn’t get any easier than that.

I food prep overnight oats for the week and make my lunch wraps and bag my veggies so packing breakfast and lunch to take to work is a snap. The invested time is so worth it!

This makes a GREAT Cauliflower Au Gratin Soup! I just added extra broth and Voila!
When I cook a big pot of porridge (oatmeal) for the week I add lots of grated apple and carrot, which adds sweetness to the oats as it all cooks together. If I have any raisins I add those too.

Love your videos and food prep. Just got back from vacation for a week and ate off track sweets and full fat stuff still no meats but not really 50/50 plate. Will u be doing a potato reset any time soon . I need to start tomorrow and was wondering if u have any great tips for me??? Would appreciate any advise . Ty
I would watch my back to basics videos. I don't usually do potato resets very often. Just get back on track with basic simple recipes.
I always nuke my potatoes for 6 minutes and then finish cooking in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Broccoli for me is cheaper in Walmart the one that you steam, about $1 per bag. Prepping is the key. Thanks 😊

Food prep. I make the butternut squash cheese sauce but want to try your version. I like butternut but my recipe is a bit on the sweet side because it’s only made with squash. The potato-based sauces tasted like scallop potatoes to me. Okay, but not a taste I want all the time. Thanks!

No, I use gluten rolled oats. But you can use what ever type of oatmeal you like. It all works😀

I know this seem obvious but just start small. bake some potatoes and steam some veggies to have ready in the fridge and build from there. Keep it simple and don't over complicate it. You can sub cashews about 3 tablespoons.

If you don't use a microwave because of what it does to your food, how can you cook the veggies for the
cheese sauce? Sautee them?
You can just boil them until fork tender and save some of the cooking water for the recipe.
