Thanks for the step by step, I just recalled an L9 that had been giving codes that a TSB said an update would fix. You're the best!
At 3:15 you missed that step in the USA what are we supposed to select? Or what is it supposed to be? Thanks also is an image just a snap shot - I thought it was a recording to watch after a road test.

Yes you should be able to updates and if it needs one it would pop up but if not you can always check for one manually and quickserve is a great tool once you start using and getting familiar with it

If one has Incal files could they change the ecm file to a "different" file? Assuming the CPL is compatible. For Example, we do heavy hauling. If I find a file for an ISX that would give me a 50-100hp bump ( but the CPL is the same) so the internal engine components are the same, can I just pick it and go?

I hear they hold it pretty close to their chest and charge an arm/leg for it. Specifically, I'm interested in changing a few of the features on my truck -- all tied into the ECM, obviously. But would rather have the software/equipment to do it myself instead of pay hundreds of dollars to a dealer every time I want to change something.
Question. I'm having fault codes for both intake and outlet NOx sensors, relays and fuses are ok but the comluter it's telling me that ECM is not getting the return signal, I've tested it with a new sensor but still showing the fault codes. If anyone can help me out with that I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.
How do you get from clicking on the ecm number to "Open everything up"? You clock on the ecm number and the window opens up then it looks like you edited something because next the whole page is full?

Do we need to purchase a master password Cummins to run ECM RECALIBRATION?? I have FC 3714 and only way to get that code to go inactive is to run recalibration. Help??
You will have to check manually and if u watch my video it will explain what to do if the screen doesn't pop up but 9 times out of ten if it don't pop up u are running the newest calibration
When you select an ecm at about 3:10 it won't let me click that where it says like "isl cm2350" or whatever I click it and get an error code. Any advice?

U can get a so called universal program for them all but they are not as good and u can't do as much unlike specific programs for each engine

You can all You need to do is get in touch with Cummins and they can sell you the correct fleet cal its cost around 100 bucks really simple to do

Yes depending on what u want to change for parameter there other programs available to another software I use is jpro
If u do the update to a truck that has been deleted will this update will undelete and set everything back to what use to be from factory
Yes it will screw up the delete don't update a deleted truck

No you can't you need a fleet calibration from Cummins to upload to a ecm

Once you click on the ecm code it pulls it up for you with the standard parameters for the ecm code you chose

U will need to purchase a key from Cummins

You can check whatever you would like is there something you would like me to show you
What if I need to recalibrate due to def issues. Def showing full and empty. And in derate.
You can still do the recalibrate and let it reset but if the problem continues you will need to look into the issue causing it to act up
