Was the turbo removed?
It's always the driver that screwed it up. Never a parts swapper milking the clock. When the truck is in the shop, it's never assigned to someone who doesn't understand basic electronics, and rushes through just what the service writer made the work order for. It's never anyone's fault except the driver. I know, because experiences owners, including myself, stopped going to the shop due to it costing three times more down the road than the initial shop bill, due to lazy mechanics. Yeah. It's always the driver. The ones who know how to treat a truck don't take it to the shop unless there's a reason other than mechanical problems.
What would you charge for that job? Have that problem, but mechanic says the motor has to come out
Worked on 94 f150 5.8 351 4x4 short bed 👌
Здравствуйте. Как можно уменьшить шрифт в окнах/текст в окнах?
That's setting on ur computer not the program
@@dirtydieselnation8826 Yes 👍 fancy
Как можно уменьшить окна в программе ?
Can the same be done on OBS 7.3’s ??
I'm not sure I've personally never did an obs
Hi, would you please do a video on parameters pls? I really wanna learn those things. Much appreciated... thanks
I have a video for changing top speed which will give u the basics on that
I'm trying to figure out what the cable is called to hook it to my computer
Inline 7
Thanks for the video! Very Helpful!!
Glad it was helpful!
Load up insite and take a coffee break. Might be ready when you get back, maybe.
Right
How long did this take you ?
Few hours but I had a few buddy's helping
My question is where are you located and is this something you could help a guy with!?!?!? My 7.3 is my everyday work truck and I can't work without it. I'm going crazy because there is a hole in my oil pan and I need to replace it!
I'm located in wisconsin
The company I work for has CNG trucks. We are having a lot of issues with faults for a multi cylinder misfire. We write it up engine light is on. It goes to the shop and is returned within a hour no code or engine light on. 10 mikes down the road it comes back. I say they are clearing the codes. The manager says it’s impossible to clear an active code. I am talking this has been an issue for over 3 years and has happened hundreds of times. Thoughts?
Well he is correct u can't erase and active code but I had issues with spark plugs and coils that I tried that aren't cummins do u no the brand they r using e3 is terrible on those
@dirtydieselnation Im planning to do this to my 7.3. Will this work with a manual transmission, due to having a solid bell housing and no removable access plate?
Do we need to purchase a master password Cummins to run ECM RECALIBRATION?? I have FC 3714 and only way to get that code to go inactive is to run recalibration. Help??
U will need to purchase a key from Cummins
There are rivets attaching the cross member, grind them off and just replace them with bolts and now its removable
Interesting thought. Thats what I was thinking of doing! Have you done this and did it allow you to remove the oil pan?
Hi , I am trying to change road speed on 2012 Volvo VN. I am following everything some how it did not change the speed .. not understanding what I am missing ( tech tool offline ) . ? Any help will be greatly appreciated .
What should the temps be on a regen for a Cummins 8.3 I’m having huge problems with this truck and know one can figure it out DPF is new new injectors new head and a new turbo is there any way I can get in contact with you and pic your brain
Thanks pal!
Hey mate, could you recommend which Usb/obd cable I should get for doing forced regens among other things via laptop? Cheers!
I use inline 7
@@dirtydieselnation8826 cheers mate, just saved me a ton of trial and error 👍 😅
So is there a paper gasket or silicone gasket?
Stock it is rtv Maroso makes a rubber gasket for them
Do you have a part number for the rubber gasket?
I do have a question. I went in to have my pedal and Cruise set to 70. Got back out on the road and I see that Cruise did not take or he just didn’t do it at all. But I swear on my mother, this truck, only goes 69. After a Small hill and a cut out of rpm the acceleration only begins again at 69 and I notice the digital speedometer, bouncing back-and-forth between 69 and 70. Upon looking inside the trucks data within my ELD, which is connected to the truck, it says the governor setting 69.0. When it is set, does it have to be set as a whole number or can I have it done like 70.9? 2024 mac anthem Thanks 🙏🏻
Usually a decimal in the program but it could b he changed it but forgot to send it to the ecm I've seen some guys do that lol
Hey Brother I hope all has been well.... I have a 2021 freightliner cascadia automated Eaton trans with a cummins x15... ecm light has been on and truck progress through gears really slow. Would you think a ecm could possibly resolve issue? Also I'm in Atlanta... where are you located.... you really know your shit. Very cool
Could you contact me if I give you the info
What version of insite was that and OS?
WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS IT WILL NOT WORK ON ALL 7.3L TRUCKS. The truck in the video is lifted and the author of the video should have disclosed this.
Tell me how that crossmember changes being “lifted” smh wow man lol think about that for a second 😂😆 Makes no difference nothing pertaining that crossmember changes being lifted lmao
Great video, thank you
What is the torque spec of the 3 bolts for the pickup tube?
Does anyone know if this works on 97 powerstroke?
Why not use an engine hoist instead of putting all that weight on the balancer?
Exactly what I was thinking I figured it’d be the best option but you’re the only other comment I’ve seen about it.
Top speed of my box truck is 68 mph. Is there a way I can change that set it to 75 mph
I know this is an only thread. How high did you have to jack the engine? Can this be done without pulling the turbo?
Cant you just clear codes with insite and then do a regan on it?
Yes
Very good
Can you do injector solenoid tests on insite? Like you can on ET
How much is that software?
complimenti! sai dirmi come aggiungere le ore ad una centralina cm 552 Grazie
That’s not forced. That’s just a manual regeneration. I’m looking to force and by pass the code.
How can you fix on the diagnostic parameter screen from half screen to full screen sometimes you can’t see the functions
Put ur mouse over the edge of the screen and hold left mouse button and drag it to the size u want
Hey Dirty. I know this is an old post. Getting ready myself to do this. My engine valley is clear. Nothing in it. No turbo, HPOP, fuel lines, spider. Nothing. New up pipes coming in so I'm taking those out also. Truck has no body lift and sits at stock height. Could I remove the fan for good measure? Or would that be necessary? Do I need to loosen or take the body bolts out and lift the body as I lift the engine as I've seen on other videos? Any information you have would be greatly appreciated.
Removing the fan and backing out the body bolt will give u a little more room to work
@@dirtydieselnation8826 So I got the body up nice. But when I start jacking up the engine, it's leaning to the passenger side and only the driver side studs are coming out of the framing. Any ideas or do I need to just trust it and keep slowly jacking?
Nice video
Thank you
What’s the best gasket to put?
moroso oil pan gasket. It's about the only gasket that will insure it's sealed without removing the engine.
Its funny how a driver can ditate how fast he wants to go in your truck. Speed will not get you there faster than traffic allows. The faster you go the more fuel it consumes more stress and wear and tear on your equipment. Any business owner operator knows this, plus safety is now minimized.
Guess you've never driven a governed truck. Just because the top speed has been adjusted doesn't mean you would drive wide open. You don't drive your car wide open even though you can. Correct ?
Trying to get into this industry since I’m in the IT field and I’m surrounded with commercial trucks. Are most programs universal for every truck or to each their own?
U can get a so called universal program for them all but they are not as good and u can't do as much unlike specific programs for each engine
Im installed Inline 6 on my computer, at the end of this process i was asked for basic password. Where i can get it? Thanks a lot
Do you have to have a code to increase The speed
U don't need a code unless there is a password to get into the ecm
Hey what’s the exact version of insite do you have? Is it a regular or PRO and also can i use the regular version to calibrate the ecm?
I did it But do I need to stop in some point or time or does it stop the Regen itself??
How will I know when stopt it or how know when it's clean ??
It will stop on its own
