This is great for me to help. I'm going to take a practical test at work and need to learn basics for insite.
Yes, good video, u made it simple, thank you,
Can you do injector solenoid tests on insite? Like you can on ET
What version of insite was that and OS?
Fast idle settings ?
Thank you 😊
Welcome
Nice video
Thank you
Hi, would you please do a video on parameters pls?
I really wanna learn those things.
Much appreciated... thanks
I have a video for changing top speed which will give u the basics on that
Can you please make a video on how to delete DEF with Insite? Thank you
I dont currently do any kind of deletes
How can you fix on the diagnostic parameter screen from half screen to full screen sometimes you can’t see the functions
Put ur mouse over the edge of the screen and hold left mouse button and drag it to the size u want
Do you have training course for ecm calibration ?
No I don't but whenever I have to do the next calibration I will try and make a in depth video step by step on how to do so
Id like to know how to determine what calibration is correct as well as adding hp with new calibrations
I'm trying to figure out what the cable is called to hook it to my computer
Inline 7
What kind of system do you have on ur laptop and where can I get it from and how much? Thanks
Insite and u can get it thru Cummins but there are other programs out there that are cheaper
@@dirtydieselnation8826 like what? I have small fleet some Volvo 2007 Cummins isx and some Volvo 2013 with Cummins isx , are they the same software or different software?
@@ahmedragab4346 its the same software for them
Hey sir u can buy a launch x431 heavy duty tablet tool it does cummins volvo mack basically any brand of truck out there u can change idle shut down etc I've even been able to delete immobilizer systems on some trucks its a hell of a tool it even does offhighway machines like cat excavators bobcats etc check it out I have insite but I love my launch been using it for years u can even do diagnostics and adjustments for your friends it will pay back for it self in no time
@@cecilmayers3429 thank you
Don’t you work at kenworth ? Asking because your voice sounded familiar
No I do not
You're quick to call drivers stupid. I've met my fair share of them true. But I've met a lot of stupid mechanics. Especially since becoming a owner operator.
I wont argue with you about that lol
I didn't know about waiting a few minutes before turning off the engine to let the ECM run its diagnostics and to let the pistons and other internal parts cool down after running under full load, until recently. That's shit that isn't taught by trucking companies or even CDL schools. That was my own research.
And yet, I went to a TA to get a PM done, and a tech in training that had just graduated from UTI couldn't even start my truck up correctly. He kept turning the key without letting the fuel system prime and tried to start the truck. He did this about three times before I had to step in and show him how to do it properly. Either he didn't pay attention in UTI, or they didn't teach him shit. There's plenty of dumb to go around, lol.
Good video, though.
@@Longhauler85why would they teach you that at trucking school? Their job is to teach you how to drive safely. They couldn’t give a less f@ck about how you turn your engine off or how you take care of your trucks engine. This guy is an idiot because he thinks knowledge that is common sense to him is common sense to everyone.
Здравствуйте. Как можно уменьшить шрифт в окнах/текст в окнах?
That's setting on ur computer not the program
@@dirtydieselnation8826 Yes 👍 fancy
It's always the driver that screwed it up. Never a parts swapper milking the clock. When the truck is in the shop, it's never assigned to someone who doesn't understand basic electronics, and rushes through just what the service writer made the work order for. It's never anyone's fault except the driver.
I know, because experiences owners, including myself, stopped going to the shop due to it costing three times more down the road than the initial shop bill, due to lazy mechanics.
Yeah. It's always the driver. The ones who know how to treat a truck don't take it to the shop unless there's a reason other than mechanical problems.
