People are clueless. A lady in my Apartment Village tried saying she was separated and trying to get a Divorce, yet, her man was always around her apartment. In my Professional opinion she was undiagnosed NPD and was manipulating the SSA. Our Manager ran a "sting" with Law Enforcement because her husband had a warrant, anyway. She put on a huge show and lost her child, benefits and is in prison.

Wow. Living a calm and content life is really not that hard (baring unrelenting health difficulties and pain, of magnitude) but some able people are always trying to take from others so they don't have to do themselves.

@@AllThingsSocialSecurity Absolutely 💯% and she was using her child as a pawn. Nothing more upsetting to me. Also a heavy meth user, video taped for documentation.

I had a couple questions unrelated to today’s video. Do you think there is any chance they will pass a bill to get rid of GPO and WEP? Also, if my husband is full retirement age and starts collecting SS and our adult child with autism starts collecting on my husband’s, is there a family limit?

No, I don't think they will get rid of GPO or WEP because if they do, then some people will be getting favorable financial treatment beyond which they paid in for, relative to others that paid the same. And it is designed to make it equal treatment.
Yes, there is a family max, always.

@@AllThingsSocialSecurity but as it is now, if you are a teacher who also did some jobs that paid into SS, you can’t get your own money back.
What is the family limit? I’m confused about that.
