I printed out a Benefit verification letter (Dated 11/9/24) Has monthly amount listed, date of month I will get paid on, etc. On the website the 5 steps for SSDI were complete and approved, the SSI section is still on step on 5. Ill try and get it scanned an email it to you, and some screen shots.
I've been on benefits for 21 or more years and now have received a letter to have a n .m. review and I tried to call all day to call ssa and never got threw . Letter says if thay don't here from me then I'll be taken off .I don't understand all of this and the letter was not readable the date
Hi Linda, I know that is terribly frustrating and so not right. I suggest you write a letter, document all the times you tried to follow their instruction can call in - take screen shots of your phone where it confirms the phone calls in and how long you waited on hold (or got hung up on, not uncommon), make a complete copy to retain, and mail the original to your local field office (If that is who requested) CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTS for your proof they got it. If they cancel you, read the letter careful so you can appeal in time.
My SSI redetermination Ssa ask me for my credit card statement if I dont do this they will cancel my benefit including Medicaid . I am 66 cancer disabled. After I sent the credit card statement now they want the proof of cash advance evidence !! Advice

They must have asked you questions and you gave answers (such as, I pay for XX with my credit card) such as utility bill or rent or mortgage... and this they need to confirm you do indeed pay it, and are not being gifted in kind shelter - b/c if you were being gifted it, then you don't need the shelter money from the SSI. Make sense?

My son is homeless now and why i'm frustrated. White men get nothing unless they're in custody. I only have SSR+ a small pension and w/the double to triple inflation rate$ for essential$ a 2.5% increase taken back for increased in our premium$ and copay$ for Medicare! I want free heathcare, rent, utilities, food and transportation too and I PAID into the System for over 4 decades!!! A few breaks for the kids and moves for hubby's job but he left after 35 years after my stroke. I asked your Jealous God Cain 'where is your brother ABEL" and the answer was "the 2nd born Son of 3" is in his MANcave$ across AMerica refusing to answer the call for FREEdom for US ... is that lazarUS? My wife just found out from our local field office that there is note on her claim that the claim has been sent back to the DDS after the SSA office in New Mexico received it from the dds here in Texas. Initial application. All this a month after the DDS examiner and ssa examiner called asking about her onset and work hours per week at the time of onset. We are waiting on the decision letter. I have no idea why they sent it back to the DDS examiner. Any idea as to why? She applied for ssi and ssdi.Thank you for the great vids.
OK, so it sounds, particularly if she is over 50, that medically they MAY find her disabled but it hinges on PRW OR, if she is currently working, whether her work rises to the level of "ineligible". How she answered those questions will be pivotal. Fingers crossed.

A Social Security Representative may contact you directly if we need any additional documents or information to help determine if you are eligible. Please respond timely to any requests from SSA: Notify us whenever a change occurs that could affect your benefits. Not reporting changes timely may delay the processing of your application.” I will be sure to keep you updated on if approved or denied.

We have sent a detailed notice to you with your benefit information. You should receive your notice within 10 to 15 days.” My benefit letter has not updated, but I assume this is now official. Mine says the appeal council and ALJ has completed my review on November 15,2024 this Friday and i am amusing ill know their decision soon it say anywhere from 15 to 30 days can this be a good sign are a bad sign are is it hard to tell
