    I have followed the video very closely and my image looks close to yours before removing stars but after removing the stars and changing to linear the image is totally black. I have 400 images and yours had 999, could that be the problem. Thanks. Great video keep up the great work.

    Ive been using adobe Lightroom when I'm processing my images when I stack them on my ASIAIR plus, will it work for the DWARF 2?

      It should😏 I'd say experiment around with it i haven't messed much with adobe I'm trying to lean towards free software but you should try it out

    Hello, great videos, thanks. Quick question, how are you getting the data from the dwarf. I've only been doing this a week and I haven't seen any info on downloading the data.

      I put my dwarf into MTP mode and connect it to my laptop via USB, or i just take out the SD card

    Thank you very much for this tutorial. Unfortunately my DwarfII images are so much noisy, even using darks. Is there an "easy" way to remove noise artifacts from the starless background file?

    • @ScottCastrophotography
      @ScottCastrophotography  Рік тому +1

      What kind of noise? Hot pixels or just regular noise?

    • @FabioPegli
      @FabioPegli Рік тому

      @@ScottCastrophotography both, but in particular hot pixels "walking noise" (even if i take astro dark before my sessions and regular darks after the end). Maybe I need more and more lights, unfortunately I have to use the roof of a friend of mine and I cannot stay all night long 😞

      @@FabioPegli i suggest you just let your dwarf sit outside turned off for about 15 minutes and then after you can take your astro dark files and do your shooting after

      You will also get noise at higher gain... I would refrain from anything over a gain of 80

      Great videos, I have followed you video here while processing my image, after removing the stars my image looks like yours, when I change back to linear my screen is completely dark, not like yours. I did the pre stretch like the video but still dark screen. I had 400 shots of the nebula and you had 999, could that be a cause. Thanks for any help

    Whats the bortle rating for the area you captured this in?

    good job but you do know that you waisted much detail such as the cosmic dust that was all over ....

      Yes but personally i would prefer to have a darker background instead of the cosmic dust. I feel it makes it look cleaner, but everyone else can do whatever they'd like. As i said, at the end of the day, it's your own image🙂
