Thanks Jeff for a great video. I just received my Dwarf II Telescope and waiting for clear skies to try it out. During this last year, I have be using a Cannon DSLR with a Star Adventure tracker and Affinity Photo as a stacker and post processor for astrophotography. After watching your UA-cam video I will definitely consider purchasing the plugins for star removal and noise reduction.
Any good results ?? ive been having little to no luck getting even usable results.
This video is amazing! Thank you so much.
Great video! I am just a beginner with this stuff and i have a Dwarf II and have taken a few stabs at some DSO's and trying to follow some of the other Affinity astrophotography videos is confusing. At this point, your video is just what I have been looking for.
I do have a question. Since I am already using Affinity, would it help to do the stacking in Affinity and then use your process for the Affinity PNG file?
Thank you.
With the Dwarf2 data, so far I have only worked with the single already stacked png file. I have not yet tried stacking the raw dwarf2 individual files. I don't know how well Affinity Photo would work with stacking DSO frames. You might want to use a different software package for the stacking part.
Can high quality and large or mid-size prints be made from dwarf 2 images?
I haven't tried it. The sensor is fairly high resolution. Of course if you use 2x2 binning for the astru-photos, that decreases the resolution for printing.
WOW! This is really cool. Do you have any links to this software? Is it free?
