- Life is a journey, or life is an adventure, if you have the courage to explore and this video is about a new adventure! Or the beginnings of one at least, as we take an old motorcycle, found like an abandoned kitten, dirty and disheveled, who's disparate to come home with us, and we try to resuscitate it to give it a new life. We also give an update on two pieces of equipment that we've reviewed, the Bluetti Charger1 and the Citymons hitch. We hope you enjoy the video.

Yeah who needs an e-bike? Welcome to the new Gonagain BIKERS channel.
I always love seeing old stuff being brought back to life.
I think a Goldwing is the smoothest most comfortable ride I've ever experienced.
Nice Road King man! You can't beat a free Goldwing either.
I believe, Rick, that you're rediscovering your second young adulthood. Be safe and keep the rubber down 😊.
That's the plan!
Wow. The Harley is beautiful. I enjoyed watching you work on the Goldwing. I always appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
Thanks for watching!
I was not expecting that ending, good for you.
Neither were we!
Nice to see & hear an engine run! The Goldwing looks like a good project for ya and I noticed you're wearing shorts. Is it still motorcycle weather up there in Montana? Have fun!
It's just a matter of time, and you and Linda will be getting matching tattoos. That will be a great video!!!
Omg, Rick! You two are something!
Motorcycles definitely multiply.
Thanks for testing out the anti rattle hitch for us. I have been wondering if it was working out. I need that for my Chevy Traverse. The hitch noise is driving me crazy! On another note... be careful with that old Goldwing. Those tires may look good but could be rotten and blow out any time without warning. You only have two tires, Rick. Be careful.
Those tires need to be replaced.
Three UNBELIEVABLE moments in this video....was shocked how clean the bike was. That you got it running! Did not know you liked motorcycles. Great video. Full of surprises.
I've owned Goldwings '76, '85. '95, a '97 that I triked, and currently I'm on my last, a 2007 that I've triked. Surprised it started! a gallon of premium fuel along with a can of Seafoam and run ithat thru it. One more thing before you get away from home, is the rubber timing belts, one for each side. Those are interference engine, timing belts are good for about 1000 miles, or 10 years sitting. Good luck, the wife and I have had a blast on ours, even have a small pop-up camper that we use.
Thanks for the tips. We've seen those little pop ups years ago, some bikers going cross country had them. Pretty cool stuff!
How cool. 35 years ago my husband had a Yamaha 700 or 750, anyway it looked a lot like this Honda and boy was it fun to ride! Boy oh boy a Harley 😮!!! Wow!!! Congrats on your new toys, this will be fun!!
Thanks, Wanda!
Well, you just proved the multiplication theory. Saweeeeeet! and all it took was that first nudge by a lil old Honda firing up....I am weaker a mini-bike would have done it for me. LOL I enjoyed this one. Thanks.
Ooooh! That’s awesome!! We did the same thing 12 years ago. We traded our Yamaha trike for a 2011 Road King Classic, too. We just love it! It’s so comfy. I’ve put 65,000 miles on it over the last 12 years. I’m really happy for you and Linda!!
Thank you, we're really looking forwrd to putting some miles on ours.
I had a 79 Wing. Went all oer the US on that bick and never had a problem. I did change the points to electronic ignition to simplify
tune. Wife and I love your channel.
: ) WOW ! You were NOT kidding as your Motos are growing ! : ) ENJOY and LOVED the old 78 GoldWing with its Fairing : ) Had 1 on my old CB750 : ) ENJOY and ALL the BEST, Cheers ! ! : )
🤙🤙
Wow Rick, what a Smoking Cool Bike. (Hog??) Oh how I wish I could get up the nerve to be a Real Biker type of guy, but too many injuries has kept me away from taking the plunge. However, I am still going to get that new Honda Trail bike or maybe the Yamaha that you recently acquired, but either way indeed I want one for off-road pursuits. Geez, you and Linda are so lucky to be gifted this four cylinder gem, how Cool is that. Maybe one day soon, we will see you both in Full Leather Duds and motorcycle boots to go Screaming Down the Highway. Ya, That's It. Y'all Never Stop and continue & amaze & inspire us. Fantastic. Groovy Video. V. here. God Bless
I asked Linda if she ever thought she'd be a biker babe. We're heading south thru idaho for Nevada!
A friend had a Goldwing for years. He and his wife rode all over with it. Good luck, take care!
Congrats on both your motorcycle’s God Speed Happy Trails
Another great video seeing the old Honda Goldwing motorcycle was really awesome even though it needed a lot of work on it. have a great October my birthday is on the 14th. Thank You Rick and Linda.☕👍🇺🇲
😂bingo😊
Happy birthday on the 14th, Roger!
@@gonagain I'll be 60 God Bless You and thank you Rick and Linda.
🇺🇲🎂🇺🇲
@@rogertemple7193 still just a youngster 😀
So enjoyed this update! I grew up in a motorcycle family, but in a city that didn't require a driver's license (not for ID, and public transportation was fabulous). Always imagined a someday-I'll-have-a-motorcycle future. But playing with riding in my late thirties made me see it wasn't for me. But I still LOVE watching! Thanks for another way I can live vicariously through Rick and Linda!
Nice Haley and a Goldwing now, Amazing the small bikes got to gather and had some bigger Twins !
They do seem to multiply, I donxt know how that happens.
That was a quick segue into the Harley! 😂
I ride a 97 FLHR Road King
I've owned several bikes over the yrs. That The GoldWing is a good ol ride. Syncing the carbs can be frustrating. My wife and daughters said I could never be without a motorcycle again. They say I'm like depressed without one. I really love my old roadking.
Great choice on the Harley , Rick. I see a beautiful 2003 100th Anniversary bike . I bought a silver and Black 2003 Electroglide new and rode it 80K miles all ove the country. Best bike I ever had. It reminded me of a P 51 Mustang my late brother and I loved. Ride Safe , Rick and Linda. The roads are more crowded than ever and remember in our old days of riding there were no cell phone texters.
Thank you, we're being extra cautious at our age. Or think we are.
I hope you changed the timing belt. It's better to go with a known good belt. They do have a shelf life and service limit time. Also, care should be taken if you have to change out the starter on a 1000 and 1200 Goldwing, you can drop a starter gear inside the engine.
You came to your senses and ended up with a real bike!
Yup!
Love your videos!
Thank you!
Love it! 4 years ago I had 1 motorcycle. Today I have 7. Looking at #8 in the morning.
Uh oh...
Waiting for new cargo trailer/bike hauler series. Or current trailer modification to haul RK!! Woohoo 😁
SO any thoughts; You can name the GW "Kitten". I had a good friend in high school who used his GW like an enduro; dirt, mud, whatever. About that time , still in high school, I spent my life savings on an old Harley for $175! Spent a summer fixing it up then accidentaly wrapped it around a phone pole. Love watching Y'all, you're blessed. Mahalo nui, Aloha. FYI, I was at Hickam AFB on Oahu in '69, 3 years there. Bellows AFB had the best body surfing waves on the island, only military had access as i recall.
Nice bike!
Thanks!
Brings back some memories! I had a windjammer fairing on a Suzuki I think it was. Congratulations!
Cool, thanks!
I have a 97 Herley Roadking I bought in 1998, it had 5000 miles on it when i bought it, love that bike, it had=s the fiberglass bags mine is an FLHR yours is the Classic version not sure of year model, mine is the EVO engine with Carburetors, they added fuel injection in '98 and you could get either way in 1998. Then in 2000 I believe they changed from the Evo engine to the twin cam, I rode that until 2015 and due to a rather severe back problem I bought a Harley Trike mine is the Triglide version the big nice one, I sure like my Roadking better than the trike, that is because of the ride and handling of the two wheels over the three wheels I still have my Roadking but also my back problems, I just called a friend to tell him to come see me and I am giving my Roadking to him to fix up and sell to use the money for a startup college fund for his new Granddaughter, my son not interested in it and I do not have any grandkids so if he gets 1500-4000 for it it will be a good start as she is only 3 months old and he's been a good friend
What a great thing to do for your friend. Thank you for sharing your story.
that harley is nice!!
Loved watching you work on the Gold Wing. And then noticed the Hog is a 100 year anniversary edition. Nice! That was probably what you were waiting for right? The 2003 to come up.
Cool you got your charger thing mounted in the back. Sure looks like a nice bike. Especially for free. Can’t beat free. Even if it does need some work. Gonna have to get a bigger cargo trailer so you can build out a toy hauler camper. That way you can haul your bikes on all your camping adventures 😁
Nope, not a bigger trailer but maybe a truck?
HI RICK & LINDA❤ Congrats on the New HD Roadking (2003?)!! Rory and I have The same Roadking (2002)! Maybe someday we can ride together and go for PIE!! 😊 Take care, Lorelei
Wow🎉...awesome to see the progress on the Honda Goldwing...look forward to the carb cleaning/ rebuild videos to get it up to par. Blew my mind when you got the Harley....that is awesome! I have found the same issue in last five years...I have had ten bikes in five years...but I think I'm done experimenting with what I like. Currently have 2022 Triumph Bonneville T120 and 2024 Honda Transalp. I try to alternate riding them but I think I favor the T120 for local rides and definitely take the Honda for longer trips.😎🍻
congrats on the harley!
Congrats on your Road King! Rick I owned a Aniversery Fat Boy same paint scheme as your Road King. You are going to love riding it i am sure. The only thing is you will have to prove your vin number. To the parts guys when you buy any cosmetic pieces for your bike. It's to protect against fake anniversary bikes!
Honda Goldwings are/were the best of the best but after 50 plus years not so much. Knew something wasn't going right with as loud as it sounded. Goldwings run as quiet as the family car. That Harley is a much better deal. Nice and dependable. Have fun and be careful!
Boondocking Bikers !! Cool ..
Your bikes really do multiply, you should keep them further apart. 😀
Lol!
Nice reviews guys,
I like your motorcycles. You have the small dual sport, and the big cruiser and tourer, now you just need a nice "mid size" motorcycle to round out your Iron Horse stable. 🤔
Safe travels.
JT
Alright man cool beans yall, on both of them👍✌
Thanks!
a basket case Goldwing , been there done that
Like# 301 - I just got mine a couple of weeks ago!
🤙🤙
Yes they do multiply, and quicker than rabbits sometimes... I built a 24x48 garage for the purpose of restoring old motorcycles in the early 2000's. I had 20 at one point. Sounds like you know what you are doing, so far. Be careful out there, and keep your Spidey Senses sharp, because of all the nimwits on their phones. That is part of the reason why I gave up riding.
I hear ya. I wear a bright colored jacket and keep my eyes in what's ahead.
@@gonagain I swear, you could have a flashing yellow light on top of your head and some would claim they didn't see you.
Will you be getting one of those small trailers to pull behind the "King" ??
Don't think so but you never know!
What was the problem you were not getting spark? Thanks for sharing.
It was a blown fuse.
Sadly, Citymons doesn't have enough drop for my 3/4 T 4x4 Suburban.
Running on one cylinder for a long time...I'd be afraid of washing down the cylinder and scoring it.
Hey Rick, what tire did you go with on your camper?
TW…GL1000…Road King…Lucky!!!
Agree the Citymons hitch (just received mine) looks 1st class. However, after ordering for $69 and then later on they demand additional $15 via a "Required Survey" or you won't receive it is just not an acceptable business practice for me. Cannot recommend doing business with a company that sells you something and then, later when you enquire why you didn't receive it, demands $15 more to actually receive it.
So you have three motorcycles now?!
For the time being.
Poor old Honda, Letting it sit for months or years is one of the worst things to do with any engine. It may no longer be reliable or worth keeping. I have never understood people who let things sit for years when they should be passed on to someone who will use them right away. I have friends who are pack rats and let things rust away, very sad.
Good luck with the Harley. In my experience with friends who owned them, they spent more time fixing than riding. Maybe I was just spoiled by my Honda's.
When driving around in WWII England on the weekends you would see many guys with the hoods up on their cars, they said they loved anything that had an adjustment screw, and one of the reasons that today nothing is adjustable, lol.
When I worked for GM the federal government (EPA) wanted us to design parts to fit only one way without any adjustments to stop the customer from being able to do anything that would cause the engine to be out of emissions specs. Have fun with your new projects.
Having fun so far! Thanks.
Looks like a Mustie1 video.
I just sold my 87 Aspencade that was setting since 92- loved the bike but kept chasing issues from front to back and all over again- not complaining on the bike but from setting all those years things get rusty and rubber dries up with the addition of NO OEM new parts available.
👍
UN-ethanol gas please! Mountain View sells it on the road side island, northeast corner,
Thanks!
Does the DC to DC charger method charge the Bluetti faster than just using the 12 volt "cigarette" charger?
Yes.
How much do you want for the gold wing?
If you're serious, email us at gonagain21@gmail.com.
Wondered where you been... I got unsubscribed! I didn't do it either. Be careful on that new toy. I have a Honda ATV but it will only go 47ish, fast enuf for me!
Glad to have you back! Linda got unsunscribed once before; I guess you have to check your subscription status every now and then.
I know a guy who put 300,000 miles on his Honda.
rick it looks like someone needs toget out in the sun more with short pants, or bathing suit? LITTLE WHITE THERE, A BAD SIGN IN THE SNOW?THELL NEVER FIND YOU, NOW SINCE you have a hog, lindas looking for chaps, helmet and leather jacket , riding boots,. on the back of the jacket is your symbol GONAGAIN?
You betcha!
