If that is what you think, then I feel his whole message has been misinterpreted. His message was to view singleness as a gift and special time period to reflect on and to get to know oneself. I have noticed that is very vital because it gives a person the opportunity to fully understand and know oneself. What you like, what you dislike, what inner qualities you possess and the best opportunity to grow individually. Knowing those things is vital when choosing a life partner/spouse. Singleness gives you that opportunity to prepare yourself for that and more.
