I watched some poor soul's video who drilled out the metal pop rivets to be able to remove the glass in order to get to those two screws. I'm certainly glad that I discovered your video,

Super vid. I tried the special tool you can buy to get to the tough screws, but it just wouldn’t grab them well. This was a much better way to approach it. I was a little nervous about messing with the window roller, but once you understand how the part works, it makes complete sense. Thank you.
I tried replacing the dew wipes on my Fiero this morning. I got one of the centre screws out, but no matter what I did I could not get the window quite high enough to get the second screw out.
Thanks for the video. I just got done doing my 86 GT. It took me about 8 hours to do both but I could not do it with out this video. By the way, I got my dew wipes from the fiero store. The passenger side lines up good but the drivers side I had to file some of the holes bigger. Thanks again!
You can buy both the inner and outer window seals at www.fierostore.com , plus you don't have to remove the trim plate, just remove the screws and it will fit through the door panel opening.
Can you please share the part # or truck model and year you used the inner dew wipe from? I see you modded them to fit the the fiero. I think I can swing those modifications. Would like to know what they are off of though.

This is the best way to do it...especially when the screws are corroded in. Thank-you VERY much!

Can this be done at all while the electric windows have no power? Currently have my engine out so no power to wire harness.

Are the Fiero door lock cylinders easy to reach?
Yes. I installed new locks while I had tbe door all apart. A little tricky but just take your time and you'll be good.
