  • In this class, Rest as Trauma Healing, we explore a restorative yoga practice that invites your nervous system into a rest and digest state (parasympathetic). Resting or finding stillness can sometimes be triggering, and I offer ways to anchor your mind in the present moment while your body finds rest.
    Passage read during class:
"You may think you are not doing very much at all. All of this shifting from the inside out. All of this adjusting and readjusting to what is. All of this releasing and letting go requires energy. Transformation requires rest."
    -Octavia F. Raheem

I had no idea what was happening to my body today, and this is exactly what I apparently needed. Thank you for helping me so much right now.

Can you recommend any techniques to practice when one is on the brink of a panic/anxiety attack? Would love a video on that.
    Thank you❤️

Why does yoga make me lose my sense of time? This forty minute video felt like five minutes.
