I was a premiere pro worker but becoz of you now I do somethings as color in danvinci. May God bless you. Iam from congo DRC 🇨🇩
Absolutely deserve more viewership. As a long time prem user fully converted to Resolve. These have been very helpful xo
Glad you think so!
Very good and useful tutorial Kas! As always you make it clear and you go straight to the point.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks you for watching my videos!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful tutorial.
Glad it was helpful!
You are very good at explaining and ur very helpfull
You are indeed a great tutor. The way you speak one word at a time , I never have to go back and seek a particular point in time. It's all crystal clear, with no need for repetition. Your wonderful voice somehow makes your tutorials fun to follow. I would be very grateful to you, however, if you upload a tutorial on how to use fusion for purposes other than colour grading. By the way, I have a RYZEN 5 processor with 32gb RAM and 4gb Vram and SSDS for drives. Please advise me if I can use colour grading the way you show us in this tutorial without causing issues in my PC.
This is a really amazing tutorial ! Thanks for your work !
Thanks so much for the support!
Your skin tone tip is HUGE - great stuff!
Oh thank you!
There's no one like you frankly. thanks👍
Thanks so much for the support! I do really appreciate that!
Thank you very much for this tutorial. Very helpful.
Hey Victor! Thanks so much for the comment! I hope you will enroll my course!
Thanks Kasia.
Excellent content, it would be great if you taught us how to match color when using the "SHOT MATCHING" tool since when we use it most of the time we would have to do it because it doesn't look the same and we don't know what tools to use to perfect the matching, thank you!!! 👍👍
Thanks ! 🥰😘
Dzięki Kasia, tak trzymaj. Pozdr.
Dzięki wielkie!
Oh my god that's incredible,
Well done.
Thanks so much!
Thank you for creating another very informative tutorial. I am only using basic cameras (GoPro, Iphone, panasonic 3CCD video camera etc, so I need all the help I can get.
You're very welcome!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful tutorial. But please as beginners, many of us still need practice clips. Please look into sharing practice clips for us to practice with when watching these informative tutorials. Thank you.
Thank you for the comment and I do agree with you but most of the clips I’m using coke from Artgrid and can’t share them! However, my DR course is in the progress and I’ll be providing clips for practice! Stay tuned!
Thankyou for this tutorial, I found it very helpful - I look forward to checking out the DR couse you are working on

what will be output color space if we are color grading a movie for cinema release ? thank u
You are talking about input color space for specific camera. I am using two types of camera, Gopro black hero 7 (for time-lapse of growing specific big building) and Dji Mavic 2 pro (Hasselblad L1D-20c ) for recording the other objects for commercial movie, making for my customer. What is you suggestion about which input color space I have to use, please ?
Right now mysettings for DRP are:
Color science = DaVinci YRGB
Timeline color space = rec.709 (scene)
Output color space = Same as input
Thank you.
Hi Kasia! Just curious- if you were using Neat Video for noise reduction, would you still keep it on your first node? Thank you for sharing your workflows. They are super helpful!
Hey! Although I don’t use near video in Resolve, I am certain that the rule should be the same!
Hello Katia,
Thanks for this video!
I can't stop asking myself: does the film look works so fine because it come from Arri footage ?
Don't get me wrong, your technique is very good, but I wonder if it is possible to achieve such a filmic look using log footage from a mirrorless cam...
I'd like to read your opinion on that...
Of course I get your point! And yes, we can’t hide the fact that the higher dynamic range - the better the result can be!
😍😍😍
What gamma we are expecting from 709 as output color space ? Is it 1.9, 2.2 or 2.6?
It all depends on your monitor! I use calibrated grading monitor to 2.4 but if you’re working on your computer screen, it should be Rec.709-A
@@colorgradinginsightsahh, so if I am using a srgb display, automatically it will read out my calibration & will output 2.2?
But what if I want 2.2 but grading on a broadcast display calibrated to 2.4?
Currently I am on fedora, working without a reference display. Where shall I use 709A to deliver a project that requires a round trip to premier pro?
Hola.
No entiendo el ingles, pero , sus vídeos, son interesantes.
Lo mejor es, el inicio y final, cuando se ve su belleza.
Saludos.
In my opinion, white should be white, the rest of the colors can be changed
Draw attention to the product, which is badly out of focus! 😀
