I think he does a little - but only out of character. He seems somewhat shy, almost, when not playing a character. He's just such a good method actor that he falls into the role, and if the role has no shame then he won't show any.
Sacha doesn't really trick people... he makes them feel comfortable enough to reveal who they truly are.
