Jim: "...I act because I'm broken." I'm just here because of Jim. Really.
The realest shit iv'e heard all day...

Despite his absolute disregard and egotism.
I agree. Jim actually steered into the fact about himself being this broken person and layed it all on the table. It's refreshing for once I hear something honest from Hollywood people and not 'actors' who's worried about ego. The top comments said it best ❤
Jim is special, we all know that.
To be honest I'm kinda worried, he's been crying out for a long time now

Perhaps it's due to Jim being considered by many [including myself] to be a comedic genius so him having admiration for someone speaks volumes about that person.
@@UncleEbenezer77 yes that makes sense. Also, I feel like Jim is allowing himself to be very vulnerable in this meeting. Making his admiration for someone else heartfelt. So much respect to these greats!

Dude absolutely had the same feeling loved their interactions and to hear that story of admiration
I have a lot of respect for Jim
He put so much into his craft that he had almost nothing real left outside of the gimmick that was Jim Carrey. He’s spent the last decade trying to find out who he is based on a bread crumb trail he’s left of himself inside of what he’s created.
I think that’s why he was so big on the “I’m myth I’m not real” thing.
He realized the what he thought was himself was just what the public thought he was
I've been a fan of Jim since the mid 90s and I am even more a fan since he's letting out his true personality since few years. He's extremely true to himself finally and he doesn't hide it anymore. I wish him all the best, love and health.
Jim Carrey and Sacha Baron Cohen can recognize the genius in each other.

So happy I found this and a little sad I didn’t know about these table talks before. Every interview with Jim Carrey where he gets to be vulnerable and honest whilst also being funny always brings me to tears because he reminds me so much about my dad and how he used to be. Not only did he go to Cambridge but he went to a sophisticated French comedy school that funnily enough looks at the art of 'clowning' basically making yourself look dumb to satire society. He also was / is a Jewish / progressive activist from his Uni days!
He is super-intelligent that's is why he is knowledgeable about political premises .
and he is also veeeeeery handsome
Man, the connection Jim and Sacha have. Just pure geniuses.
Yeah I saw that too! True bromance! I love it
Of idiocy ...
I like that you are questioning why is THAT line there... But is not the right question, so I give you the answer to the right question: The WRITER did not write THAT one.I like that you are questioning why is THAT line there... Very well structured talk. Wonderful.
''and me i'm 56 year old''.
DAMN! I'M SORRY 😂😂😂😂😂
The interviewer was top shelf, guided it masterfully . More of her please .
I loooooove the videos with her, she is so respectful with all of them, giving them space to talk freely, not minding about the pre written questions. Watching this type of videos are so addictive! Love it so much
unlike that other guy
@@SuperBlazeOfficial Not sure the guy you are talking about, but I am assuming the one who is kind of a rude with his questioning and a bit disrespectful.
@@freddiegrace3770 yup and he interrupts everyone

I’d love to see Rowan Atkinson sitting at this table
58 thumbs up on a comment posted 1 day ago, on a video posted 1 year ago. Because it's such a great comment lol.
yoooooo that would be GREAT !! The honest godfather of comedy.
Damn, yes. But there are so so so many other great comedians who'd deserve to be there too
Actors are not the only humans that create multiple personalities when interacting with other humans. All humans do this chameleon act to others as a defense mechanism to protect our inner ego or lack of self-confidence. Creativity helps to control our inner demons hopefully in a positive way.
Who here after Borat busted Rudy Giuliani?
That was spectacular. Super fun to watch
So lovely to enjoy such heartfelt sharing and dialogue. Really wonderful ❤. I love this.
Cheadle: “I’m just cringing when I’m watching your show”
Cohen: “Thank you”
Well he did say he was cringing in a great way. Lol
There is something very genuine the way Sacha and Jim speak about each other’s work.
Cheadle: “I’m just cringing when I’m watching your show”
Cohen: “Thank you”
He is such a classy man, I really love Don and Sasha.
Robin Williams would have been great to listen to around this table.
jim carrey looks like he's made peace with himself.
How the fuck would you know ? Are you his personal masseuse ? For crying out loud people in these Hollywood UA-cam comment sections act as if their personal friends with these low-life leftists in Hollywood. These actors and actresses don't give one shit about you people. They love your money.
@@mwmann Calm down Lol
I wish he made peace with the fact vaccines work.
@@mwmann I can said the same about you. How would you know ? Are you close to him ? I'm not saying Hollywood isn't full of bad people, i'm just saying how do you who bad and who don't if you aren't close to them. And if even you are close to them you still can't know for sure what kind of person they are.
It's funny that you criticize others rudely cause they jump to the conclusion that Jim Carrey is a good person while you are doing the same thing .
@@mwmann calm down friend.. seems like life isnt really going well for you.. ask for help, we are here for you
Thoughtful, brilliant...thank you!
This is the best “Interview” of not only Hollywood’s greatest Comedians I have ever seen, but possibly the best Interview/Roundtable i have ever seen
When Jim complimented Sacha, I felt that. Imagine being complimented by someone you look up to, and feeling like you can genuinely feel proud of what you've accomplished.
I'd love to have an experience like that. The closest thing I've experienced was the rapper Hopsin listening to one of my songs, but his feedback was mildly critical, which hurt my feelings, I was disappointed. Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations of getting a proper compliment, but it was an opportunity to get that validation that just didn't turn out as I expected.
@@TheRealKaYnE That's a shame dude, I can imagine how that felt. But just think of it this way, he respected you enough not to give you a sugar coated opinion and instead give you constructive feedback that might actually help you. Use it and consider incorporating his advise where it can be. I know sometimes it's nice just to hear that you're doing the right thing so that you can be more confident in that, but it's also sometimes important to hear the criticism too, that's what makes us stronger in the long run.
you must´ve actually have something for hop to give you the courtesy of a critical/honest feedback tbh. depends on the occasion a little of course

This moderator was great. Really appreciate her not interrupting and allowing the conversation to flow
Yeah, she's been doing these for awhile now and she's amazing at encouraging every person to speak equally, really knowing everything there is to know about each person she's interviewing, and keeping the conversation going. Also, I love that she never seems starstruck or nervous, she's always very professional and keeps the conversation natural.
Yes, I like her more than the English guy they usually have.
I agree completely. Glad someone else noticed it. She was brilliant. Didn’t “try” to be funny like others do. She realised she just needed to ask the questions and help them open up. (Not that they needed much help)
Agree. And likewise every single one these icons had respect likewise when she started speaking ❤
I love how Jim has so much inner turmoil I thinks thats why he connects with so many people.
My favorite actor all time.
Love ya jim
i love this group! yall do some amazing circles i just found this channel and its amazing
Carrey, ‘We are all broken’ Baron Cohen ‘why are you looking at me?’ Carrey, ‘I’m looking through you’ 😂. Lightening wit!

This was so freaking incredible and insightful. When and where else could you ever hear these people just sit down and talk?

Jim: "I act because I'm broken..."
Me: *immediately starts crying*
Sasha: "I act to get prettier girls"
Me: why is he at the same table as Jim and the others
@@wildhrushka he was making a joke, but his comment isn’t incorrect. It obviously went over your head.
@@yeln4tsmusic No, I got that, it was just lame. It wasn't the 1st interview I watched of either of them, and if it were some late night show than Sasha's comments would fit right in, but it's a bit of a different format - which probably went over your head - so the expectations are different.
But thank you for trying to explain the obvious.
I've been a driver for various national well known actors and actrices in my country for 10 years in the past, most of them have some kind of deep emotional trauma which is the reason for them to have developed skills which pushes them towards the profession. It got discussed on the phone (with others) or in the car amongst themselves or with me regularly. Especially when they had something to drink beforehand. Always trying to fix yourself, with the feedback of others. Great to see this being acknowledged here at this table.
Yes!
All great legends ,great host ,really enjoyed this ,thanks
