Old news and £875 is crazy
A little surprised how amazed you were on the price of the pull out bed, I thought it was very expensive. That design is what was in the Sprite Musketeer and more, way back 50 years ago, and what I "borrowed" from our Sprite that is still parked in the garden.
I did wonder why a bed design from last century was so amazing 🤔
I'm sure the build quality was great, it certainly looks like it was 👍
It wasn’t the design it was the finish that was beautiful ❤😊
I can see many a home carpenter giving this a go but the quality of his work is really good.

£875 for just the bed? 😳That's not cheap, lol.
It's a lot for a bed. I'd take that for my old Sprite caravan (if I was selling), and that has a pull out in exactly the same style, and has top access and 2 drawers. For my own Sprinter conversion I made my own, about £30 for the timber, plus some caravan cushions from eBay.
It does sound a lot but it does look well built. When you cost in the matress ( foam n covers made to measure are very expensive ) and the quality it's not bad
It's £951 just for the base. If you want it sanded, olied and shipped etc it's more like £1500. They charge £275 just to oil it! lol
They charge £850 to upholster it lol making the finished and upholstered bed about £2300. Gordon Bennet!

I had 4 deer slam into the sides of two different cars over an 18 month period,(4 separate incidents) they just pop out of no where. It's a comprehensive claim in the US.

@@BigVanSmallWorld the deer are probably not OK , most likely ex deer. Surprisingly if you look at car deer accident police reports in the US ,most of them are non injury accidents to the humans in the car...It may severely damage or total a car , but deer stand pretty low so unless you do something like swerve to try to miss the deer and hit a tree instead or roll your car during the swerve maneuver you'll mostly likely survive and come out unscathed. Moose on the other hand swerve for those guys , if you hit one typically they will smash through the windscreen and end up in your face since they stand so high on spindly legs. Hit deer , avoid moose.

Not if you consider the quality of the product and the amount of time that goes into making it
£800 for a bed you can make yourself for £200 at most 😂
It cost that much because it takes skill and experience not to mention the research and development
You wouldn’t buy the wood for £200 your dreaming
