I am absolutely saving this vid, because THIS is something my grandson, currently 14, seriously WANTS. And I AM GOING TO HELP HIM!!! If survive that, I'm doing the same thing for myself!! In fact, we will work in some extra space for an extra passenger, on occasion, AKA his grandmother! JK, anyone!

Your van build has been a blast to watch from start to finish, every little detail you added is just perfect and added to your own taste as well , you desire a medal for doing that van cause it hasn't been easy for you but you managed to press on without giving up , so you deserve a massive round of a clause for what you have achieved 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This has been a pleasure to watch right from the start, you have had some bad luck along the way but your positivity has overcome the obstacles, I now feel totally inadequate as I struggle to wire a plug! Relax now, spend some well earned time with your family and give us mortals time to catch up…
I always use a knife when cutting that style of insulation. Cut it the same way you would drywall. Score one side and break it. Then cut the foil like you would the paper on drywall. Not only is it fast but much cleaner.

Giving me inspiration and ideas and proving that someone with not a lot of skills and knowledge can do it! This type of stuff is challenging but at the same time really therapeutic. I love the moments after you've done something and then you sit there and marvel at it for a few minutes before continuing the work. Obviously the feeling of taking that baby on the road is really nice too :)
Have watched every episode Sundays at 9am with my 7 year old daughter and it’s something we look forward to every weekend and has brought us so much closer and we wanna try and build our own together one day. You are an inspiration for what you do and show us how to do it. Can’t wait to watch the new video tomorrow morning. Hoping we both get to speak to your in Cornwall one day on our weekends away. 🎉

40 days per 10 hours a day is 400 hours. That's not quick by any means. But the build is good. I like it.
Agreed, that ceiling was a great touch. Actually given me inspiration for my upcoming house build!

Thank you so much for this excellent video account. You convey a lot of important information (in words and images) as you tackle each aspect of the build. For example, who knew that Ford puts holes in their vans to attach decorative exterior panels?! Now I do. I also have a better idea of just how difficult it is to do this well. Your work will save me and many others a lot of grief.

You don't really grasp just how much graft has gone into this watching the weekly jobs but this just shows how much effort it's taken from scratch, hopefully the garage calls soon and we get to see it doing what it's built for 👍 favourite part has to be that ceiling 👌 looks awesome 👍 ps don't give up on the power issue 👍👍
