Hi Neha. I am an artist practicing Indian folk art. I want to learn terracotta jewellery and paint it with folk style motifs. Your videos are a big help to me. Wouid love to stay in touch with you.all the best
Thank you, and yes I understand the challenge. Which is probably why it would be best if it's practiced on paper first. Draw a circle with a diameter of 2 cms approx. Within that you may try drawing a lotus pattern and practice.
Thank you for the video... Could you please place video how to attach stud base ...I have never seen in your videos...I need Without using glue to stick
@@nehagopinathpillai yes I mean that... Like how you are fixing U pin to connect ... I bought some earrings. There it fixed with pin.. that's y i asked.. Am very good in making Quilling jewellery. I fixed some glue to stick it won't stay much longer... So I don't have much believe on glues ..
@@divdiv8510 okay I get it. You mean putting a nichrome wire in the stud and then fire it. 2 reasons that may not work. 1) I don't how safe is it to put the nichrome wire though the ear. 2) it's a stud and constantly pulling and pushing the pin can make it loose. In most places (both India and abroad) for handmade jewelry stud posts are stuck on only during the assembly phase.
I currently live in the US. So I buy my clay from a studio here. Back in Bangalore, I would buy my clay from a studio called Clay Joy owned by Mr Ramanuja. You can look up Clay Station in Bangalore. Both are pottery studios in Bangalore. Both provide firing facilities too. The clay I use is red fine moist low fire earthen ware clay without grog.
Is painted. Beautiful colour combination.
Fantastic tutorial!
Thank you!
Loving it. Trying to do for my sister 💕
