Please answer me I need you very much I ate corn so One tooth moved in front of another and it hurts. What should I do? That is, I tilted one tooth slightly behind another That is, because of that, my tooth is now slightly behind another tooth I am so sad is that bad I wish I had never eaten that corn

Spitting it out is a good start, but rinsing afterwards is better. Where do you think whatever toothpaste still remains in your mouth can go? It only has two ways out. Rinsing your mouth helps it leave the mouth the right way, instead of being swallowed.
Every time I’m laying in bed feeling like getting up to brush my teeth feels like a LOT of effort, I hear your “boop boop” intro sound in my head and force myself up 😂♥️ can’t let my Whitney down!
Can you do a video about the differences in Fluoride pleasseee. And dont forget Amine Fluoride please. Inwould be so thankful and it would be such a cool vid @TeethTalk
Slightly lower flouride concentration in mouthwash? Slightly? Most toothpaste has nearly times as much sodium flouride as a mouthwash ( .24% vs .05%). That's a pretty big difference. Stannous flouride isn't normally in mouthwash so there isn't as easy to compare. I use a toothpaste that has very little grit and a mild taste so spitting well leaves almost no sensation other than clean teeth.
I would consider doing this at bedtime, but if you leave the toothpaste on your teeth at any other time, won’t you ingest the toothpaste together with your next meal or even a sip of water?
I would not leave it in the mouth especially at bed time because I believe paste does have some sweetner/sugar and this can be feast house for the bacteria when your saliva is not active, in the day time different story. what's your take on this?
Hi @Teethtalk, I have a situation that I'm hoping you can help with. My daughter inevitably ends up wanting to eat after brushing at night. I've done all kinds of things to ensure she's had enough to eat before we brush, but I think she's just a nighttime snacker. Are there any foods that are teeth-healthy or at least less damaging for her to eat after brushing? I've been leaving an apple on her nightstand just to give her an option, but it would be good to know if there are any other options or if even this is a terrible idea. Thank you for creating these videos!
I started not rinsing after brushing couple months ago, it does feel weird at the first couple of weeks, but now it feels okay. I do use a toothpaste that doesnt contain SLS, so its not as yucky if I use a toothpaste that contains SLS (SLS toothpaste makes too much bubbles and it also makes my spit thick, ew)
My tongue🥵will burn 🔥 and my mouth ll get numb , I can’t even use tooth past daily ! I get speech stuttering after using it because I get numb. I wonder how kids use it .

I don’t rinse or drink for about 30 min after brushing it ps not the best feeling but not end of the world and can handle it for 30 min or so like would a mouth wash which also leaves a dry mouth and pasty after taste like toothpaste and makes you feel thirty
the whole point is you don't want to ingest fluoride, as it's bad for the brain. but you want to have it on your teeth to make them stronger. The best is if you can just spit the excess and give it 30 minutes or so until you drink or eat anything, so the fluoride gets in the teeth. But that's a bit too much for the toothpaste producers to write on the tube, so they just say you should rinse.
Should you brush when u have a cold or flu, when ur sick. I just think it's gross having the germs on the toothbrush. So I just rinse with germ protection mouthwash. But I want to know the truth of the matter.
you say to brush before eating breakfast, but wait 30 mins to eat? I don't have that kind of time in the morning, to wait 30 mins to eat. What do you recommend?
This is what i usually do tho and i want your thoughts about it , i usually just brush my teeth then rinse it with water then after i usually do a quick brush with flouride then i wont rinse it with water. Need help
I recommend when you're done brushing, just spit out the toothpaste and don't rinse for at least 15 to 30 minutes. The feeling might be weird at first, but it eventually gets better, the thing I noticed from doing this is my teeth feel stronger. That is just my recommendation.
After I brush my teeth I spit out the excess. I don't rinse with water. I then go in with a mouthwash and swish it with the leftover toothpaste in my mouth. Lastly, I spit out the mouthwash and no rinsing with water.
What's wrong with Western people ???? Rinsing is a must after brushing. I don't know why Americans have this phobia towards Water in general ??? They don't even rinse their mouth after eating food. We Indians rinse our mouths after brushing and eating. With all due respect to you as a Dentist this is only culturally appropriate advice that you're giving.

You'll inevitably swallow toothpaste if you leave it there. Best to rinse it out.
Nop
Not if you use a electric toothbrush
@@pans-bi6vs Are you saying if you leave toothpaste in your mouth, it won't be swallowed so long as you use an electric toothbrush?
Just spit it out you wont swallow any of it

I started using prescription toothpaste (3M Clinipro 5000) so I don't rinse.

Apples are acidic. Try to find alkaline based foods for her to snack on. Try some seeds or nuts if she’s not allergic! 😌
Thank you!

I know it's wrong but I have seen on some toothpaste labels that says rinse after brushing what do they mean ?
Thanks, love your videos very educative
thanks for watching :) like I said, I'm all about rinsing I prefer the smoothness on my teeth :) either way is fine!

you should brush and then, after the flu, replace the toothbrush.
Brush your teeth no matter what. You do not want to leave food on and in between your teeth. Replace your toothbrush when the illness is gone.
Replace the toothbrush or soak your toothbrush in Hydrogen peroxide
always brush during and then replace the toothbrush or toothbrush head (if electric) once you're healthy again! hope this helps!
@@TeethTalk Wow, u answered me. I feel so honored. Thanks for the good advice. I will certainly do that. ✌️ ❤️ & teeth!
If i dont rinse after brushing my teeth my mouth will be filled with blood. Think ill keep rinsing

I don't wait in the morning either -- no time! But before bed --- at night I never eat or drink anything after brushing! And all is well!
So swallow fluoride when they tell you not to swallow
Peace love teeth ❤
Thank you
thank you :) :)

I am so sorry. My mind went straight into the gutter with this topic. Please forgive me.
I don't rinse I can't actually tell that it's still on my teeth 🦷 😂
