Real talk- I know nothing about guitars or tone replication or whatever but I'm really digging this tune. I would love to know if its available somewhere.

I have a 69 Fender Precision w/Jazz Neck at the time custom color, Ocean Turqoise, block inlay on rosewood neck/bought at the music store I worked for in 1969. 2024 and Fender Custom Shop says "Sorry we won't touch it because you don't have a receipt"; although I do have owners manual with assembler name of "E Paxton", only Custom Shop in Colorado is HB Woodsong, Boulder. I thought Fender had control of their channel. I believe HC Woodsong is telling Fender that no receipt, no work.
They may not be new to it but the UI blows away the others. Fist time I’ve considered and bought a modeler due to the UI and an Amp manufacturer stepping into the modeling arena. Good times for all, even if you don’t buy the fender. It will stimulate advancements for sure.
Pricepoint would be nice is less. But sure beat buying all the amps I can get close to in sound.

The price is out of this World. I won't be selling my HX Stomp and TONEX any time soon.
Price is comparable to the FM9 and Quad Cortex, which have no problems selling out frequently.
@JoeJoel - both of those companies already have a long history of creating high quality modeling products, though. If given the choice between either of those, I don't see why anyone would pick the Fender - it's not a proven product. The only way it can compete is if it's SIGNIFICANTLY better sounding. Even at half the price, this would be a hard sell against Helix. Fender's definitely got an uphill battle here. Such a strange product to release. I hope they do well, but I feel like we're going to see some huge price cuts in the next 6 months 😩
@@JoeJoel The FM9 is better. Infact I would rather have my old FM3 vs what Fender is offering. So far the Fender's presets have been underwhelming.
@@derek_dI would agree with fractal, but neural? Plugins, yes. Modeler? No. Still waiting for everything promised (desktop editor, plugin compatibility). Sold my QC before the price decrease. The best decision I've made recently.
@@Chrs.towper if they would've just not promised any of those, the product would've been perfectly fine, though. People are upset with the QC because it's lacking features they promised, not because it doesn't sound good. There's no mention of profiling on the Fender unit (though, it does have a mic input, so maybe) so functionally it already does less. The SOUND of the QC is great and they've already been releasing updates for several years. They still haven't delivered on many of their initial promises, but at least they've been updating it since it came out. They sold well because of their plugin offerings that people loved. Fender has, what, the Mustang line for us to judge off of?

They created new products not to end your search but to make more money...beware. Get back to clean tone where you can hear your real guitar sound.
There are plenty of other demos available that show what you want. Due diligence always.
Fender ... do the right thing, we guitarists , good, great, or bad, personally... I have a passion for the instrument not a talent, there's a difference, I also have a passion for Fenders, all the standards, the amps, and even a Strat just in case I want to riff heavy, but the G.O.T crew ... make that right, corporations should use budlight as a cautionary tale, boycotts work, they hurt and the guitar industry is finicky, peculiar and up and down, be the Legend you are ... just a suggestion. Otherwise some may have bought their last Fender ... especially country guys. They're a whole bunch of different, look at Garth Brooks....

Lol you sound crazy. What’s the right thing? Continue making giant tube amps that no one but a few of us buy anymore? Guitar is and has been a background instrument for years now. If you can get any sound out of this thing and it is 95% close enough that’s all most people need. I’m sure we will still be able to buy hot rod deluxes and whatever else.

Folks from @fender: looks really nice but IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! You are entering the modeler game now, you do not have a tradition and consistency as a software/hardware company and you are already charging this product as top notch. I’m sorry, but it’s not.
beside a great UI you are not offering anything different than other modelers. The IRs you are offering are not drastically different or better than the modelers in the market cheaper than Yours)- honestly, Fractal IRs are better than yours.
Would I buy this modeler: if it was cheaper, yes. At the current price tag, NO WAY!!!!

It is really really intuitive and simple but the sound… it’s not there yet. I owned fractal AX8 for years and 5150 6L6 (peavey and fender) - fender has some work to do!!! Fair price for this unit? USD 1,299
