    Man, I'm so happy for Mike. Dude is such a workhorse and to see him all over the place now, getting picked up by Jackson/Fender and whatnot is amazing. Not just a great guitarist (who tones it back a bit for Spiritbox, because guitar wankery has its place) but also a great composer. Just really knows how to put things together and now he's getting the attention he deserves!

    I love that they blurred the VOX amp model at the end and then they gave up because their editing was bad.
    Amazing piece of tech, definitely worthy to be in any guitar or bass players arsenal. Putting it through a EV Evolve 50M is crazy, but their FR10 does a good job too

    Excellent user interface! The best UI, hands down.
    ( The TMP should come with a matching expression pedal! )
    Also: lower the price a bit. You need to entice users of the Fractal, Helix, and QC to try this thing.
    At the current price, they probably won't. People new to modeling won't look at it either. They will be
    looking at a Boss GX-100. So who is the TMP for? Who is the target customer? 🤔

    Honestly, this being it in its initial form? I'm liking this more than my QC back when it was still new on the market lol the price? It's a bit on the high side with this being the initial specs, yes, but at the same time I've spent over 3-4k on mayones guitars and other brands without complaints, yet I'll sound equally as good playing a $1,200 ibanez lol this is clearly aimed at more than your everyday bedroom guitarist, hence why they price it that way.

    How many blocks available on each signal path?

    • @TheCyberMantis
      @TheCyberMantis 11 місяців тому

      I think it depends on what you are using in the blocks. Once the processor starts getting taxed, it will "grey-out" stuff it can't handle. Eventually, you won't be able to add anything more to the signal chain. The unit has an 8-core processor, so it can handle a lot before it gets bogged down.

    Folks from Fender: looks really nice but IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! You are entering the modeler game now, you do not have a tradition and consistency as a software/hardware company and you are already charging this product as top notch. I’m sorry, but it’s not.
    beside a great UI you are not offering anything different than other modelers. The IRs you are offering are not drastically different or better than the modelers in the market cheaper than Yours)- honestly, Fractal IRs are better than yours.
    Would I buy this modeler: if it was cheaper, yes. At the current price tag, NO WAY!!!!

      And no amp & pedal capture/profiling capabilities? All I can say is Fender better be working on adding that feature in a firmware update ASAP because the asking price is steep. I think I'll wait two-three years to pick up a used example on Reverb at the price it should have been at launch.

    • @TheCyberMantis
      @TheCyberMantis 11 місяців тому

      @@TheCyberMantis $1700 feels like wishful thinking for Fender for what this unit does.
