Uncharted beats Kitchen Nightmares hands down imo. And there's a lot more places he could visit with this show. Somewhere in Central Asia or Mongolia would be awesome. As well as some other Sub Saharan African countries and Eastern Europe.

Amazing to see this cultural side of Hawaii. Love the great chemistry between Gordon and Sheldon. Gordon being more competitive, Sheldon brings in a more relaxing and spontaneous vibe by making jokes, but by calling him 'Chef' he does it with so much respect to Gordon. Such a genuine guy.
"That is f***in delicious!" When you make Gordon swear like that, your food is good!

This is probably one of my favorite episodes. The people were amazing and Sheldon was really kind and respectful, calling Gordon ''chef'' the whole time. I honestly hope he goes back there for a réunion!
This is what I love about Gordon. Even more HUGE props for letting that guy wear his "Fishing" Shirt. Really authentic gettogether, of course some reactions must be provoked, it IS entertainment after all. Good job producers, directors and crew! Oh, and of course the Chefs!

Best food show on tv. Love the combination of cooking, nature, food culture, and adventure. Also the photography is amazing. On our channel we have huli huli chicken and kalua pig videos based on the structure of these from Ramsay, also making pipikaula and hawaii style smoke meat videos. Mahalo for the inspiration, chef!

I really do take inspiration to start cooking and explore the true beauty of what some of the cultures have to offer. Not only that but the conservation of certain species and habitats all around the world. You’re a true role model Gordon. You deserve it. ❤️

Where are you from out of curiosity? I've never heard of it called pana. Here in Hawai'i its called ulu in Hawaiian.

In Jamaica we love to eat roast breadfruit with curry or saltfish. It can be eaten with any meat dish but it's a staple with curry.

My first attempt would be making breadfruit fries. Cut it up and drop those babies in hot oil. Maybe a breadfruit curry or breadfruit tacos would be my second choice. So many options. I hear they taste like artichoke hearts. Might eat them raw and make a white creamy dipping sauce :)
