They used to kill the cows and export the hids and good cuts , first salted during 1st part of the 1800s , later refrigerated or canned. They used to throw out (or tirar in spanish) the short rib strips. So workers would wrap it around themselves like belts and walk out with it and grill it. 5) You should watch "Todo sobre el asado" on net flix , if you reaaally want to learn about Argentine asado 6) The meat-zza is matambre ala pizza. Mata-kill- hambre-hunger
Matambre is stuffed flank steak. When eaten as an appetizer, or light lunch, it's the boiled version, which is paired with potato salad. There's also a dinner version that is roasted or grilled. BTW, milanesas are NOT schnitzels. The milanesa comes from Milan. Unlike schnitzels, the egg wash has minced garlic and parsley.

@@markwhelan6511 no it is not the media spreading bullshit is the reality for most argentinians. For you might be cheap but for us is a ton of money. Most argentinians earn around 200 and 300 dollars a month, some argentinians earn around 500 dollars but have to pay around 200 dollars of rent or even more. Inflation makes everything more expensive for us and cheaper for the foreigner
If a piece of meat costs lets say 10 dollars and for us is 10 thousand pesos argentinos and inflation kicks in, the price in dollars is still 10 dollars but those ten dollars are now worth for example 20 thousand pesos argentinos because the peso is more worthless than before. The dollar is more stable than the peso and the price don't change in that currency, it changes for us. If you're from the us and argentina is cheap for you today is going to be cheap for you tomorrow despite inflation
@@SantiagoJRodriguez1 I see, thanks for the clairifcation. Does that mean for a native argentinian, this place would be a luxurious meal then? Or do some Argentinians get paid in US dollars instead now because of the high inflation of the pesos?

1) salsa criolla goes best with bondiola (the boneless pork shoulder)
2) It is vinagreta on the tongue /lengua not salsa criolla (which has more brine)
3) Some chimichurri is green (not to be confused with provenzal which is just parsley, garlic and oil) , others red, the red one is more from the northwest part of the country .
4) Asado de tira used to be thrown away hence the name. They used to kill the cows and export the hids and good cuts , first salted during 1st part of the 1800s , later refrigerated or canned. They used to throw out (or tirar in spanish) the short rib strips. So workers would wrap it around themselves like belts and walk out with it and grill it.
5) You should watch "Todo sobre el asado" on net flix , if you reaaally want to learn about Argentine asado
6) The meat-zza is matambre ala pizza. Mata-kill- hambre-hunger
Can't believe you missed the "vacio"!

4:14 whoa!! whoa!! whoa!! Now…you got to much dip on your chip now😂😂😂
those 6 bone flanken ribs looked godly
Matambre is stuffed flank steak. When eaten as an appetizer, or light lunch, it's the boiled version, which is paired with potato salad. There's also a dinner version that is roasted or grilled. BTW, milanesas are NOT schnitzels. The milanesa comes from Milan. Unlike schnitzels, the egg wash has minced garlic and parsley.

Sony bro I am for Argentina and been following you a long time ago, thanks for visiting Argentina I wish you were with a local to explain things more clearly to you and to show you more Argentinian experiences, thanks for showing our beautiful country, great videos as always!
My mouth is watering 😍 they were all so nice too

literally me rn lol
OMG MEAT OVERLOAD 😮😂 Great video as usual!! Happy weekend 👋
I ate some quinoa and fried eggs while watching this. My life is meaningless.
Thank you for making me part of the video , I am the original carving guy From country buffet lol
I read about all this poverty and ultra high inflation in Argentina that watching a video about eating unlimited meat for this price boggles the mind.
Me too ..just shows the power of the media spreading BS
@@rikachiu Technically it's not THAT expensive. there is places even more expensive but the current situation is rough. I'd say the biggest crisis in history. About salaries, everyone get paid in pesos. Of course there is a big amount of people that works remote to the outside and have a USD salary, but even now food prices, some services, almost everything are higher than europe rn.
That beef short rib looked amazing.
Grass fed and grass finished
This is the way
You earned my thumbs up like with the borophyll comment... hahaha Ol' Billy Madison!

I want to live in that restaurant
, I got the meat sweats from all the way in Japan. And don’t think for a second I missed that Billy Madison reference.
FOR ALL THE ADIENCE, the meet ir in argentina its only using SALT! We eat the meat without seasoning it much, unless it is a special version, with sauce and cheese, what we do add is chimichurri later.
Did you say Old country buffet potatoes are made of cardboard and glue? 😮😮😮
I believe that to be true
Lol
He was kidding. OCB does not use high quality ingredients like glue and cardboard.
I have just finished my dinner, after watching this i feel hungry again 🤤
❤ to try the entire menu
Sonny asking the chef to point on himself where the beef came from😂😂😂😂
Your jokes are out of this world 😂
I had to wait an hour to watch this because i am slow cooking a beef stroganoff and there was no way I was watching a beef buffet without a plate of food in front of me and I think I made a very smart decision
Man I wish we had that place where I live😋
This video is mind-blowing! The sheer scale of the beef buffet is astonishing, and your adventurous spirit in taking on the Heart Attack Challenge is truly commendable.
